Check engine light came on in my 2012 BMW X5 diesel. Turned out to be problem with the DEF system which had to be replaced. Techs did a great job of explaining what was wrong and options. I opted for replacing the system. Not cheap, but SAS has cared for my last three BMW’s and I’ve been very happy with the honesty and the quality of their work. Happy I opted to do the repair properly after weighing the options.

Took my daughter’s vehicle in for a couple of issues and concerns. SAS staff diagnosed the problem(s) and were detailed in their explanation of what was need to be repaired. I asked what the main problems were that needed to be addressed ASAP and they told me. There was no pressure to complete everything they diagnosed and told me what was most important to address. Very professional staff and will definitely use SAS again if needed.

Took my 2017 Volvo V90 CC here for a timing belt. I knew it was early for the mileage, but was told by a mechanic in South Lake Tahoe who does my oil changes and works on all European cars (just not Volvos) that I was in dire need of replacement. According to him it was worn, cracking, my car is about to become a turbo brick in all the worst ways, yada yada. Brought my car into SAS to do all the work, they quoted me ~3k. Once they looked at it, told me it was fine, no apparent wear on the belt. Car is in good shape, gave me a list of things that needed to be done: Aux battery (I know) and rear wiper (I know). All things I had been putting off because we know that aux battery is stupid and easy to replace. I had them go ahead and do those two things. Was it expensive? Yes. Did they do honest and good work? Yes. Take my money, I trust you. I will be a customer for the life of this car. She's a beautiful unicorn. Now I need to find a new mechanic for my oil changes in SLT.

SAS has been a life saver for me. They stand behind their work with a Warranty to make any problem that has arises from their work. Also, SAS will fix the problem if a defective part arises from their work for NoCharge. Very trustworthy! SAS have the BEST mechanics for servicing my 2019 Volvo! Staff are very knowledgeable and are able to explain thoroughly what was the problem with my vehicle. I know nothing about cars so that is a major plus! Dependable and thorough service. I got a new vehicle and saw the commercial for this place. They were able to squeeze me in on a day before a holiday. I just wanted to get an inspection to check for any issues. Ray did the inspection and said overall the car is in great condition but there is a small leak. I'm taking it back to the dealership to get the leak repaired. They also were able to get it in on the same day that I called. Had an electrical problem with my brake lights sticking, SAS took care of the problem they also performed a 32 point inspection and recommended other services that needed to be replaced. They also provide a payment installment plan with AFFIRM so it makes it very affordable for individuals who don't have the extra cash on hand @the time of payment. Happy we choose SAS to bring our mini to when we felt we had a big problem. The problem proved to b a lot smaller when they discovered our problem was an engine mount. Then they performed an oil change and cleared up a problem we didn't even know existed. All was cleared up and David walked us thru each step. Great service and attention to our concerns. Mini is running better than it has in months. Good service!

Bought a used Tiguan as a commuter car, experienced rough running day one. Nice little car, less than 100k miles, but developed a problem none the less. Tried doing the obvious and easy items, no joy. Brought my car into SAS on a recommendation, had a great experience. They understood my reluctance to over invest into the car, did the appropriate repairs after a thorough inspection. Car is fine now, cost was as friendly as it could have been, I’m very satisfied. In addition to having provided meaningful repairs, the car was addressed ahead of schedule and returned to me promptly. SAS AUTOMOTIVE is a great find. I trusted them as soon as I entered the office. The front end personnel are upbeat and very knowledgeable. We got right into my cars needs and a few things I thought necessary actually were not. Nice to hear! The certified trained mechanic documented everything that should be addressed relayed the cost and was completely satisfied at the difference of taking it to the SAS AUTOMOTIVE vs the Porsche dealership. While waiting for the car to be repaired, SAS drove me down thre street to Costco. Unfortunately, going to Costco was a big mistake because my Costco bill was larger than SAS. I recently took my 2015 Q5 to SAS Automotive at 107,000 miles and asked them not only for a standard safety inspection but also to look closely at components that typically show wear on vehicles of this vintage. Their service was outstanding. They communicated clearly, walked me through everything they found, and explained each recommended repair in detail. Had to bring my car in for new repairs, the SAS team is great as usual! They make us aware of the issue at hand as well as any other issues that look to be a problem in the near future. They never push to get things fixed that aren’t an immediate threat but they do make you aware of it. They have always fixed our vehicles pretty quick. Usually when we need 3-4 things fixed it’s about a 3 day turn around. They’re a very trustworthy shop, I won’t go anywhere else!
