They've been straightforward and all too willing to explain in detail options that have been helpful in terms of saving a few bucks and making me understand the issues with my vehicle. Great place that's trustworthy and does great work! A year a go I left a sort and simple review as you read. I really wanted to update it after my experience today. Ray is literally just awesome, plain and simple. I made an appt for a noise and after my Google effort was certain I was screwed. They got me in and Ray was so honest, that yes, eventually my timing chains was going to need to be replaced but for now it just needed to be topped off with oil, he also showed me how to check (yes, I did not know). They topped it off and I asked what I owed them, and he said nothing but a handshake. This is why I will NEVER take my car anywhere else, he easily could of said oh look let's change them now, but this is a very honest business. I cannot recommend them enough!

Great service and very reasonable prices. I've always trusted Ray with my car. When my 1998 m3 needed service and I heard that Ray now had Scott's I didn't hesitate. Beyond the great service and prices, Ray's customer service is like no other. He takes care of his customers, listens to them and takes the time to go over things with them. 5 stars isn't enough.

I have been to this shop to have work done on my car multiple times. As a woman, typically when I take my car into dealerships or auto shops I am told my car needs hundreds if not thousands of dollars in work. I have a Nissan versa hatchback, I get the oil changed every 6 months and keep up with typical maintenance. Nearly every time I have gotten my oil changed at other shops I am told my battery is failing and I need a new one. I will then take my battery to get tested elsewhere it’s fine. I have never had an experience at Scott’s Motor Werks where I have been taken advantage of or attempted to be upsold anything. They are very straight forward about what is wrong with the car, what needs to be addressed immediately, and what can be addressed at a later date. This is the shop I have been taking my car to for repairs for the last 4 years.

I have been coming to Scott's for almost 20 years with 3 different BMW's and I tell everyone I can about the great service and honestly that I always receive. Scott is now retired and the new owner Ray is just as fantastic and I would not ever take my car anywhere else. I live about an hour away and still I would not trust anyone else with my car. The customer service is always top notch and prices are competitive. More importantly I appreciate the times that I have taken my car in thinking that I was going to have a major repair on my hands only to find out that tightening a loose bolt was really the problem and no charge!!! Really, that is unheard of in this business. Reputation is everything and Scott and Ray have figured that one out, which is why I recommend this shop whenever I can. You won't be disappointed.

I have been taking my BMW here for over 5 years and have had multiple services done including a clutch. The service has always been impeccable and the Scott’s motor Werks team is extremely knowledgeable and professional. They also have the patience to explain things throughly for any question I’ve had regarding the repairs done to my car or my bill. This is an honest place with skilled professional mechanics who are very knowledgeable and take pride in their work. They've helped me out with diagnostics multiple times and have never tried to upsell me. I like to work on my own cars and these guys have given me sound advice over and over again. Recently they've talked me out of throwing parts at an issue and Lo and behold they were absolutely right. What I was certain was an alternator issue was not to be so, and their advice saved me a bunch of money and headache. They've worked on my girlfriends car many times and she has consistently told me how much she appreciates that they don't take advantage of her lack of knowledge about car repair. This is a place with actual professional lifer mechanics who are honest and have integrity their work. Trust them with your beemers or your standard daily driver.

In my 14 years in Arizona I have owned a 2001 BMW 540i (automatic). Currently I own a 1997 BMW 528i (automatic) and a 2002 BMW 530i (manual). Thanks to Jeff and Daniel my cars are perfectly imperfect (a very good thing). I have been very fortunate to have had Owner Jeff Bonifas work on all my cars. He is thorough, super knowledgeable, and goes beyond the call of duty with his work. Jeff will address all your concerns and needs. He is honest and sincere when letting you know what a car needs or what a car could use. A lot of shops charge exorbitant fees. This is not the case with Scott's Motor Werks. Their pricing is competitive and within reason. Most importantly, they do great work. I encourage you to take your car to Jeff and his staff because I am very confident they will not disappoint.

Most importantly, I’m not being compensated in any way for this review and to be completely transparent, I know Jeff, but that didn’t warrant my favorable review. First off, Jeff and his family are very likable, so just know, this is a family business. Second off, I told him to give me a fair price, but not a price you would give to a friend because you need to make a living too. Jeff gave me an extremely great price that I was extremely happy with and he was as well. I even had to give him more than what he asked for, because I know what a great deal it was compared to a Harley shop. Now for what I had done. I had a 2008 Harley that I had bought and never ridden because it wouldn’t start, so I had no way to get the bike over there except rent a truck and trailer. Jeff offered; almost demanded to come get my bike himself and wanted to not even charge me for doing it. That saved me about $75 plus, for me not dealing with truck and trailer rental. Jeff came to my house and loaded it mostly himself, I just guided it. After getting the bike to his shop, he found out the bike needed a camshaft position sensor, gas was bad because of the seal on the gas gauge, injectors needed cleaning and motor mounts were worn to the point of obsessive shaking. Ok, fine, that is what a mechanic at a shop is supposed to do right, tell you what is wrong and fix it? Well, he not only fixed the bike, he topped it off by having it washed and shining like new. Mind you, it sat for over a year and never ran, so it was full of dust and whatever else was on it. That is above and beyond Jeff, so thank you. I’ll be coping and pasting this review to Google reviews. FYI, I will be using you for more auto and bike needs in the future. Thank you again for your top notch and above and beyond service. PS, please read all the reviews on their website. For the last 9 years, Jeff has been mentioned on the reviews(since 2015) and only has 4 and 5 stars, nothing lower. Only 3 of the ratings are 4 stars, but if you read those 4 star reviews, they are great reviews, but some people just can’t give a 5 star review. Peace.

I was in despair after receiving an estimate over $5K from Mini in North Scottsdale. The owner, Scott, took a look at everything the dealership was going to do and found most was unnecessary and provided honest feedback and a very competitive estimate of repairs necessary at a fair and honest price. I currently have a BMW convertible and have been coming to scott's motorworks for over ten years. They do an excellent job and treat you respectfully.
