terrible. they charged me over $60 for a basic oil change and kept saying what I needed to get xyz fixed on my car, and asked me the pin for my credit card. There is something really wrong with this place.

I’ve been a customer for years and brought many cars here. Today I showed up for a sticker and the guy started yelling at me before I even got out of the car. He’s busy, I get it, I still tried to be polite saying “should I come later?” His answer: “I don’t care what you do”. Today I brought my business somewhere else.

Beware ripoff! This place charged my wife $40 for a simple tire repair - 5 minutes with rubber plug and glue. I'm sure the pricing was based on her being a female.

I used a debit card at the pump FIVE DAYS ago and they still haven’t released the $60 hold. I’ve never had it take that long before. Most gas stations release it within seconds of me completing my tank fill/purchase. Because of this, i probably won’t be using this gas station again.

They really helped me out of a jam tonight. I got a flat that couldn't be fixed and no one else was open. We were about to get a hotel and try to find any place that would be open on a Sunday tomorrow, but we decided to try Bearde and sons first. I'm so glad we did. Brian didn't have a used tire to fit, but he did have one off of his own car. He took it off, put it on my wheel, and installed it. And we were on our way! You know the kind of person someone is when they go out of their way to help someone in need. A+ would recommend

Attempted to do the state inspection. The men were extremely rude and told me to take off my mask. They yelled at me the whole time. Overpriced. He told me to take off my out of state plates and put the new ones myself, otherwise it was an extra $20. I went to a different place and they did it with no extra charge and no fuss.. Please take your business elsewhere.

Had a pleasant experience. I brought the car for state inspection sticker. There were a few light bulbs that were out and that would have failed the inspection. It takes about an hour to take the car apart to change these bulbs in a Prius. Since we live so close, the owner drove us back and forth while it was getting fixed. Overall very satisfied.

Obviously, I am not the only one according to the comments. I tried to fix a nail in the tire and here is what I got. A bad finish on the tire, tire pressure over 50 which triggered TPMS alert on my way back, a 40 dollar bill for just a tire job, and my new nickname “fk stupid” called by the owner. I am almost certain that you don’t care about these comments and review after seeing a rating score rarely this low on this app. So I might as well express my feeling, leave a footprint and spit here as a tradition I guess. Enjoy your life though. I bet it is wonderful and much more lovable than this job.

This gas station called Bearde's Citigo at 447 Southern Artery, Quincy, MA 02169 is a scam. They have different prices for different pumps. I saw the price listed as $4.29 for 93 gas, so I randomly selected a pump to refuel. To my surprise, they charged me $4.59. The staff claimed that the pump I chose was full service, while the adjacent one was self-service, so I had to pay the higher price. I feel deceived and cheated. They refused to correct the price, stating that the gas was already in my car. I've never heard of such a policy before. It's outrageous! I even got out of my car and was inserting my credit card when an employee slowly approached me, informing that the pump was full service. I stood by the pump the entire time, including entering my credit card PIN and assisting them in multiple attempts to refresh the card due to their faulty chip reader. They call it full service and forced me to pay the higher price. I will never visit this gas station again, and I strongly discourage anyone from supporting this fraudulent business.

I’ve dealt w many towing companies and this is the most inconvenient, unpleasant experience that I have ever had. Not only is the owner incredibly rude but they extort their customers at every angle. I paid $500 when the going rate for every other company I have worked w in the past is 170-200. 10/10 do not recommend calling Beardes.

A white older guy that does the inspection service, He didnt want to service the car just straight rude and disrespectful with an attitude asking why we didnt come in earlier even though we came in an hour before closing, told us to come back tomorrow morning. He was so unprofessional on the a personal phone call while doing so just so he can leave early. I will never go back there. There was an employee up front that was very polite and I feel sorry that he has to deal with that every day.

Came here for a straightforward inspection. The attendant completely lacked any decorum. Told me I was all set and then demanded that I pay him... of course I'm aware that inspections aren't free. He was irritated and expected me to automatically know where I should go to pay him when the register was in a room behind the counter. How am I supposed to know that? When I finished paying, he threw my credit card at me. I asked him for the checklist and report, he told me my sticker was already in my car. I was asking for the report. I ended up never receiving the report nor ever receiving the receipt. I keep these documents for my records. I have never been treated in such a way before. The whole situation left me completely and utterly disrespected.

I routinely bring my cars here for inspections and can't say enough nice things about Dennis. He's friendly, respectful, prompt, and extremely helpful. I encourage anyone to ignore the tough reviews here and pay a visit.
