stay away, I dropped my truck off to get diagnosed and fixed, took them 2 months to even start to work on it, after weeks of constantly texting them asking for updates the truck had no oil pressure, they replaced the oil pump and then the truck was running good and I could pick it up the following day. Got a text in the morning saying the truck wouldn’t start and would need a major engine rebuild, and would have to get the truck towed to another shop for diagnostics. I still had to pay for all services, and got scammed as the parts are low quality and or don’t even work. Don’t make the same mistake I did, go literally anywhere else.

After spending $3,000 at a well-known Reno shop during HAN last year, and using all of my AAA tows, my car was still stalling in traffic. During one of the stalling events my doctor recommended Specialty Automotive to me. He contacted them and my car was towed to their shop the NEXT DAY. They diagnosed the problem, repaired a sensor and test drove the car THREE TIMES, before releasing it to me. The cost was $153.00! I appreciate honest, knowledgeable shops, and will continue to use them for all of my repairs. They are so easy to work with and stand behind their work! Five stars to Kyle the owner for his patience and attention to detail.

I’m new to Reno and was recommended to go to Specialty Automotive if I had any car problems.. the week I moved here in July, there was a heatwave and my AC stopped working.. well I needed a new ac compressor and serpentine belt!
