BIG, OPEN SHOP! LOTS OF "COOL" ;*rides* for sale. On, main artery going into down town, brightly decorated building, with sharp turn into ally for parking next to roll up door of shop. Big counter to watch all kinds of repairs happening. Shop has, relaxed, colorful, edgy vibe with everything you'd want for buying a Scooter or Moped in the show room selection. This is the one-stop-shop to go to. They're website shows a couple bikes, but they're shop....has a HUGE selection. check it out! Promise you'll be glad you did. It's the Sacramento hidden in plain sight. The repair shop, in the shop is fast too.

I walked into this place today with my wife. We were two of three total customers in this place. There was one staff member. He barely aknowledged us and went back to his one customer. We waited 20+ minutes before my wife just got tired of waiting so we said good bye and left. You would at the very least think the staff member would have said "I'm sorry, is there anything I can help you with"? Or "can I point you in the right direction"?. Nope! He just waved back us with a smile, laughed and went back to his customer. Talk about not having a clue on how to multitask. My wife and I will never return to this horrible place and we, today, purchased three brand new scooters from ATV Wholesale off Auburn road. The staff there was way more busy and greated us when we walked in.

This place was a joke, I brought my scooter to get my front tire fixed after calling the only guy in the shop by the name of “Mike“ asked me why I brought my whole scooter down and then proceeded to tell me that all his employees are out of town and he cannot work nor store my scooter in the meantime. Who does that with a professional business mind, so now not only did I waste my energy walking my scooter from P and 19th but they also lost my money. Not professional by any means and do NOT recommend to any scooter enthusiast...

Rick from Scooter City has been a life saver! I bought a used bike in Sacramento and had to drive it back to the Bay Area, but it turned out it had too much oil. Because I was afraid to damage the engine I called multiple services to drain the oil. While everyone declined to help me out, Rick from Scooter City had me come over 5min before they closed. He ended up not only fixing my oil problem but also adjusting the chain when he learned that I just bought that bike. Really fast, friendly and helpful! If I would be living in Sacramento, this would definitely be my go to workshop to service my bike!

I will definetly be back! My "flowerbell" scooter needed lots of help. Rick explained every detail and impressed me with his knowledge and information on my Vespa. He knows his bikes that for sure. I felt his honesty right away. His price was reasonable too! Thank you, Rick. You make your business shine. Alicia

I took my 1981 Honda C70 Passport in to get the wiring and engine done. Rick did an amazing job of getting the bike up and running. The work was very clean and the bike runs super smooth. Scooter City is my go to when ever I need work done that I can’t do myself. Thanks guys!

This place is amazing!! They are reasonable priced. The owners work on your scooters. There are no surprise charges. If they discover something while working on your scooter they let you know if it’s a must fix, should fix in xx time. Took my scooter in at 1130 and had it back at 5pm.

Lance Cabo 200i I've been wanting a scooter for several years. I finally made it down to Scooter City last year because they are the only Lance dealers nearby. I've been wanting to check one out in person because a picture obviously isn't the same. I was feeling the dread of walking into a "dealership" expecting rude people with hard sales; however, I was immediately correctly and pleasantly surprised. The individual was incredibly nice and informative. He explained manufacturing backgrounds between the brands and follow up maintenance records. After hearing what I wanted, he gave me a brochure with some other websites. He suggested I look into a few other comparable options before making a final decision. No hard sales. I continued on with my life and went through the process of getting a motorcycle license. I came back 6-7 months later and experienced the exact same informative kindness. I bought a Lance that was already in the shop and took it home that evening. Very nice people that aren't pushy. They're knowledgeable willing to share that knowledge. Its obvious this is their passion. Great experience overall.

I will NEVER ever, ever, EVER take my scooters anywhere else to be serviced. Rick and his team are honest, they are hard working, and they are great communicators. He gives realistic timelines and always follows through. Rick has allowed me to stop by his shop multiple times to make sure my scooter is running perfectly without needing an appointment. Thanks so much Rick and team!

I took my 1975 Honda CT 90 in to see what all it needed. He agreed to give me an estimate. He did call and told me $4000.00. I told him that was way too much. When I went to pick up the bike all the covers were left off and the rear tail light was broke. He charged me $340.00. I asked him why I was being charged and what I was paying for. He said he had a bunch of time in it. No parts, the bike in pieces, and a broken rear tail light. It was very clear to me that he just wanted his hourly rate regardless of doing me any good. Regardless of that fact that he broke my tail light. He didn't even apologize for that. It really is incumbent upon people in the auto repair business to be really clear with people so that these kind of misunderstandings don't happen. There are laws regulating business' like this. I think this owner stepped outside of them in this transaction. We will see. Also I noticed a number of of similar reviews.

Brought my scooter in for a tune-up, exhaust replacement and battery replacement. I provided the exhaust and brand new Prima branded battery, the exhaust was done great, the battery was replaced, but they couldn't get my scooter running. I transported the scooter to another location, they got it up and running. Through that process I learned that my Prima battery was never installed. The existing battery was charged instead and the brand new battery was kept by the shop. That battery cost me $64.99 plus S&H. Dishonest service by Scooter City.

Rick is a busy guy and as soon as he gets to your scooter takes great care of it. He got it handled quickly and did a great job explaining everything to me when I picked up. He was nice about answering all my questions.

I have yet to bring my old cb350 here , but I'm planning on it! Rick the mechanic was so nice and helpful on the phone, didn't rush me with my questions and was knowledgeable, transparent and thorough while explaining the process. Then I came in person to look around and Sunny (sonny?) Helped me and was also very nice to talk with!! If you're looking for a bike or looking to have your bike or car worked on, give these people a call!( I'll try to update my review once I take my bike in!)

Rick and his team are great! Efficient and thorough, he's not interested in your bike sitting there, he'll do good work that you can trust and get it right back to you. I've had cause for immediate triage on my bike and he squeezed me in and got me back on the road. More than scooters, he does great work on my Triumph Bonneville.

Do not bring an actual motorcycle here. This scooter guy tried to charge me over $300 for labor to change a rear tire. PCP did it for $150

Great shop. Purchased my motorcycle new from Steve in 2020. I only trust Rick to service my bike. Top notch and very reasonably priced compared to other local mechanics. I brought her in for her 10,000 mile service and Scooter City really took care of me. Thanks Rick!
