My friends and I rented a Turo car. They informed us that they would not cover our flat tire because they felt it was our fault. Sky Auto Repair went above and beyond to help us and did a thorough investigation on the matter to find that the tire was both bald with a nail hole in it; hence the slow leak and flat tire. Thereafter, they worked efficiently to put the spare on then patch the tire. Thank you Sky Auto Repair for your professionalism and assistance. You saved us!

These guys used to be located in Kaimuki. They’ve moved locations but the service, integrity, honesty, and quality remain very high. This is the auto mechanic you can trust! They replaced the timing belt and water pump on our Acura. They found the crank shaft seal also needed replacing and for all that work still charged less than the dealer quoted for only the belt. Our whole family LOVES Sky Auto Repair. They make us feel like family. We will never use another mechanic.

I cant express the gratitude I have with working with Sky Auto. They are amazing, got me in last minute and fixed everything I needed above and beyond my expectations. Communication was amazing and they really show they care. Im so happy to have my van back on the road after I put oil in the gas tank 😩 Newbie Japanese van for me but I know now lol. Thanks again Sky Auto to you and your crew. They also fixed my back latch even though the parts were no longer made by replacing with comparable part from parts car that fixed it. Yayyy. Reached out about repairs on an old vintage MK3 Supra. These guys were first class and professional from start to finish. Good prompt communication with recommendation of the most needed repairs throughout process. They didn’t try to pressure into unneeded repairs, and pricing was fair throughout. I’ve had 2/3 good experiences with Sky auto repair for my 1999 Suzuki carry Kei truck. I had my coolant tubes fixed and my alternator fully replaced with a new one. On my 3rd visit to fix a loud squealing noise of my alternator belt. A lack of detail and accountability was shown from the staff. They were able to replace my alternator belt and so I go in to pick up my truck from service, all is good (Matt whom assisted me through this whole process). As I leave sky auto and drive onto Nimitz for 10mins, I notice my truck to lose power and the gauge cluster starts to fluctuate. I manage to pull into a parking lot before my truck loses all of its power. I call Matt and Sky auto to let them know that I just picked up my car and left their service location - trying to figure out what is wrong after they just said to me the car looks good, when obviously it wasn’t. I asked if I can get a tow service to pick up my car since there is obviously a problem. Matt tells me that they won’t be able to cover the tow service although I literally just picked up my car from them 10mins ago. This is where the lack of accountability on their side made itself known. It’s unfair to tell a customer that u can’t accommodate a tow service after I just left ur lot and the car still has problems. I end up jump starting the car and managed to bring it back to sky auto on my own. They look at the car and its alternator to see what could be the issue…turns out the mechanic just forgot to plug in a wire that connected the alternator to another connector that supplies voltage. It was just a simple plug. Not only was this a lack of detail on their end but it put me in danger while driving the car from pick up. Let alone, imagine if I called a tow service, that would’ve came out of my own pocket because what? The mechanic forgot to simply plug something in. That’s where I was frustrated and sky auto fell short. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Don’t get me wrong sky auto is great at what they do but I hope they can be more accountable and pay attention to the details to ensure the cars they service are as safe as possible.

Friendly, communicative, and customer satisfaction driven. Recently had my alternator replaced on my 96 Suzuki Jimny. From ordering parts, scheduling and service- 5 stars all around. My a/c was also having troubles and they were able to effectively diagnose and repair the issue. They didn’t over sell me on things and the cost was very reasonable considering the older vehicle. I even needed help finding tires and they took the time to measure my lugs, but also help me finding ways to get affordable tires on island. Took my Range Rover here to get my new rims and tires installed. A lot of other shops didn’t want it touch or had the capability of mounting tires into custom 22” rims. The techs here were knowledgeable and got my new rims on with no issues. The price was also surprisingly reasonable a recommended this shop to anyone.

Sky Auto was honestly amazing. They were willing to install customer‑purchased parts and provided a detailed report of the work completed. They replaced the rack and pinion on my ’07 Jeep Liberty Sport, and—coincidentally—the Jeep needed an alignment afterward. They were able to correct a bad alignment job that Goodyear had done just three weeks earlier. Overall, I’m very happy and would 100% recommend them.

Simply outstanding service! I can't express how great it is find a reliable, and honest repair shop. John, the manager, and Po, one if the talented mechanics, are professional and courteous. I am no stranger to a wrench, and I can tell you these guys are good. And more importantly, you can count on them to do a good job, without having them hand you a list of unneeded "recommended" repairs and services. They handle domestic and foreign vehicles with no problem. And no, I'm not related to them, or work for them. Just a lucky person who managed to find a fantastic shop! So if you are a local that needs a mechanic that you and your family can count on, or are military, and not familiar with the area, this is where you want to go!
