I had the best accidental discovery when I parked in front of Ceramic Coatings Experts while searching for another business. I’d been wanting to get my wife’s new black Honda Passport ceramic coated, so I popped in to check it out. That’s when I met Lane—what a genuinely nice guy! He took the time to explain their products and the application process in detail, and I was sold. After finishing my other errand, I went home, grabbed my wife’s car, and brought it back for Lane to work his magic. We picked it up the next day, and wow—the car looked absolutely amazing! The shine and finish were beyond our expectations. Lane and his son provide top-notch products and service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stellar ceramic coating experience!

One of the worst experiences of my life dealing with San Diego Ceramic Coating. Paid them $1500 cash to remove spots on my truck that a dealer had accidentally put on from sprinklers. Picked up the Truck and it seemed to look good however when I got home it became apparent they missed a lot of the spots on the hood and roof and some other spots on the trim pieces. Brought it down for them to look at and Lane acknowledged they missed them but instead of taking responsibility he blamed the spots for coming back on their own. We went back and forth and he kept making excuse after excuse for me to not bring it down there to fix, putting all new paid customers ahead of me. I finally paid someone else to fix it and asked them to reimburse me. Lane agreed but has since reneged on it and become very combative with me cursing at me when I ask him to resolve this. I would stay far away from having work done here if good customer service is what you want if you have any issues. I tried unsuccessfully for over two months to resolve this with him to no avail. Pictures attached are after they did the work. Follow up to Lane's comment: Just a follow up since Lane thinks this was a scam some how. Rivian acknowledged they sprayed water from a sprinkler on the vehicle. Literally no scam at all. Lane somehow thinks Rivian is a scam company and doesn't understand they are a major car company. He kept referring to them as a used car lot and would not acknowledge they are a car company even thought the vehicle had RIVIAN stamped on it!! Only scam was the extremely shoddy work Lane and Co. did to my truck.

My Honda pilot was in dire need of help, and I called many places in the San Diego area looking for who I wanted to do the ceramic coating for it. Amazing Work. Brought in my BMW which sits outside most parts of the year and was filthy. The paint was rough and some of the Carbon Fiber was fading. They couldn’t have done a more AMAZING job on my car, they made 14 Year old Paint look Brand New. I’ve owned the car for anwhile and have never seen the paint look this Fantastic. I ONLY Recommend getting your cars Ceramic coated with these guys.
