I live in Virginia Beach but was in Lynchburg when I needed my alternator replaced. After calling around, Slayton’s Automotive was the only shop in town able to fix it the same day. I was able to get home but unfortunately the new alternator had an issue right out of the box. Evan, the owner, happened to be enjoying Virginia Beach for the weekend and he took time to handle it himself. Within three hours, he found the same alternator locally and fixed my car right in my driveway. I can’t thank Evan enough for his willingness to make things right and his outstanding customer service allowed me to avoid dealing with another repair shop locally. Evan was quick, friendly and down-to-earth and I highly recommend this father-son auto repair shop. Thank you, Evan, for going the extra mile!
