5/1/2019, I arrived at the gas station at 14717 N Northsight Blvd Scottsdale, AZ 85260. I parked my vehicle at the gas pump and walked into the gas station to utilize the facilities . Afterwards, I went back outside utilized my shell rewards card and debit card to obtain gas. My debit card began the authorization, the gas station pump did not reach my gas tank so I needed to pull up my vehicle. I pulled up my vehicle to align with the gas station pump attempted to authorize my debit card again it declined 2x which left me puzzled since I had more than enough to cover the gas station transaction . I proceeded to check my bank account which was at $0.00, the initial pre-authorization drained my entire bank account. BIG PROBLEM A. The authorization that took all of the funds in my checking account did not consider I got $0.00 in gas. B. My vehicle was almost on E= EMPTY . C. Barely had any gas to get back to the Mayo clinic for my 3rd appointment in the day let alone not enough gas to get home. I proceeded to tell the gas station attendants I did not receive gas (RECEIVED $0.00) in gas and the authorization drained my entire bank account. The gas station attendants were cold and UN-sympathetic as if I was bothering them with their business transnational error. The attendants were unsympathetic emphasis on "CALL YOUR BANK" and "CALL OR CORPORATE". Considering varying circumstances as for one like myself who is not from Arizona, I have no family members that can just swing by the gas station to help me out of a situation. To add ICING ON THE CAKE I had closed all of my credit cards earlier in the year. My bank needed a letter or an email reflecting I truly did not receive any gas so they could lift the authorization which would allow me to have funds immediately available. The gas station manager or the gas station employee who had 25% of initiative was worthless essentially at the role and very inconsiderate considering the fact that it-twas the gas station error that left someone stranded. However, I did not got paid until later on in the evening so I had to just sit around in my car until my paycheck hit my checking account. I will never shop or purchase gas at a Shell especially a Shell gas franchise owned by Jackson's. I immediately cut up my shell rewards card after my experience. Why go out of my way to only go to Shell and display brand loyalty when Shell looks at each individual just as another transaction while displaying a high level of unemphatic responses when it was the gas station transaction error.

You and your car will enjoy this highend place - Jackson's gas & car wash. Clean and friendly. Basic wash to Car detailing. Express wash or hand dried. Free vacuums. Fresh pizza available daily. I've seen Royals Royce, Mercedes Benz, Cadillac, Tesla and other very expensive vehicles roll through the touch-less washing process looking fine.

Tried to get cash back. They stated that they can't do that when buying gas so they had to do a separate transactions and made me buy something. So I bought a pack of gum and stated to the guy before the transaction went through that he needs to add the cash back. He stated that I will have that pop up for me...well it didn't so now I have to go somewhere else because these people don't know what they are doing. Stay away from this place.

The whole reason people pay at the pump is to get the receept promptly without waiting in line in the summer heat. This gas station did not provide a receipt at the pump.

The people in the convenience store are always very polite. However, they generally have some of the most expensive gas prices in Phoenix. You can look this up and verify what I am stating. The nice people are keeping me from going with a 1 star

The lady behind the counter is fun, the gentlemen that receive you at the car wash are courteous and respectful. Only problem I had was, after it was claimed that my car was clean, the windows were streaked and there was a weird film all over my car. When they went to wipe down a few sections again, the man in the burgundy shirt, left two huge hand prints on my fender. Was not worth the $22 spent with tip. There was still a weird white film on the car after I left... i just said forget it.

The tires on my Tesla were low and there was no air machine in the area. I pulled up to the service station and they filled up my tires for free. The manager was very friendly and helpful. They refused payment for the service and I was impressed enough by their courteousness to leave this review.

Writing this endearing review to give props to the outstanding and thoughtful customer service and assistance I received by Devin who was a huge blessing in a time of vehicle servicing need. I went into fill up, and also noticed my tire light was illuminated. I pulled over thereafter to the servicing department and this charming young man (Devin) offered his invaluable assistance. He checked my tire, confirmed that it was low, put some air in it and offered some sound and practical advice on how to proceed with purchasing another tire which I did elsewhere immediately. Although I have roadside assistance wisdom averted having to utilize and pure happenstance that the light came on at that exact moment and I got the service I needed and then some which was extraordinary! Shell, please know what a wonderful employee you have in this young man who was warm, endearing, empathetic, professional and knowledgeable as his invaluable service/assistance alone gave me the security I needed to make it home on a wing and coupled with a little prayer of which I am deeply grateful for. Double the five stars as this was absolutely a ten-star and most deserving experience! Thank you Devin and wishing you all the best!

i rate this one star specifically because of my interaction with nick he had awful customer service everytime i come here it’s always good customer service better than other gas stations which why i come here but everytime i come nick has an attitude with me being rude and making me feel uncomfortable as a customer and think he needs to re learn his customer service other than that everytime i come here it’s good service and nothing to complain about and a good gas station
