Great staff. They go above and beyond to ensure you're safe for the road. I have lots of nerves when it comes to going to the mechanic. John and Melissa took the time to explain what work I needed and why, plus they took photos to prove things needed fixing. Super big help for someone who knows little about cars.

And the part I love they show you videos and pictures of the things they find on your vehicle and send it to your phone with pricing so you’ll know They don’t pressure you or anything which I love, and they’re very honest and get to know you! This is the 1st auto shop I truly trust n personal love the people working there. They have an advantage mechanical inspection of what's high alert and yellow for next to be serviced and green for all that is good with photos. I love this idea. This crew is super professional. They diagnosed my vehicle quickly, emailed an estimate for approval, fixed my car perfectly! They even offered me a ride home while they serviced my vehicle. Scranton Auto was great to me. After looking for about a week for a garage to go over two of my vehicles an 04 Escalade and 06 King Ranch. It was only Scranton Auto that would handle it just a couple days before Christmas. I stopped into Scranton Auto about lunchtime, they agreed to do the work. I had Jordans tow the vehicles in there and by dinner time they had the answers I needed. I found out about Scranton Auto through AutoBahn title and tag. I actually met Melissa (from Scranton Auto) while I was getting a copy of the title for the King ranch. She was on the phone with me and texted me every step of the way. Authorizations for the work the bad news about what was wrong with then up to, and including finding a salvage yard to help me get rid of the junkers. My repairs and inspections were done in less than an afternoon. Boots and Hank salvage picked up the junker and gave me a check on Christmas Eve. That includes a snowstorm that slowed the tows down. I’d recommend Scranton Auto for a timely no BS evaluation and inspection of your vehicles as well as fast friendly repair with solid reliable information during the whole process.

As parents to a college student in Scranton, we needed to quickly find a repair shop when she had emergency car trouble. A quick Google search sent us to Scranton Auto Service. The positive reviews impressed us immediately so, we had her car towed there. They were efficient communicators and had her car checked over before the end of the day ( and it was towed there at 4pm!) They diagnosed the problem, quoted us honest prices and sent invoices electrically ( which is great when your college kid lives in another state!) The work was completed in a timely manner and came in under the quoted price. We are thrilled to have found a reliable, honest and dependable auto shop that we can rely on as needed to keep our daughter’s vehicle safe and dependable while she is attending college.

Ive often been to Scranton Auto Service since 2016, for 3 different used cars. The owner, Tommy, runs an efficient shop with the best service available at the fairest prices! John, in the office, goes above and beyond scheduling, as he looks out for the customer's interests...and John is up to date and fastidious in assessing and repairing, adjusting, replacing anything and everything that needs attention to your car, along with Tommy's assessments and working with him to do the best job! They treat their customers like family and Tommy thinks of his employees as family, as well.

Been coming here for 5 plus years. Scranton Auto Service is hands down one of the best auto shops in Scranton. Tom and Jon is honest, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain what’s actually needed—no upselling or pressure. The work is done right, price is ok and turnaround time is always reasonable. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, but this is one of those places. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, straightforward auto service.
