Purchased a new truck a few months ago brought it in for A 15,000 mile service which is supposed to replace several things tire rotations, etc. etc. tires were not rotated. One of my tires is losing air. So-called technician said that they couldn’t find a leak while they don’t just leak by themselves filled it up with air lo and behold it’s still losing air. Fuel filter was not replaced. I’m not sure what services they completed if any gave me my truck back and tried to charge me even though they sold me the service package. that was three days ago called 3 times to left messagesfor the service director have not heard back going to be calling the owner soon this is unacceptable

Needed new tires. Stopped by to make appt and let them know the wheel lock key was lost. Rep said she would order tires and what was needed for wheel locks, and l was using deal.. buy 3 tires get one for $1. Rep thought order would be in by following Monday and I'd get call to schedule appt. No one called. I called them, and was told they don't see tires. Then he went looking and found them. I reviewed the wheel lock issue and he said we were all set. Made appt for Sat at 9am. I arrived on time, and was walked to waiting room. Was told it would be a couple hours, like 2. Ok. After waiting about 45 min, Rep returned to say they couldnt find tires. I told her l spoke with someone who confirmed they were received. She left and came back a few minutes later and said they found them. About 20 min later, back out, where is wheel lock key. I knew it. Here we go. Told her the initial order and following phone call both addressed that and they had ordered what they needed. Well, no one had it, now theyre ordering it again and will call me to make new appt. Total time so far, 2 hrs today and about 30 min in ordering and phone call. Woman today was very nice and apologetic. I have used up my patience. I expect price to be no more than than initial quote with a discount for my time and trouble.

I forgot my coupon for a $69-something oil change and when I told Lori my service advisor about she apologized and said “they” were being real strict about having the coupon to prevent fraud. Lori is a wonderful person who has been my advisor several times but I was disappointed that such a hard line was taken with me—a known and loyal customer who has gotten my last two vehicles at thus dealership plus recent repairs . Usually, there’s a mechanism to allow the use of a coupon if a customer didn’t have one. The amount of goodwill afforded the customer would have been worth more than the discount. Contrast that with the experience I had the next day when I took another vehicle to Savannah Tire. Due to a mistake in making the appointment, the service person not only got me in at my scheduled time, she also gave me a 20% “repeat customer” discount because she saw my service history. I know dealerships make their money off of service, not vehicle sales. Southern Motors lost me as a service customer. Lori was only doing her job but she expressed the sentiment of ownership and management of its attitude toward its customers, loyal customers, which can only be interpreted as non-appreciation. Why would I return to a business where I’m not appreciated? You’re right…I wouldn’t. And neither would you. Kudos to the renovation, though…nice job!

What a wonderful experience with service despite their renovations. I am from out of town (NC) and while on my way down there was some debris in the road and I could not avoid it. After, the truck was pulling extremely hard to the right, I figured the alignment was way off after that incident. ( I recently had it aligned last month so this was a new issue). My service advisor, Caitlin, took great care of me, communicated the status and answered all questions. She even went the extra mile and had the technician, Mark S. Jr., check to make sure I didn’t break anything from the impact at 85 mph and he took it for a test drive after to verify all my concerns had been corrected. With no appointment, an extremely packed schedule and all the other factors, I dropped my car off close to noon and had it back in a fair amount of time. I am pleased with not only the service, but the quality and care that each individual took. Prices were fair (I have a diesel 2500) and everything with a diesel is typically more expensive. You just know you’re going to spend more. I know this is a one set price not like typical work which is designated by hours. If I ever have an issue while in town again I will definitely be back!

I showed up a few minutes early for my Friday afternoon appointment. I was getting an oil change under my service agreement, and was probably first after lunch. I was met with courtesy and efficiency. I had to take a conference call and was able to find a private space in their waiting area. I liked the overview they sent me via text message, although some dealers do a video which I think would elevate this service just a little more. Great job overall-very professional!

Caitlyn did a great job with keeping me updated; however, I have an issue with the service in itself. I went for an oil change and they completed an oil change and oil filter change. Now my car is leaking oil from the sides of the filter they put on as well as they left a random flashlight under the hood of the car near the motor that I road around with for 3 days before looking at the leak and noticed the flashlight. I did not see these issues until Saturday afternoon and will be calling on Monday morning for answers about the leaking oil……. ***UPDATE: Scott went above and beyond to reach out to me on Sunday to ensure I could bring my vehicle in the morning to fix all my concerns with the leak. Upon arriving Caitlyn greeted me and immediately got my car to the back. Upon further review it was just overflow from them filling the oil. They also ensured me that there wasn’t anything leaking and they cleaned off the area that the oil was spilled on. They also noted in my file for a free oil change when my next service comes up. I bought this challenger brand new back in 2017 at this dealership and I’ve always got my car serviced here. Thank you for making this right

I visited the Dodge Ram dealership to purchase parts from the parts department, and the service I received was extremely unprofessional. I waited at the counter for 25 minutes because the employee had left. After he finally returned — only because I found him myself — he said he would look up the parts I needed and then disappeared again for another 25 minutes. This is unacceptable service. Customers should not be left waiting for nearly an hour during regular business hours, especially without any communication or assistance. This kind of treatment shows a lack of respect for customers and their time.

Oh wow! What great service! Lori was sensational. The two young people in the parts department went over and beyond to find my part( from a year ago). It was still there with the invoice waiting on me! The manager even escorted me from the showroom to the correct area to find out about scheduling the service! I have purchased 3 vehicles from this location over the past 12 years. I chose to service them here thinking that there was value added for 2 reasons: Expertise Accurate records. I beleive the expertise is sound. The records don't matter because they don't check them before recommending needed services. The age and milage of a vehicle always suggest that certain things be done. This shop used to check those recommendations against what had been done on a particular vehicle in the past to protect the customer from unnecessary, costly, double work. It has happened twice now that I get a laundry list of things that require immediate attention as they have "failed" inspection. The only thing that failed is due diligence of the shop to see if these things had been done recently by checking my vehicle history. When this happened last year I let them know. I was told it would not happen again. It did. I declined the services and took my business elsewhere. The shop is now renovated, shiny and polished but procedures are not. Do better.
