I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone they will steal your money and be very disrespectful about it a job that takes two weeks took him 2 months and when I received my car it wasn’t even put back together. I’ve witnessed employees leave the job because of the type of character he has with society be careful there is way better mechanics out there do your research first one star doesn’t even justify the work Karl would do for you!!!

I thought these guys were great until my car ran out of oil within a month of my oil change. This company literally blew my motor and now my car is useless. I had another mechanic check my vehicle for oil leaks and found nothing. This place is a scam, you’ll leave with your car in worse condition than the way you bring it in.

Update 04/03/2023. Visited Sledge again last Friday. Karl fixed a problem I had 11 months ago, no questions asked. He is a man of his word and you don't find that very often any longer. I'll continue to be a repeat customer. ( end of update) I am very happy to have found Karl. I recently moved to Kissimmee. Sledge Auto offers very fair prices, and the business is VERY customer service oriented. I'll be back whenever I have the need for auto repair services.

I had a problem with my air they charged me for a censor that they claimed was the problem the problem persisted they had me there for 2 hours running another diagnostic couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car called me a whole 2 weeks later talking about they finally figured out what was wrong with the car and wanted to charge me for that job when they didn't even fix the original problem. I tell everyone I know not to use them. I now go to tire kingdom because of the experience I had with them I am afraid to trust any small shop mechanics. Answer to your reply it was your shop and I didn't say you kept my car for 2 weeks I said you ran a diagnostic for 2 hours and couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car then called me 2 weeks later and told me something else was wrong with it and tried to charge me for another job

I had a leak in the power steering system and was looking at a complicated parts replacement of the system. At the shop, I discussed the issue with owner Karl and he was able to repair the hydraulic line without needing to do a complete replacement. By the way, the repair was road tested within a week of the repair and driven 1200 miles in 20 hours to NYS with no issues at all. Well done Karl, I would trust your services in the future, thank you

Service is excellent. Given all explanation to why the system failed. He try to avoid an expense on the parts if a cleaning will do, but after doing it and having partial results, a complete change was necessary and have had not a problem again. They had my vehicle for over a month for something that could’ve taken a few days. I had lots of trouble contacting him and got nothing but excuses as to why I couldn’t even get status updates. When I finally did get my vehicle back I checked my fluids and the oil stick was bone dry. Overall, just not the best experience. Part 2 of my Sledge Experience: They have now had my car for an additional 2 weeks due to them messing up something else that was perfectly fine.. Karl is RUDE and very unprofessional. I’ve been told “I don’t want to have your car or anything to do with you.” By far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with ANY mechanic. I wouldn’t recommend them to a fly with a broken wing. Part 3: After the additional 2 weeks I got me vehicle back and again, my oil was BONE DRY again. If there was a negative star option, I’d definitely use it.

I can’t say enough how awesome Carl, Lissa, & Gustavo are! They have worked on my AC in the past and today they did a tuneup, replace my ignition coils and a oil change. The price and service is truly amazingly awesome. It truly is hard to find a trustworthy mechanic but they are the best. They were half the cost than everyone else. I have a Hyundai Accent that needed the timing belt replaced, not an easy job as there isn't much space to work with. The job was done on time and under the quote cost. He replaced exactly what was needed and maintained contact throughout the job. Reasonable rate too, it cost only 15 more an hour than if I had rented a bay to do the work myself. Karl the owner of Sledge Automotive has never let me down. He is honest and tells the ways you can save money. He even allows you buy the part and he can install it. Thank you for finding out some of the problems with my car and didn’t over charge me. In fact,I had to bring my car in the next day, and Karl had my car the whole day trying to pin point the issues. He narrowed it down for me and didn’t change me a dime. But unfortunately, he was going on vacation and recommended me another honest mechanic in which I had to go to so they can finish the rest of my repairs. You can trust Karl in all he does.
