I highly recommend using sound auto and truck- Bill was the answer to my mechanic dreams! He spent so much time explaining things to me and had a very insightful answer to each of my questions. Hes also the type of good person that i would be proud to call a friend. He is genuine and honest, and that is something you dont see everyday at an auto shop. Thanks Bill- you are more appreciated than i can even say.

Had my truck towed here because the electric power steering rack went out he got it in and found the problem quickly and put a new rack and pinion. he told me to take it and have a wheel alignment which I knew it was going to have to and he doesn’t have a alignment tools to do it so today I took it to south beach towing and auto repair and I told them the truck was wondering all over the road when they got under the truck and the rack hadn’t been tightened down but finger tight and the torque spec is like 200 ft pounds I would have given them five stars till this was found this is a huge mistake that could have cost me my life or my wife’s life

We bought promotional coupons for services here, and it was well worth it. I worked mostly with two technicians, who were extremely knowledgeable and took the extra time to explain in detail and SHOW ME, what was going on with my car. I didn't feel pressured to make decisions or feel inadequate by questions. Very reasonable pricing, we will be back when we can for repairs.

We were just starting out on a long trip in our 5th wheel and our truck wouldn’t start one morning. Calling the dealership was unhelpful as they would have made us wait up to a week to even get it looked at. I called and talked to Bill at Sound Auto and Truck and he said he would prioritize our issue since it was an emergency! Imagine that. They got us fixed up and back on the road the next day. Couldn’t be happier with their service and I’d recommend them as one of the best around.

Been searching for quotes for a major job on my 2008 Subaru. I was impressed by the review online about Bill and his shop, also it was a few minutes down the road. Although, He is a very busy mechanic, he, took the time to research the issue, look at my vehicle, and propose an inexpensive repair that is $$$$$ less. Hopefully, the inexpensive fix is the solution. But, he earned my trust with that first visit.

I've NEVER had such amazing customer experience just about anywhere. Bill and his team make me feel like my time and needs are important, and give me personal consideration in accordance to my schedule. Their prices, quality of work, forwarding of knowledge, and understanding of even old rare diesels is better than anywhere else I've experienced.

Small buisness, owner operator here. With a very full and booked schedule I broke down on the side of I-5. Naturally started freaking out and calling my clients. Reached out to sound truck and auto. I was towed and repaired within 24 hours, will be returning to work tomorrow. That said, upon picking up my vehicle, I was privileged to meet the owner and some of their crew. As a fellow tradesman I can tell you, these guys are the old school type. Willing to get dirty, take pride in their work, go the extra mile, do what it takes to get the job done, reasonable pricing, customer service and customer relations. Traits in a shop you almost never see these days anymore. My opinion, ditch the corporate shops when and where you can, when you can find a small gem like this in 2024, you stick with them. 5 star, highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Quick as possible work, legit set of mechanics and tradespeople trying to earn a living without ripping people off. Willing to get their hands dirty. You can tell from their office and shop that this is a WORKSHOP, not a corporate office with a pretty facade. If you don’t hear profanity in a mechanic shop you’re in the wrong place. This crew has the absolute worst sense of humor I’ve ever heard in a mechanic’s shop, which is 100% why I’m switching my business to them and referring my friends to switch to this shop too! Got the install for my product done with clear instructions and helped me troubleshoot when I had problems. Thanks guys!

This is not a reflection of the mechanical work completed. I was recommended to take my truck to this shop from my tow truck driver and he had nothing but awesome things to say including their prices compared to other shops. The shop found stuff to fix and the communication was great. I was told it would be done on the 3rd so I called that afternoon when I didn’t hear back from them and being closed the next few days I was getting nervous as I need this truck to do my deliveries. My total was being worked up and they’d call me back to discuss some of the suspension work we had talked about. I didn’t hear back for a couple of hours and it was getting really close to when they’d close for the holiday so I called. They gave me the total and said it was done, gave me the information about how they could achieve the suspension work in a way that was different from my usual shop and that I could come pick up the truck. I left right away and made it there just in time before they closed to find out there is a 4% fee on debit card transactions. It was an extra 100$ I’m a laborer and this is a lot of money on top of an already expensive bill. The mechanic did apologize for not telling me about it, and I also didn’t see it anywhere at the shop or on any of the paperwork I filled out. I know they work hard, and are very busy, and it was right before the holiday. I didn’t have a choice though and I should have. They didn’t tell me the truck was completed or give me the total that allowed me enough time to get cash to avoid the extra 100$ charge. It would be good business practice to make sure customers are informed as they’re already putting a lot of trust in you to keep their vehicles in good working order and be transparent.

