quoted me $800+ to install a basic android auto headunit install. Other shop was able to do it for $400. Guy was obviously fishing for someone who doesn't check other shop's prices. what every quote you get from this guy make sure to shop around.

I took it in without an appointment because of some audio issues. I was able to chat with the owner and overall both him and the son are kind people . Prices are not extreme and they took care of my problem for FREE took no more than 15 min to fix it . I will be coming back with my car for further modifications. I trust them!

I was looking for an apple car play stereo for my 2014 Honda Civic. As I did my search and read my reviews I noticed this place called Sound Scape in Downey, CA. When I called the first time and spoke with John he provided the most honest, genuine, customer service, and patience attitude towards me when it came to asking 100 questions on the product, pricing, and financial options he provided. Not once did he come off as a pushy sale guy and not once did he try to sell me things I did not need, which to me is a major plus because some places I went to see and called would try so hard to get me to upgrade things I didn't need to upgrade. I called a few more times before making my appointment with John and sound scape and each time he was just an overall, honest and genuine person and after my third time calling I just decided to go with him and make my appointment for this Saturday 2/22/2020. He gave me reassurance that the product had a one year warranty and he gave me reassurance about his life time warranty on his installation, that made me so happy. Keep in mind I know nothing about cars except for what I research and even then its a scary situation when it comes to people installing things into your car. I love that they took their time when it came to installations and I love that John took the time to really show me how to work with my product. I love that they didn't leave a bunch of wires sticking around and I loved that in the end I am enjoying my new apple car play. Overall, if you are looking for a new audio system for your car Sound Scape and John is the best place to go too and I would totally recommend this place to anyone I know that is looking to upgrade their cars. Thank you John for being a very honest, genuine, and patient man towards people like me who ask a lot of questions and have a lot of doubts about things. You make things very easy and very welcoming.

I'm posting this months since I purchased my Alpine. I want to be sure I had it a while before I post my review. Firstly I want to say that the guy over the counter was very nice and professional. I had done some research on some prior to arriving to the store as a precaution, and the seller was very patient, informative, and professional. Once I bought the Alpine he asked if I would like to have it installed (for a charge of course). I remember I couldn't decide on a time to install it. He was very accommodating that made some time that same day to have it installed that same hour. Early on there was an issue with the Bluetooth calls (the person on the other line could not here me), I showed up again and they were nice enough to check it out free off charge. They were able to solve the issue and I haven't had any issue since then. I definitely recommend you come here to get your radios and to have them installed here. If I ever had the opportunity again I would definitely come here again.

I'm Ashamed Of Myself For Getting Took . Clearly Explained My Desires And Was Quoted A Price . When I Explained My Disappointment , He Says Misunderstanding And Charged Me Additional $$$$$$ Still Was Not Right . Then I Told Still not Right Then Was Showed A Product That Would FIX The Problem. Upon Agreeing To Another Small $$$$ And Waiting Another Three Weeks To Arrive When Every Time He Orders Me A Component He Says 2-3 Days Never Happens . Product He Installed Was Not The Product He Promised . It Pains Me To Have To Leave This Review But It Is What It Is . If You Decide To Go Here Make Sure Model Numbers Of Products Are On Invoice And Take :Pictures Of On Line Product . Be Careful

Worth checking out. Both my friend and I got our cars worked on here and sent them another friend of ours. Some simple interior light kits. I have had no problems with my car at all and nothing has been damaged and it works awesome. Workers are nice guys and happy to help you out and answer any questions you have. I def will send people over.

John tells me to come up there first thing in the morning because he shows up around 9am. He told me my truck would be done around 4pm. He had the audacity to ask me if he can keep my truck overnight after telling me it would be done at 4 PM. He quoted me a price for a car alarm that he didn’t even have in stock and after I show up for my appointment tells me that it hasn’t been delivered to the shop yet. This man tried to overcharge me and still didn’t finish the job done. I was supposed to get my audio, window tint , and car alarm. Literally, nothing was complete when I got back . I won’t be returning. I wouldn’t recommend having anything done at the shop. Highly disappointed.

This is the only audio place you should be coming to. Customer is top tier and pricing for installation and equipment is fair and definitely not an over charge. Some places put up a front on “Deals” but this place is as fair as they come. John has always made sure I had anything I needed. If he doesn’t he orders it for me. Same day ready and had no issues. My sounds are bumping clean, clear and crispy. Thanks again John!

Due to a car accident last year, I was looking to have a dash cam installed in my new car. I found Sound Scapes and decided to stop by. John (the owner) was there and I explained that I was looking for a hard wired install and he offered to do it that day. Unfortunately I was unable to leave the car and had to return at a later date. He was very flexible with scheduling. The work done was great. Fast forward to now. I had a sensor issue and the dealer tried to blame the hardwired dashcam. I took the car back and John showed and explained how it would not affect the sensor. He disconnected the camera on site so I could take it back to the dealership. Once the faulty sensor was replaced, I came back to have the hardwire swapped out with just a run to the USB in the center console just so I don't have to deal with the dealership excuses in the future. In the end, the workmanship is fantastic. The pricing is great. To top it off, the customer service was amazing. Thank you John, I will definitely be back and recommend your shop to others.

John has worked on my prius v, yardis, equinox and now Impreza. Always impressed with his workmanship, communication and of course pricing. If you need your radio updated or windows tinted, come here first. The job will be done fast and well.
