Starnes collision center is the pinnacle of what you expect when getting your vehicle repaired. I have taken many of my vehicles here for a variety of things such as body work, mechanical work, and even some ceramic coating. I have grown attached to Starnes because of the personal relationship and quality of work they express in every car they take in. Casey (the owner) extensively explained the process to me and ensured that I would be in good hands while getting my vehicles repaired. Casey also explained how the shop differs from any other in the area being a non-DRP shop, meaning that they are not just trying to get my car in and out the door as fast as possible with sub-par quality work. They care about every vehicle they repair as if it was their own. At the end of the day the wait to get your car back is solely on the insurance company not wanting to “play ball” with the non “DRP” shop that wants to do quality work. If you want a rushed low quality job then take your car down the street. If you want to leave the shop with a flawless vehicle take it over to the team at Starnes and you won’t be disappointed.

Professionalism is there, the work not quite. To make a long story short I recently bought an old school BMW as a fun little weekend car and was planning on fixing it up a bit. I had seen Casey prior to my accident and was planning on using them to fully paint the car, until someone hit my parked car. I took it to Starnes Auto Body with a check from insurance, got their quote, and left the car. A few days later I get a call saying that it was going to be more than the estimate by ~ $900 and insurance was only giving them $300 before they totaled it. So I agreed to pay an extra $500 out of pocket to avoid the car being totaled. I picked up the car and took it home and I didn't fully look it over until I got home, and I noticed that the rear quarter (which is where the damage was) still had little white spots all over it. Thinking it was just buffing compound I inspected it closer and it appeared to be little holes and the white was bondo that was showing through. After further inspection I noticed that the trim piece and the piece of trim around the light were not replaced, and they were on the original quote from the insurance to replace. Casey had told me that it was going to be "more expensive" than the original quote because they had to do it exactly the way the insurance adjuster wanted it done. So the trim never got replaced despite it being on the original insurance quote, and the paint had white holes all over it and the trunk liner had looked like it was just shoved back into place. So I call Casey and let him know about the issues, and he is quick to tell me to bring it back in and he will fix the problems. I bring it back In and another week goes by, and I go pick the car back up. The trim is replaced, the trunk liner is "fixed", but the paint looks like someone had wet sanded and just added a bit more clear coat to it. I took it back to him a third time to re-point out that what I had originally brought it in for had not been fixed. Third time was the charm and after having to deal with some attitude about it, they refunded me part of my money and the car looks ok. *Note paint on the car is currently not perfect, but the area that was supposed to be made to look like new also did not look like new. Last time I use this body shop, will be taking it over to Import Paint and Body as I have used them in the past. I used KC on a referral.

This is the best customer experience i have ever experienced. KC, Deirdre, and the rest of the staff educated me on the process from getting a rental to getting my payout from my insurance. They truly went above and beyond and over delivered. KC is beyond fair and is willing to do whatever is necessary to make sure your needs and wants are fulfilled. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Great people all around and best in the business.

I had the rear bumper on my car repaired and the color of the bumper doesn’t match the rest of the car. The gentleman I spoke to actually tried to gaslight me telling me he was looking at the bumper of his car and another person that works at the office and the bumpers don’t match the rest of the car. He had the audacity to say “I bet if you stepped outside and looked at your front bumper, it wouldn’t match either”. I said I’d take a look, get some pictures and I’d call back. I did call back but the gentleman was on vacation, I’ve been waiting for his call for more than 2 weeks. It’s one thing to own up to it and say “it’s really hard to match the color” but his response was insulting. I’ve posted pictures of both front and rear bumper in day light and night time and from different angles. Personally, I’d go somewhere else. I only went to this spot because the gentleman who hit our bumper wanted to pay for the repair. I’m sorry that he had to pay his hard earned money for this service.

Casey Starnes runs a good company that is very skilled at repairing vehicles. My Mazda CX-50 was rear ended last year which meant the tailgate and rear bumper had to be replaced. The staff did a great job replacing those items and putting the car back together such that it looks like the minor accident never even happened. They do great work here!

I cannot recommend Carlos, Robin and the KC Starnes crew enough. As a car guy, I was distraught when my new car was hit. When asked, "do you have a body guy" all I could do is look down and whisper, "no". I try to spin my own wrenches as often as possible, but body and paint is a next level skill that I don't possess the time or patience to master. KC Starnes came highly (HIGHLY) recommended, so I called, set up an appointment and brought the vehicle in. Carlos worked with me to make sure I got the parts I wanted and Robin made sure to handle all communications about timeline, rentals and pricing. The work was top-notch. The car looks brand new. While they won't be the cheapest, they are competitive and their quality well worth any differences you may find shopping around. I will be bringing them more business in the future. Seriously, I cannot sing their praises loud enough.