AUTO OWNER BEWARE! What follows is my personal experience with this business. Initially I was impressed with the quick diagnosis and repair of an oil leak on my 2006 Chevy Cobalt so I referred my husband’s 2015 Buick Encore for an air conditioner recharge. During the recharge on 4/17/2024, oil leaks were noted so we scheduled to bring the vehicle back in for repair on 4/24/2024. Told repair completed 4/29/2024 so arrived to pick up. Paid $2099.91 by check but when backing vehicle out of bay, discovered check engine light on so went back in to notify the shop manager Jerry who spent the next 45 minutes attempting to diagnose issue. Ended up leaving vehicle again. Our check was cashed May 1 and cleared May 2 even though we did not have the vehicle in our possession. Vehicle was kept until May 16 (more than 2 weeks) when I was summoned for jury duty so we asked for the car to be reassembled and asked if it was safe to drive even though the check engine light was still on. We made a June appointment with Titus Will Chevrolet Olympia where vehicle was completely repaired including tear-down, re-timed the engine and replaced all parts. Took one week including cold test. Issues included timing chain off by one tooth and broken valve on turbo. Picked up vehicle at Titus Will Chevrolet and paid $1996.42 by credit card after a generous discount due to Titus Will repair shop error. On December 13, I went to Sound Auto & Truck in person with all receipts and other documentation expecting a check would be written and I’d be on my way. Jerry would not step off the tool truck to speak with me but sent me to the office with technician Jay. Jay was not making much sense when attempting to tell me Jerry would be the one to reimburse me but needed approval form the owner then stated it would be Jerry’s decision. I told Jay I would like the owner’s contact information, but was given a business card with the corporate email address and Jerry’s cell phone number. I left the documentation and my cell phone number with the expectation I would be contacted within a week. THEY HAD A CUSTOMER (ME) SITTING IN THE OFFICE WITH A PROBLEM WHO DID NOT RECEIVE APPROPRIATE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT LET ALONE ADEQUATE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited one week before sending an email with same documentation and demand for payment to the corporate email address and to the Harper and Harper Enterprises representative listed on business filings with the State. Once again, I have received no response. I’m not even sure the business owner, Lacey Sellers, has seen or heard of my issue. I wonder how she feels about the way her business is being managed as I would believe a reputable company would do the right thing and take care of their customer’s reimbursement rather than suffer damage to their reputation. IF SOUND AUTO & TRUCK GUARANTEE THEIR WORK, THEY SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM REIMBURSING US WHAT WE PAID TO TITUS WILL TO FIX ISSUES CAUSED BY THEIR FAILURE TO REASSEMBLE CAR AFTER REPAIRING OIL LEAKS. THERE IS A REASONABLE EXPECTATION THAT ANY CAR WOULD BE REASSEMBLED IN GOOD WORKING ORDER AFTER A REPAIR. The car was not safe to drive as it had no power to pass on the freeway due to broken valve to the turbo and anything more than one tooth off of the timing chain could have been catastrophic according to service advisor at Titus Will Chevrolet. IF YOU WANT to wonder if your vehicle has been repaired correctly, get the run-around and ghosted when there IS a problem and otherwise waste your hard-earned money, please, by all means, use this shop! This has been my experience.

STAY AWAY!! New management is awful. They lie (not good at it) and fully cheat you and at the same time misdiagnose. It has gone downhill since Jerry left and Forest took over. We also referred them to a company with a fleet of trucks and they too have left since new management. I will try to make this short… I took my vehicle in after being rear ended. Shocks, frame bracket and other things needed fixed. After that was done I had my AC serviced to work great again. Then my heater was blowing cold on the driver side so we took it back to them and we told them that my husband thought it was the blend doors and then he thought he did things right but still didn't work. Jay, the technician looked it over and said it was indeed the blend door and he will fix it and they called and said how much and I said go ahead. I went and picked it up and paid Ken at the desk cash because they will charge a 3% fee for debit or credit. This is how I paid the other jobs too. The heater still didn't work and I called Jerry the manager and he said he was going to Alaska for a few months and bring it to him so he can look it over and he said he will make sure it's fixed. Well he left and came back but also moved on to a new career. So last week I called again because it still needed to be dealt with so income have to be cold in the winter and I already paid for the fix. Forest said yes I remember your heater situation, bring it in. We get there and he starts off saying all the messes they have had to clean up because of previous management blah blah, but Jay is the one who Worked on it and he still works there and so I just ignored it. Then Forest falls a few days later and one lie after another seeing what stuck… oh Jay says it was the blend doors and I said yes that's what he said and that he fixed it, I paid and took it home. After all over the place being a terrible liar and no making sense and had to keep going to talk to Jay. He then calls and says do you have your receipt and honestly I didn't keep it (they know i paid cash) spark that's when they decided the new story was I never had it in their and Jay never worked on the heater and he needed to see a receipt (but they had me bring it in because Jay said he remembered and it was the blend door fix he did, now the story changes). Things get heated because they just flat out sticking with i never brought it in. Then Forest finally said that what the job is a heating coil and it's an 8 hour job vs the couple hour job of A blend door. So he was so busy lying and scheming that now we are about 5 days later and I'm a fair person, just say this is 6 more hours to fix and we could have worked it out but no they went the route of “Write have no record of it” how convenient, instead of being honest. It was now heated because he just admitted he lied due to the misdiagnosis and additional hours that he can't do (which I would have paid the additional, no problem). It ended with him hanging up on me when calling him out and we went to the shop to pick up my vehicle and the door was open with my keys on the desk and they were not there. Zero integrity and real bad liars, trying to see which one sticks. And if they respond to this, I'm sure it will be another tall story to get out of doing the right thing and saving face.

I brought my Jeep to this shop for an engine rebuild. It was all around an great experience, and exceeded all expectations. Not only was the work done quickly, but reasonably priced and done by friendly and honest mechanics! It has been about 1 year since the rebuild was done, and I am grateful I opted to do the repairs here because it has been driving great ever since. I have since returned for smaller maintenance jobs and had similarly positive experiences. Notably, the quick turnaround which is hard to come by around here! Highly recommend this mechanic shop for any sort of auto work needed. Local gem!

These guys really helped me out in a very bad situation. A day before I was scheduled to hit the road for a 4000+ mile trip my coolant reservoir cracked a leak. After going to two different auto mechanics I stopped in and they tackled it right away and had it fixed within a hour.
