Been going to this place for a few years now. It’s affordable. not going to overprice you for simple repairs like other chain auto mechanic shops. If you already know what’s wrong with your car, and just need to have it fixed. it’s even better.

I just came here to change the oil in my car. The man told me there was a problem with the car's engine and said I could fix it if you wanted. While trying to fix it, he broke the oil filter of the car. My car was working before I came here, now it is not working and its engine burned out. This man doesn't understand anything and is a complete fraudster, definitely stay away.

Terrible service, they only align for camber and do not check any other type of wheel alignment issues. I had problems with my car’s rear toe alignment and they weren’t able to fix it. Took it back in and mentioned car was unstable after their alignment in hopes of getting it corrected to no avail. You would think they would be able to find and fix the issue but nothing. (Easy fix btw, had another shop take a look and they were able to fix in about 10-15 mins…). Never coming back.

I took my car here Friday because it was making weird noises... waited for 2 hours because it's only 2 men working... my car was perfectly fine when I drove it there just wanted to know what the noise was ??? The mechanic man looked unsure what he was doing even had me guessing myself he checked it out didn't tell me anything about the noise shut the hood told me to leave. by the time I got home My SERPENTINE BELT was off and my Mount was missing I believe this company messed with my car now it's not driving ! DO NOT GO HERE ITS GIVING BAD BUSINESS BECAUSE MY CAR WAS FINE WHEN I DROVE IT THERE now my car is needing to get fixed

We found Speedway due to them being the mechanic for our car's warranty. We've been customers ever since for all of our vehicles. We were new to Tampa and finding this shop was a gem!! He's honest and doesn't charge you ridiculous prices. He shows you what's wrong so you know he's not just trying to take your money. As long as I live in the area, Speedway Car Care Center will always be mu first choice!!

Brought in my car for an engine misfire and he said new spark plugs, wiring, and a gasket were needed. They did the repair and the check engine light would not go away so I went back 4 different times and nothing. His response what “That’s a Dodge for you! Welcome to my world!” The light did not go away. One of his mechanics said “Put a picture of your family over the light!” It’s nothing. Went to another mechanic and I they said the wrong spark plugs installed and now all need to be replaced to having 2 new new misfires! Going to speedway was a waste of time. Maybe older cars will do well there but not new cars with all the electronic components.

I've been coming here for over 10 years, still the best prices around. I recently came in for replacement of both control arms and alignment for my car, I would've done the repair myself but just don't have the time. Brian gave me a great price and the repair was so fast, I went to get some tacos at the food truck next door and in less than 10-15 min the mechanic was done with the control arm replacement which probably would have taken me over 2 hours to do. Very fast friendly service, my car drives a 1000% better and no more swerving or pulling to one side. I am very happy and will continue to come back.

Been going here for oil changes and tire rotations for years now and always leave happy!!! The owner is GREAT and always makes an effort to be able to take my car right in and have me in and out quickly! He’s always trying to make sure to accommodate you no matter how busy he is, he’ll do the best he can! Never used them for anything else but I sure do recommend them if you’re looking for an oil change/tire rotation 👍🏽

If I can get this place a zero star, I would let first start off with the customer service horrible zero out of 10. I went in because I already got a diagnostics that my alternator was going out. He then brought out a machine and told me that my alternator was they charge me $180 for a battery. After leaving the shop, my battery light came on, and it started making noise. A noise that it never made before I took it there. I’m letting the man know I don’t know what you did to my car, but you mess it up. He raised his voice at me and told me something that I did But looking at other reviews, it shows that they mess up people cars all the time. My battery was not all the way malfunction with my car when I took my car my battery almost came out. When you not agreeing with the mechanic, he raise his voice at you, but he only had this energy with women. When my brother called, he was way more understanding which is very confusing when it’s my car. Don’t ever bring your car here.

Someone recommended this guy. I came for an oil change, and after that, he did something. He charged $312, but my car's engine stopped working. Now, I have to find another mechanic for engine repair. I hope he will take care of this comment

Dishonest mechanic, he did not know how to do the service that was needed and started racking and trashing my car, instead of turing me away. Was not trying to make it right but came up with excuses. Just got the car had and no issues but the one, when I got my car back I have a whole other set of other issues with the car now. DO NOT GO HERE He is greedy you will come out with more issues than what you started with.

Paid for spark plugs, which he did not ask me if it was okay to change and was not time for a tune up. He changed my spark plugs out for used ones and took my good spark plugs. Pulled the wiring out of my fuse box and taped up the wires. Then lied and said someone else did this.

Lord knows I miss this place so much. This was my family's mechanic when we lived in Tampa. He is honest, fair prices, great work. I moved out the state and wish I could find a mechanic like Speedway. Always appreciate good, honest hardworking mechanics. They are very rare these days!!
