My car had a flat tire, so I ran there directly because it was nearby, but I was forced to change the tire for 370 usd for 1 tire. Cut customers crossing the street so everyone pays attention The employee didn't know if he was intentionally cheating or not but asked me to pay in cash for a 370 usd tire. When my car had a flat tire nearby, I tried to run there

Horrible experience. I came in to do a tire rotation. I called before hand and arrived. I noticed my front two tires were starting to wear out. They told me it would be about 1 hour 30 mins. I arrived at 12:30 and i had a phone appointment at 1:10 pm so i stepped out. When i came back inside at 1:45 . One of the two employees told me i needed two new tires.. i told him i know and i will take care of it asap. that is why i wanted a tire rotation in the mean time. he tried to convince me like 4 times to change them now. I said no… i just came in for the tire rotaion. So he told me to wait… in the mean time while i waited.. like 3 customers complained to another employee-the one that took my keys to drop off my car.. two of those customers got mad and where rude to the employee. The way the employee responded, I thought to my self, that he could work a little bit on his customer service. When that same employee finally decides to hand me my keys. He told me “you are all set thank you”. At this point its already 2:10pm I asked him, “don’t i have to pay for the tire rotation,” he said, “ no you didn’t want new tires” i had to end the conversation shortly after that because you can tell he wasn’t having a good day and was being very sarcastic.. I personally dont like to give someone a hard time ect. Why didn’t the other employee tell me they where not gonna do a tire rotation if i need two new tires? Maybe I would have considered it then?? WOW. The employee even parked my car on the handy cap section. I dont have a placard for that. My overall review is that the two employees need to work on communication. The younger one however, i dont think he will last here. I called another place And they did confirm that tire shops cannot Do tire rotations If your tire is under a certain thread too low. That is what I call communication, that is how you could have convinced me To get those two new tires.

People at the counter are not truthful. I went in to change two tires and requested a front axle alignment but ended up paying $679. They added unnecessary charges such as brake inspection, hazard insurance, and multiple labor costs — even tire installation alone was nearly $285. This is outrageous. My tires were in bad condition; otherwise, I would never have had any work done at this place.

Location convenience is why my husband chose Skip’s and a couple of the service people we spoke to were nice. However, there have been many times we’ve tried to get an appointment but nobody answers the phone forcing us to drive down there. Additionally they do not call you when the car is ready. We have to drive over to find out and take a chance. A couple of times they weren’t open at opening hours in the morning. And I’ve owned my Jeep for 14 years and have had chrome rims on it with chrome stem caps the entire time until the first time I took it there to replace my tires. They were replaced with rubber caps leading me to believe somebody from the place took them. Not cool. They’ve got to do better than this .

Super slow service, brought the car in because of an emergency flat tire around 3 pm, was told it would be down by 5:30, ended up getting finished around 11:30 am the next morning. I received notifications all night from my car app because they left my car unlocked in their garage overnight. They did end up fixing the flat tire, but when I went to pick up my car, the inside was a mess. My trash cans were taken out and put on the floor, my back seats were adjusted forward, my grocery holder was moved from the trunk to the passenger seat, my grocery bags were all over the car, and weirdly another tire that wasn’t flat was deflated to 22 psi from 35. I have no idea what they were doing, thankfully nothing was missing, but would not recommend them, super unprofessional in their service

Very trustworthy and professional service. They explained the problem clearly and gave me a fair price before starting the repair. No unnecessary work. I’m very satisfied with the result and will definitely come back.

My tire was flat due to a metal. My tire was able to be repaired and because it was under warranty I had no cost. The team was courteous and a joy to talk with!

They are probably okay if you buy tiers so long as you don't need one patched. I brought in a tier to be patched and the service tech told me they don't patch tires over 5 years old. This tire was 6 years 3 months old 14 thousand miles on it and in good shape as can be seen in the pictures. I took my tier to a nother tire place and they patched it. Back inJuly of 2022 I spent $1,350 at Skips Tire installing new tires all around on my C-class RV. I put real low miles on that RV and when the 5 years is up there will be very little ware on the tred and acording to this service tech they won't patch the tires for me

Terrible customer service. Confirmed appointment but they tuned me away, saying they couldn’t take me at all. Warrantee issue, so I don’t know if that affected it at all, but clearly didn’t want business. Fortunately, other Skip’s sites have great customer service, so I’d recommend going to any other Skip’s. Avoid this site at all costs.

This was my first visit to Skip’s Auto Service for an alignment and tire rotation on my Tesla model 3, and the work was completed in just 1 hour and 20 minutes — amazing! I’ve had many bad experiences in the past due to long wait times, but Dan completely changed that for me. Excellent service.

