Within the past few months I have dealt with three other local body shops as well as this one in the Des Moines area and shouldn't have waisted my time with the others. The advice of Richard at Scotty's saved me so much money by listening to what I needed to fix my 17 year old van on a budget and not have to pay what I didn't want or need. He told me how to save money by securing my own used parts and they put it all together in a day at a very reasonable cost. I was very pleased with the result. If I have a need for body shop services in the future, I will head for Scotty's to save both time and money. I highly recommend them!

At Scotty's, they go above and beyond for their customers, and it shows. Their staff are kind, honest, and candid. They gave a very reasonable estimate and discussed expectations for my vehicle repair. When the repair was more complicated than originally planned, they honored their estimate and did not raise the repair price. On top of that, they provide an excellent shuttle service and wash your car before returning the vehicle to you.

I want to start off by saying that I had a flawless experience with Scotty's on University. I had damage done to my front end bumper that was still lingering from the Derecho storm and from a family member accidentally side swiping me. When I dropped off my car Scotty's had my rental car and everything ready for a smooth transition. Then the work was done extremely quickly and I was back into my car in under a week. Lastly, the car was detailed inside and out. I mean look at how good my car looks! You can see your own reflection!! Ask for Rob and he will take care of you from beginning to end.

Great place to take your cat after a bender..they did a great job on the my ex SIL SUV. Fair with the prices too. Also in this general area on Tuesday Mornings the Sally Truck pulls up in there to hand out free breakfast and possibly maybe a sweet and coffee. Ya'all....make a donation to the Salvation Army if you can. Or.. maybe you can find time to volunteer for a few hours..its for a great cause.

Our Honda Accord had a large dent on the crease of the trunk and damage to the driver side doors front and rear. The work was done as prescribed. Marching paint and superb body work all around. The trunk looked like new. The detail work was so good my wife said it smelled and looked like it did off the showroom floor. They actually sorted loose items in the trunk and nearly bagged wverything..We won't ever go anywhere else. I don't think their service can be matched.
