It’s easy to find a good mechanic but it’s hard to fine one who is honest. Dave is both of these and I couldn’t recommend a better shop to take your car to. He has fixed problems on my car that has puzzled others. His rates are very fair and he is also quick at getting the job done. Highly recommend.

I love Dave. I've known him since before he opened this shop. He's been working on my vehicles for years and he's trustworthy. Trustworthiness in a mechanic is everything and unfortunately too rare. He spent years working on ambulances, so he understands the need for his work to be reliable. Prices are fair and repair time-frames are reasonable. Can't ask for more. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good mechanic. Also, he's a mouthy marine, so don't try acting crazy here. He's lovable, but won't tolerate the Karen's. All the more reason to come here, for me.

Dave was great! I have a Ford Explorer that is no longer under warranty and needed to get some general repairs done which I have been avoiding. The dealership wanted me to wait 3 weeks and keep my car for a few days. Dave banged it out in one day. I couldn't be happier with their service. Mechanic was top notch. Not only great service you are also supporting veterans as well. Win/win. Highly recommend.

Finding a reliable and ethical mechanic is a hard find especially as a woman! If you’ve come across this then I am so happy to tell you that you have found the BEST mechanic ever! I was referred to Semper Fi through a friend and let me just tell you I am beyond grateful for these guys especially David! I have had the best experiences! Unfortunately this year I have had many car problems come up but David has been there to help every time. I made a mistake and went somewhere else. The other shop damaged my car while working on it. They returned it to me broken. The refused to pay for it. That's a whole other story. Dave and Lynn are solid folks. Started coming here after not getting the best of service at other repair shops. So far I have taken 3 different vehicles here. 2 from my company fleet and my personal vehicle. All 3 times they have been honest, up front, and quick. They repaired the problems the first time. They only take the vehicles they can work on so you may have to wait a day to drop off your vehicle but when you drop it off you know they will be working on it, not it just sitting there. 2 of the 3 times they had my vehicle back same day completely fixed. The 3rd time they did keep it 1 extra day for testing. I highly recommend these folks.

I can't say enough good things about Dave and his crew. I had a different shop give me an estimate of $3000 to fix my air conditioner. A friend recommended Semper Fi and Dave diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes. Three hours and $668.00 later, I was down the road with my vents blowing 39°. Semper Fi saved the day! Completed an honest inspection and repaired my newly purchased 2005 Avalanche after I got the runaround at RoadForce Tech (RFT). Luckily the shops are 2 streets apart so I paid the ransom to RFT for their “labor” and drove it over to Semper Fi. RFT said I needed new brakes then later that day said “actually we aren’t certified to do brakes” (spoiler- Semper Fi reported my brakes were nearly new and certification isn’t needed). RFT said I should get an oil change- I literally had one 3 weeks before. When I asked if the oil and filter didn’t look new- they said oh it looks fine, just what he always recommends. Can’t make this up. RFT said my ball joint job was only $270 in parts (Maybe in 1995??) They then kept adding more parts to be purchased as the day went on. That is when I pulled the plug and got it out of there. $380 to improperly inspect my ride and put the wheels back on. Aye caramba. Semper Fi replaced the ball joints and addressed my AC only turning on when it’s turned to 3. Took care of a belt (RFT never found it). Daylight bulb was out- check! They installed new tires and balanced them- didn’t try to pressure me into new rims like the trip to Discount. (The tires were from 2016 so I knew it was needed, Discount lost me for life after that experience.) With Semper Fi- every step was explained, quoted and communicated for my approval! Zero pressure and a cold Pepsi in the waiting room :) I’m so thankful to have found an honest shop again as my mechanic had retired. Bonus points- Semper Fi felt so bad about the grift at RFT they comped labor to even it out. 25 ⭐️

I didn't know him before this and he got his tools to fix the problem. I hit the jackpot finding an honest mechanic in Las Vegas! His staff are all great. The Situation: On Saturday, January 17, 2026, my sister-in-law called regarding an issue with her car. After a remote diagnosis, it was clear the vehicle needed immediate professional attention. This vehicle is a handicap-accessible van, essential for my sister-in-law who has MS, and is the primary transportation for my niece attending a local university. As their lifeline to the outside world, a quick and reliable repair was critical. Living on the East Coast while they are in Las Vegas made finding a trustworthy shop a challenge. Finding Semper Fi Auto Repair: After researching several shops, I discovered Semper Fi Auto Repair. I read all 58 of their Google Maps reviews, and one story in particular resonated with me—a customer in a similar long-distance situation praised their honesty, respect, and service. That review gave me the confidence to contact them. My Experience: I called Semper Fi Auto Repair on Monday, January 19, 2026, and spoke with Courtney. I explained the situation and requested a quote. Courtney professionally asked for the VIN to ensure the correct parts were ordered. After I called back with the VIN and requested upgraded parts, she prepared a quote within five minutes. The estimate was very reasonable. I asked if they could arrange towing and incorporate the cost into the repair quote to simplify the process. Courtney understood perfectly and accommodated the request without hesitation. The vehicle was picked up and delivered to the shop on Tuesday, January 20th. That same day at 4:27 PM EST, Courtney contacted me to report a faulty fuel injector and asked for approval to replace it, which I immediately granted. By 6:37 PM EST, I received a text that all repairs were complete and the van was ready. I scheduled pickup for Wednesday, January 21st, and made payment easily through a secure link. Conclusion: It is difficult to fully express my appreciation for the magnificent service, clear communication, attention to detail, and patience they showed while navigating different time zones. Semper Fi Auto Repair turned a stressful, long-distance situation into a seamless and trustworthy process. I have since saved Semper Fi Auto Repair as a favorite in my phone. When my sister-in-law’s nurse asked for a shop recommendation, I confidently referred them to Semper Fi. This is the place to go in Vegas for auto repair. Semper Fi was recommended to me by multiple folks who drive 4x4s and David has been a lifesaver for my 4x4 Sprinter van and my daily driver. Anyone who has been around a Sprinter knows how temperamental they can be and how hard it is to find a shop you can genuinely trust, especially if you take yours off-road or disappear into the mountains for weeks at a time like I do. David and his team treat my van like it’s their own, they catch issues early, explain everything clearly, and make sure it’s ready for whatever I throw at it. The work is to an extremely high quality and David stands behind it. I just wrapped up a six-week overlanding trip from Vegas to Montana and back, and the van ran flawlessly the entire time thanks to their work. If you rely on your vehicle, this is the shop you want in your corner.
