I bought new rear tires for my truck and they were trying to put them on the front of my truck. I got that straight and then when they mounted the tires on the back rims they said they didn't have any valve stems. So after hours of getting things straight I had to come home and put tires on the front of my truck because they had not balanced my front tires after breaking them down. Very bad experience. I now need to find a place to put me some new valve stems in. I paid for the job to be done right!

Best affordable tire service! Our goose neck tires blew out while driving on the hwy. They were done under 2 hours. They even helped shift our load!

2 bays for big trucks makes it difficult for this place to roll customers in and out quickly.... But......... The boys in those 2 bays got HUSTLE.. and they handle it like professionals... Love me some STM when I'm in a bind and need good service... Keep it up y'all😎

I’d recommend this place to anyone if I could give more stars I would me and my fiancé came to get new tires they were pretty fast not only that everyone had great customer service but there was this one that stuck out to me and my fiancée by the name of KD amazing customer service very friendly and respectful we will definitely be coming again

Called to ask if they do transmission fluid exchange, the woman even placed me on hold to ask about it and then told me that they did. Next day I got there and they told me they don't. Workers fault. They have to be more careful not to waste customers valuable time.

I’m an older woman, much older-5ft 2in and I’ve been blonde most of my life-these are important facts. 6 years ago my daughter and I purchased a 2012 F350 Diesel that included a lift kit, 35 in Toyo MTs, a 12K wench and extra lights..a tough truck! But again, I’m blonde. So for these past 6 years, I’ve paid almost every tire store in TCL, Bham and even to Alaska (literally) to rotate, balance and align my tires, trying to get even a somewhat smooth ride-NEVER happened. I was given a number of stupid excuses by the Macho-men who “knew sooo much”, in a manner that this Dump Blonde could understand. Then I came to Southern Tire Mart in Tuscaloosa, and the world changed! Not only did I save literally hundreds of dollars on new tires, but the Lady-Teresa, who discussed my needs, knows MORE than any, ANY tire store person I’ve ever met! AND she never talks down to me or acts like I can’t understand. Then there is Charlie-the Gentleman who does the tire work. Again, his communications are informative, comprehensive, thorough and totally respectful. But THE BEST THING is that when I’ve left there in my truck, driving the same roads I’ve always driven..it is like gliding on ice!! Smoothest ride evvver. I do have to mention the Gentleman who work outside under the shed. I had tire and rim issues with a trailer that was loaded with a heavy generator. With the help of Teresa, they resolved, repaired and replaced the problems with perfect solutions! I can’t say enough good things about this company..and the “cherry on top” is that thru my travels, this company is everywhere..so no matter where I go, they are always there to help and I can DEPEND on them!! AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!
