My daughter asked for a diagnosis on her Silverado. They found nothing. So she spent 2600.00 on her truck on having other things updated. When we picked up the truck it was WORSE then when we brought it in. So we went to Rileys and they did a quick diagnostic. Temperature needed replaced. Truck is shaking making noise and she's concerned on driving it. All this money and it's worse. What's funny about all this...my daughter wanted to be sure to have Andrew because he was responsible in bringing the truck back, letting her know what was going on, etc. Horrible! Horrible! Still not working.

Great service, very friendly employees, very clean sale floor and waiting area. Can't say enough great thing about this Dealer. I've been doing business here for about 30 years now. There is no way you could get me to even think about going anywhere else. Stopped back in my happy place. You cannot BUT be happy when ever your here among friends. Great service, very friendly service that makes you feel like family. Doesn't get any better than that, I'm telling you!!!!!!

I paid $180 for Gilleland to diagnose a known issue with the side detection module. I was quoted $847 for the repair. Another appointment was scheduled to fix the module. I live 30 minutes away. I brought the car in and left it there. I received a call - my part was used in another vehicle so mine was not fixed. I scheduled another appointment, drove 3o minutes left my car there again. I had to call to follow up - they ordered the wrong part and could not fix my car (one day before a long road trip) Gilleland told me they would cover the part and I'd pay the labor. After the road trip, I brought the car in the 3rd time and it was fixed. I was billed $778. They had the car for 2.5 hours. This seemed expensive for just labor. I asked for an itemization of the bill and they said they accidentally billed me for a diagnosis again, but didnt provide an itemized bill. This did not seem genuine and I am disappointed.

They seemed like it was inconvenient that I was there and I got the distinct impression they were just too busy for me!! I used to really like Gilleland but they have changed and not for the better. The parts guy was great!! The rest of my time there was me feeling uncomfortable and like I said the impression that I was unwanted there and was just an inconvenience was very strong!! No thanks for the future. There are plenty of other dealerships out there to go to who want and need the business and appreciate their customers!!

Bought “bumper to bumper” warranty which unfortunately did not cover tpms. Rear view camera which was warrantied and replaced did not last more than 3 weeks before having same issues again. Grainy/static footage.

Brought our Chev Volt (towed 78 miles) to Gilleland for an important repair - to troubleshoot 'propulsion reduced' message. The car needed a new part, which seemed to be in short supply. Gilleland was able to obtain the part and we had the Volt back in about a week. We know that other Volt owners had a much longer wait for the same problem, so we were relieved. Is great to have the Volt back. We were quite concerned.

HORRIBLE experience. Where do I begin…. I purchase a used truck from here and all was good. I found a few issues the next day with this vehicle and immediately called my salesman…. No response. Called again the next day and talked with him and was told he would get it taken care of. No response for week. I called multiple times in the coming weeks with no response. Decided to bring the truck in to service to get everything checked out. After having to pull teeth I was able to get it in to get looked at only for them to say I am liable for the cost because I am now outside my “warranty.” After asking to talk to management was able to have them cover a transmission fluid flush. A couple days later I picked the truck up only to find more issues and they claimed it has nothing wrong with it although, there is violent vibration while driving down the highway. I went back to my salesman to see if I can trade this truck in for a different on the lot. After HOURS of waiting for them to look up information to see the numbers we over heard the big man at the desk say “hold your horses things take time.” So, frustrated, I left and said call me with the numbers only to never hear from them again. I am now stuck with a truck that vibrates down the road and I want nothing to do with it. Long story short, DO NOT use this dealership.

I had a great overall experience with Gilleland service center, especially with my service manager Andrew. When I brought my car in initially for general maintenance, the service tech found an oil leak and was able to get it repaired completely under warranty, including a car rental at no cost. Then a month later when I had a mechanical failure about 40 miles away, I was able to reach Andrew five minutes before closing and he stayed late to help assist me in setting up for a tow back to the shop and lined me up with a dealer rental, all covered under my GM warranty with not one penny out of my pocket. Then when my parts were back ordered, Gilleland provided me brand new dealer rental cars to drive in the meantime. All in all, they treated me right throughout the entire ordeal and I appreciate the work that was done, with an extra shoutout again to Andrew for keeping me posted during my cars downtime and making sure everything was in order. Would absolutely consider going back for future service.

Went in for an oil change. Unfortunately, a technician did not replace the oil dipstick fully, and we ended up with an airflow sensor fault which took some time for us to figure out and clear the check engine light. I am assuming it was the raised oil dipstick that caused the issue as it has not happened again.

I had my 2023 Bolt EUV towed to Gilleland Chevrolet on Saturday, 12/13, with a bad auxiliary transmission fluid pump and returned on Monday with the key. The car was still under the bumper-to-bumper warranty. I was given an appointment for two weeks later. I received no offer for a loaner vehicle, no idea if it would even be diagnosed sooner so the part could be ordered, and no communication whatsoever during the two weeks, even when I emailed to ask if it would be diagnosed sooner. The pump was replaced at the scheduled time two weeks later. Gilleland clearly needs more EV techs if they want my business in the future. I have now had the same pump replaced twice under warranty and was unable to drive my car for a total of 5 weeks. That is unacceptable. EDIT: I spoke with the service manager and he assured me that they are in the process of training more techs for EV work (at least 3 more, I think?). He also offered to pay for my tow, which was appreciated. As my luck would have it, my car acted up again two weeks later and they worked hard to get it in and diagnosed. Changing from two to four stars.
