Was recommended by John who works at advanced auto part time and this garage full time! John seemed trustworthy; however $350 later, the vehicle still has the same issue! Furthermore, they charged me $30 to replace 1 windshield spray nozzle, which did not fix the issue, so i bought a better pair (both nozzles) for $15 and installed them myself in less than 5 mins! Price gauging at its finest!!! Note: my original invoice was $250, i asked them to complete a few more items: replace tail light, windshield fliud nozzles, and top off all fluids! Only thing completed was 1 nozzle and my invoice was $350! I asked them for an explanation and received silence!!!!!!

I’ve been going to Semuta’s for 25 years. Always great service. A while back, I was at Weist Hardware looking for a unique rubber belt that broke on one of our machines at work, and not having much luck. Dave Semuta walked in, and asked how I was doing. I told him about my situation, and showed him the broken belt. He said, come on down to the shop, I have something that might work. He gave me two belts to try. One fit perfectly! (I think it’s still on the machine to this day) I took the other belt we didn’t use back, and tried to pay for the belt we did use. Dave wouldn’t take my money.

They do great work, and guarantee there work, they are great about getting you in the shop and then back on the road quickly. They have experienced mechanics with lots of years under their belt. A good mechanic who you can trust is hard to find so and I am lucky to have found Semuta's! I give them 5 stars all day and highly recommend them,

Took my car in for a slow leak in a tire. They pulled a wire staple out and patched it up. Two weeks later the same tire developed another slow leak. Took it back in thinking maybe the patch didn't hold. Turns out they pulled a roofing nail out of it this time. When I went in to pay they told me there was no charge because my luck was so bad I was due for something good to happen. Made me laugh and they created a customer who will definitely use and recommend them in the future. Very nice gesture that they didn't have to do.

I needed my car fixed and called around for quotes. My family members had used this garage in the past, so I made an appointment after the woman said she had already ordered the parts in anticipation of me going with them. I received their quote and let them know I was shopping around, so she dropped the price. After I dropped it off, I waited a day to see how they were progressing and the woman said she had just ordered the part that day, contrary to what she stated the day before about ordering the part ahead of time. Then, when the car was ready, the price went up from the quoted because they had to put fluids back in. The job was done quickly, but I would prefer honesty in an auto shop.

These folks have been helping me keep my older cars going for 15 years. Last evening I dropped off a 20 year old foreign made vehicle with no appointment because of a sudden loss of power steering. They had my car back in action by 1:00 today, with several phone calls in the interim for communication. Good to have a mechanic that you trust, and I trust Semutas.

I want to support small business and have a good relationship with my local garage. Trying that with Semutas was a mistake. Last year when I took my car here it took three different repairs to track down what the issue was. That happens, it wasn't fun having my car stall in traffic after being told it's probably fixed, but that's not my issue. During that process the wrong parts were ordered which extended the repairs almost a week. Turns out that repair wasn't the issue either but I still waited, and paid and burnt all my time off for it. In the end they were super nice and obviously mortified by the slip up so I wasn't upset. I even took my fiances car for inspection and oil change later. Mistake. The drain plug fell out of my fiances car on the highway. The drain plug fell out, dumped all the oil in a big hurry, and caused the engine to seize before I could make it up the next off ramp. Semutas was the last to touch that plug. In fairness the oil change was several months ago. It's possible they did nothing wrong, but I wount be giving them the trust to try again. 0/2 is enough for me to move on. If y'all want to turn a $60 oil change into a 5k engine swap or a $100 drive shaft sensor into a $1400 pump replacement this may be your place.

Semutas did very good work on my truck, for some time my airbags on my ram have been failing me and they were able to diagnose it for half the price then a dealer would and were able to take good care of me and do the work for like half the price then a dealer would charge me and their price for a diagnostic goes into the price for the work which was awesome of them to do! Recently I had a problem with a different truck of mine and they are hooking me up! They’ll definitely keep getting my business 100%

This is my third year living here after moving from DC, and I can honestly say Semutas Auto Repair has been one of the best finds since relocating. They’ve worked on both my 2021 GMC and my Jeep, and every experience has been outstanding.
