Spoke with Scott directly when I needed an oil change and had only been going to the dealership previously. Happily got me in within a few days of calling and pointed out I needed new tires. Usually I am very skeptical of local mechanics after having some bad experiences at other private mechanics in Worcester. Scott showed me the tires and had me feel them and I was able to see myself they were almost completely bald. I appreciate a mechanic who is willing to teach me more about my car to make sure I was getting the right services. Btw the tire prices we far less than what I would have expected to pay elsewhere. Great guy and he got the tires an oil change done on the spot within a few hours. Will be going back to him for any regular maintence I need!

A+++ to Scott and Sons!! HANDS DOWN the absolutely best place I have ever gotten work done on any of my vehicles. First off, as a first time customer coming in to get work done the owner himself does a free, FULL, precise, all point inspection of everything on your vehicle down to the thickness of brake pads and tire tread itself. This alone at a dealership would be $150 easy and he does it FREE. Second, I did not get the pleasure of meeting the sons behind the name of the company but I did get the pleasure of meeting Scott and Mike. Both men had wonderful customer service and were always looking for any way possible to help or accommodate their customers whether it meant staying late or squishing someone’s car in quick into the 15 minute break they got that day with how busy they were. These guys blew me away in every way possible. Every customer I saw come in there or even that called weren’t just customers to them, they were family. I couldn’t help but stay and talk to Mike the whole time my Jeep was being worked on instead of sitting in the heated office with TV because he was just so kind and easy to talk to! Last but not least, I went in here with my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited which at this point I had brought to 3 Jeep dealerships prior to find an antifreeze problem. All 3 dealerships prior to these guys waved it off, it was nothing, and sent me home when whatever else was done. Well 10 minutes on the lift and into the air at Scott and Son’s and they found my problem which actually ended up being a huge crack in my radiator which could have lead to some SERIOUS damage if kept unfixed. After a diagnosis and Mike’s magical work with my third party service contract which no one else wants to touch anywhere the VERY NEXT DAY my Jeep was in and fixed THAT DAY! And at the end the owner/mechanic himself took a test drive with me just to make sure everything worked perfectly! I would 110% recommend this auto shop to anyone and everyone! I will no longer be taking my vehicle (or future vehicles) anywhere else ever again and neither should you! And to Scott & Sons... you’re the best! Thanks guys for everything ! ~Kayla :)

I finally found a mechanic I can trust. Scott gives fair prices and gets work done in a timely manner. His quotes are accurate and he always calls before doing additional work. I have been using Scott & Sons for all of my car maintenance and repairs for a few years now. I first brought my car to Scott after having power steering issues on my old car. Another garage told me that the power steering rack would need to be replaced and quoted me almost $1200. I went to Scott and he diagnosed it as a rusty component and with some heat and lubricant, he was able to fix the issue for only $75! He is honest and isn’t in it to make a quick buck, which is why I continue to go there and recommend his shop to family and friends.

I've been having my cars fixed by Scott and Sons for over 5 years at this point. For the most part, I've had good luck with mechanics. But I've always found Scott and the team there in a league of their own. They're a straightforward, no BS crew. I can bring a car and be confident I'm getting a fair price and quality work. I had my old 4Runner breakdown in northern VT. Had a shop look at it, and their immediate reaction was "this thing is done." Brought it to Scott and he was honest, "yes there's rust, but we can definitely fix this. If I couldn't do it well, I wouldn't do it at all." Couldn't be happier with these guys!

Couldn’t recommend Scott and Sons more. Car overheated on the way home on a Thursday night. Called them Friday morning when they were only open a few hours. Work was done 3+ months ago, still a satisfied customer. Long story short, I called Scott’s shop after hearing a screech in my tire late in the afternoon mid-week with a big dance recital coming up in 2 days in NH. Scott got me in that night and figured out my problem, Caliper and Wheel Bearing, fixed at a reasonable price and done quickly. Zero BS or upsell. That’s the short review, can stop here, or continue. The long story is in December I took my car to Premier Auto for a clanking tire in December a couple weeks before Christmas. I brought it in and they found out the bolt holding the caliper on the brake pad was gone and they replaced it. They then handed me a 3 page long assessment of 2,000+ worth of work for tie rods, control arms, you name it. I was floored, a couple weeks before Christmas and I got this going on. I left there with just the bolt fixed and Premier proceeded to text me about the quoted work over and over, but I ignored them. I then took my car for inspection at another local shop and it passed and they didn’t say a word about tie rods to control arms, plus my car was driving fine. Then a couple months after the inspection I hear the screeching and whooshing that comes with a Wheel bearing and I brought it in to Scott. After Scott told me about the Caliper replacement and the Wheel bearing I told him specifically about the tie rods and control arms, I told Scott if he felt they should be replaced I’ll do them. This was about 4 months after Premier told me I needed to replace them… and Scott told me nope, they didn’t need to be replaced. That’s TWO places that looked at my car and told me Premier was trying to push more $ out of me. I had the work done on my car with Scott about 3 months ago and my car is driving great still, 8 months after Premier tried to get me for 2k+ a couple weeks before Christmas. If you want great work, reasonable prices, and no BS up charging, go to Scott, if you want to be charged for work you don’t need when you didn’t even ask if you needed it, go to Premier. Scott and his team are fantastic and they’ll be my families shop for as long as they’re open.
