The most professional encountered I've had in a long time. It honestly made my day! (I didn't expect my day's highlight to be a smog test haha.) The staff is very friendly, patient and speaks very clearly. Costs are comminicated upfront and no surprises. The place is definitely very well thought out: podium for writing info and signing, shaded desks/chairs for waiting. The staff was very efficient. The entire process was around 15m. After the test, the staff patiently explained the process he went through and what we would expect in dmv later. It was all very helpful info. This will be my go-to place from now on. 11/10 if I can rate that. Highly recommended.

Who would have thought getting your car smog tested would be a great experience (not me)... Eric (the owner) is quite possibly the nicest guy you can find! Knowledgeable, polite, and competent. While he was performing the test, he offered me and the other customer waiting bottled water (complementary) and kept me informed on the progress. He asked a few pertinent questions regarding my vehicle and was professional in every way. I highly recommend anyone needing this service to drop by and experience the best guy in this business!! Eric is a really nice person. I recently moved to California and I wasn’t aware of most of the rule. Eric explained me everything during my smog check. I got both my vehicles smog certified from him. He is a really nice person and will always provide quality information and the reason behind each and every test that he perform. Kudos to his great work 🙌🏻

Eric is courteous and professional. While I drove my 1999 car there for a smog check, he explained to me it would take longer due to the calibration of equipment and the need of running the car on rods. Usually, he took appointments for cars 1999 and early. Anyhow, I decided to wait. Luckily, the wait was not that long. Probably, Eric was worried my car wouldn't pass the smog check. He checked the on-car computer and did some visual checks first. After making sure there was nothing wrong with the initial check, he explained to me about the overall process, even the equipment model and what the possible outcomes were. And he let me decide whether I should proceed. Once the complete check was done, Eric even spent time explaining what the readings were from the inspection. Oh, Eric is the only person explaining to me on those readings throughout the years when I sent my car for a smog check although I only cared whether my car passed the test or not. Eric has been extremely patient not only to me but also other customers where I was waiting there. I would highly recommend his place if you want to have a smog check. What a wonderful experience I had!

He didn’t just leave me hanging—he genuinely cared about helping me get things right. I reinstalled the original equipment as he suggested, and when I returned the following week, he was ready and more than willing to help me through the process. His patience, clear communication, and upbeat personality made what could have been a frustrating experience totally stress-free. It’s rare to find someone so committed to both great service and educating customers. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would! Eric is super helpful and professional, the somg is super fast and he does a great job! I came here a week ago after another smog place closed for the day without any reason. When I got here Eric called into find out that all of the smog systems were down because of a network issue. He kept me informed, and even though I wasn't able to smog that day, I wanted to return because he was willing to take the time and explain the situation!