Update #2: After voicing my concerns and opening a case number for the failure of a service technician to replace the engine oil cap, Monro’s (parent company) guest services stated I should work with their auto repair center to resolve my ongoing oil leak issue that resulted from their neglect. After having the vehicle for 3 days, I was told it was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, they didn’t find any oil leaks. Their diagnostic tests consisted of ‘idling the engine for a while followed by a visual inspection and another visual inspection after sitting overnight’. They didn’t bother to contact me during this period about their preliminary findings. Since they couldn’t do replicate the oil leak, further no further could be done. The service technician told me to bring the vehicle back if the oil leak persist. After driving for 3 miles to my home, I noticed oil spots appeared again on my just cleaned-up driveway. I did a simple internet search on how to detect engine oil leaks and found other possible causes (seals, gaskets, oil sensor). I contacted the service manager the next day and he was surprised to learn my vehicle was leaking oil after driving home. They checked the oil drain plug, oil filter, and engine oil cap for leakage and found no issues. He suggested to bring the vehicle back for further inspection and tests. As the saying goes ‘Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me’. This tire and auto repair center personnel maybe good at checking boxes and following their procedures but they lack the necessary critical thinking skills to diagnose engine issues resulting from their auto maintenance/repair failures. I have already lost the use of my vehicle for 6 days of this month to Skip’s auto repair center. I am not willing to lose more days while this shop attempts to resolve my engine and/or oil leak issues caused by their carelessness to reinstall the engine oil cap. I will contact Monro’s guest services about covering the cost of a third party auto repair shop to properly diagnose and repair the damage caused by this Skip’s tire and auto repair center neglect. Update #1: I received my vehicle after they performed ‘an engine wash, drained and fill oil, and test drove.’. They are of the opinion the vehicle’s engine did not suffer any damage after the oil loss while driving at hwy and freeway speeds for over an hour. Their visual inspection and road test maybe adequate but I have my concerns. Especially after I was told they didn’t initially create a work order and document any diagnostic findings and corrective actions for this issue. I had to ask them to document the activities prior to taking ownership of the vehicle. Unfortunately, I have already lost trust in this auto repair center personnel and their competency to complete one of their core automotive services after their failure to replace the engine oil cap. Initial: After a routine oil and filter change, I drove my vehicle at hwy and freeway speeds for over a 100 miles before I realized the engine oil cap was not replaced and it was missing. I now have a oil covered engine compartment and may have a damaged engine. Also, I now have an oil stained driveway to clean.

Their name says it all, this is the place to 'skip', unless you like wasting time and money. I bought a set of four new tires from 'Skips' last May. It took them *three* tries to get them installed correctly, as the passenger side rear would lose all air after a couple days. It was a huge inconvenience having to make an appointment, go back and leave the car only to have another flat the next day. Three times! Then a few weeks ago, I got a nail in that same problematic tire and brought it in for a patch. I was told my wife didn't buy the road coverage, so they charged me $50 to fix the tire, I wasn't happy, but I needed a working car, so I paid it. And guess what??? The next day that tire was flat again. So, I went back, and the tech told me it would be another $50 to fix. What?? The hadn't even 'fixed' it in the first place, the car only had 8 miles on the odometer, just the trip back and forth to the garage. And then he had the audacity to tell me I hadn't bought the tires with them at all, and they were probably much older than I was claiming. So, I walked out and took my car to a competent garage nearby. They fixed the incorrectly installed valve stem and showed me exactly what Skips had done wrong. When my wife heard my story, she called the corporate office, and guess what, they had the records of the new tires and that we HAD purchased that road coverage after all, so they kindly refunded the $50 charge for not fixing the tire. But believe me, I'll never be going back to Skips ever, EVER again, and I highly advise you do the same.

Went there for wheel alignment. It took 4 hours for alignment. But alignment was not done. Was charged for alignment. Reason given, back side arm needs replacement because there was no adjustment option available. On checking with other store, they were able to do the adjustment with existing arm, without any replacement. The mechanics here have almost no knowledge about vehicles. They are trained to report replacement of parts to make money, which don’t need replacements. Will never go to this store ever. And will not recommend this store to anyone.

I can’t recommend Skip’s Tire & Auto Repair Center enough! I went to several other shops for a tire sensor installation, and everyone turned me away saying they couldn't do it. Skip’s didn't hesitate. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and finished the job super fast. They kept me informed throughout the whole process so I knew exactly what was happening. At the end of the day, integrity matters, and these guys have it. I’ll definitely be sending my friends here for any future repairs!

I highly recommend Skips. I bought 4 new tires, had the two sway bar links replaced, & a wheel alignment. Dan, the manager, was friendly & very helpful. The price was fair & the work was completed in timely fashion. My vehicle now drives smoother & safer. Skips will continue to get my business in the future.
