These guys are awesome! I blew my spare tire on the side of the freeway by Escondido and just googled uses tires near me. I kinda have a specialty tire so I started to call around to shops that were around me. They were cheap, friendly on the phone and in person and fast. Seems to be a great family business! I showed up with the original tire and rim that blew and they mounted the new used tire on the wheel for me. I need other tires but I'm broke and Shorty's had a great price. It made the whole situation a lot less stressful for me. I will definitely be coming back here to get my other tires and any work I will need done on the car as well. Thanks for the great service Shorty's Tires! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of service or tires.

Shortys was more than accommodating Carlos went above and beyond in helping replace my tire someone else messed it up not there and when I went to buy a new tire they took MY ENTIRE WHEEL APART AN FIXED THE PROBLEM FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE AND IT WAS ALMOST FIVE O CLOCK highly recommended and very fair price will definitely be coming here from now on

So somebody slashed two of my tires and I got my car towed home. Then I took the tires off myself and I took them over to Shorty's he put the new tires on for me mounted balanced it was about 120 bucks. That part of it was fine and good. Then I took my car over there later because I needed to change one more tire. They changed the tire for me. And then when they put the new one on he grabbed the tire and he shook it violently and was like oh look there's a lot of play this is not good. So he's told me wait for like 45 minutes when they could do something about it he said either it's a ball bearing or they can fix it for cheap for 25 bucks for me. The problem turned out to be that the person that put the tire back on didn't tighten the lug nuts properly. And so he basically armed me for $25. Wouldn't let me take my car out without paying 25 bucks for the guy to tighten the lug nuts when it was their own incompetency in the beginning that created the problem.

Absolutely amazing people and work! Right from the beginning of arriving all men were super nice and helpful! My AAA Agent that came to help with my tire recommended i come here as it’s a mom & pop shop and won’t have outrageous “weekend” prices! My first time dealing with this issue and as soon as I arrived, they ALL helped me find the screws needed for my tire. They found it instead of me 😂 patched up my tire and leveled the rest and made sure they all worked as well! Truly the sweetest group of guys, recommending everyone come here!

Disappointed for 2 reasons. 1. I called ahead to make sure they had my tire and was told it was $25 a tire. When I arrived I was told it was $45 a tire. Could have been my error as I might have missed heard over the phone. 2. They charge 4% to use a credit or debit card. This is also a personal problem I face all the time. Cash is going away and we all use credit card most of the time. This should not be passed on to the customer. Raise your price on tires if the processing fee is hurting your profit. Satisfied for 1 reason. 1. The staff was happy and helpful and the owner explained why the tire was $45. Looks like a good quality used tire.
