This is a great place to get serious and professional service! I had issues with my AC and I was told I needed to get a new AC from subaru dealership. Visited school street auto since it's close to my home and for a 2and opinion and I was please with their service. The AC did not need replacement, it just needed to be analyzed by an actual professional and it needed repair without replacing the whole thing.

I just moved to Quincy not to long ago, and I knew finding an auto shop should be one of the top things to do on my list. Luckily a friend recommend me to school street auto, and let me tell you they did not disappoint, Hamido especially was very helpful, he even replaced my headlights ! And was so kind about it. Would recommend 100%. I was given a ballpark price, which was better than the dealership offered me, and they stuck with that price. Hamido (spelling?) went out of his way to get me a transmission with much lower mileage. Good guys, too. Glad I found them. I'll keep coming here for sure.

Joe is honest beyond honest. He helped me find a good car by letting me know what models were reliable. He inspected cars before I bought them. He turned me away from vehicles with a high cost to repair even though he’d make less money. Joe also always tells me what repairs are needed and which ones are unnecessary. He treats you like family. Great businessman, mechanic and all-around good guy. I could not recommend anyone more highly than I recommend Joe.

You can trust them. I went to other places for annual inspections, and other businesses found various excuses to cheat me out of money. This store is different. This store is honest and trustworthy. So I tip $5 every time, which adds up to $40 for the annual inspection. Thanks to them, I will contact them if I have any problems with my car in the future.

I had a nail in my tire and I called School Street Automotive. They were able to patch and plug the tire the same day. I dropped it off at 10am and they called back at 1pm, the owner at the front desk said it was no charge (this very nice of them). I provided a nice cash tip to the mechanic who fixed the tire. It was very straight forward service here. They got themselves a new customer!
