If I could give more stars to Randy and Sarah I would. Thorough, kind, beyond trustworthy...and the added bonus of a dog (or 3) to pet in the office while waiting, should anyone so choose! I will never take my car anywhere else!!!

I accidently called this establishment twice to get an estimate on brakes and the second time the owner stated "I see your calling everywhere in town you need to take notes and stop wasting my time". Sorry I always price check any/all work that needs to be done and most of the time the price is not always the determining factor it is a combination of customer service, ratings and price. So with all things considered I will not bring my vehicle to this place the owner is rude and on top of that, I found a much cheaper place with just as high of a rating who wasn't such an a** hole. Thanks but no thanks, sorry not sorry!!!

Was referred by a friend when the heater core started to leak. Had called different specialist shops but got the best rate here. The people running this shop are very friendly and accommodating. If you have an import and don’t want to be fleeced at “the dealership”, this is the place to go. It’s been a month now and there is no leaks and the heater blows nice hot air.

Had my battery replaced and registered. The price was very reasonable. I have nothing bad to say about the service. I've been suspicious about my brakes and they checked them for no extra charge. The pads were found to be in good shape. Later, I found out it was my brake fluids that was the problem, oh well. Hardest part about coming here is their hours. They open at 8AM and are closed on the weekend.

Honest! Was told by a reputable and big name auto dealership that I needed both my front and back brakes done. Took my car into State of the Art and lo and behold I didn't need either of those things done! Save me hundreds of dollars. My entire family takes our vehicles here and we trust State of the Art.

HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE!!!! I was referred to this shop by a friend when my car suddenly would not start one day. I had my car towed to STATE OF THE ART AUTO without ever meeting face to face due to the referral. Randy was not very customer friendly off the bat over the phone but i gave him the benefit of the doubt and had my car towed there anyway. A day after dropping my car off, Randy called me back with a diagnosis said my problem would cost $1200 and take a week and a half to fix. I reluctantly agreed. In order to begin the work I was told i would need to put down a deposit of $500. Four days later (which i thought was strange due to the initial time line i was given of “a week and a half”) Randy called me back and said he fixed the initial problem but that there was another problem that would cost an ADDITIONAL $1100 TO FIX!!! I’m the primary source of income for a family of 5 and i go to school myself. I told Randy i could not afford that!! and that if i’d known there was a possibility for the repair to be over $1000 more than what he originally quoted me i would have chosen a different option. Randy expressed zero compassion over the phone and he even went so far as to get loud with me coldly stating “it is what it is dude!!!” He already had had $500 of my money so i had no choice but to pay and pray for the best. Randy told me the car was drivable and that it would make it home but that EVENTUALLY the catalytic converter would burn out if i didn’t fix the $1100 problem. So i payed the remaining $698 of my balance which Randy REFUSED to budge on and drove my car off his lot. My car barely made it a mile before it stalled in the middle off a busy intersection. I had to push my car off to the side of the road and call a tow truck less than 20 minutes after spending $1200 to a mechanic to fix it. IF I WERE YOU I’D TRY A DIFFERENT MECHANIC!!!

I visited here with my 13 year old car for the first time, and I felt the service was excellent! Sarah was great to work with, and they showed me before and after pictures of the things that they fixed. Prices were extremely reasonable, and they accommodated my short, available timeframe. Thank you! I will be back.

I've had service here twice, and cancelled service once. They were able to do repairs timely, which was great. Prices seem to be average from the minor services I've needed, but they charge $125 just for diagnostics if they find something wrong (nothing was wrong for me, so they didn't charge, but that is a huge inhibitor for me, as I've had plenty places NOT charge anything). My determining factor in not coming back is Randy's arrogant attitude and approach. All three times, I left the shop preterbed with Randy's sour presumptuousness. Accountability was questionable, as while scheduling my appointment with the secretary, I asked if they could check everything over for an idea of how long certain parts can go without repair (brakes, general parts easily accessible), but when I picked it up, he said that "that wasn't written down ahead of time." He did end up being able to quickly recall from a different mechanic that an "exam" had been done, but only after challenging me. My battery was corroded prior to the appt; he failed to bring this up to me. He wanted me to buy tires from him, and disliked the fact that I could get them elsewhere for cheaper. He pushed this topic for too long, bringing it up twice in hopes I'd change my mind. Secretary was nice and answered all of my questions (and then some), but until Randy changes his attitude, I will no longer give them service. Not the most professional mechanic I've had to resort to.

Randy and Sarah were amazing! At first I was told, on a Tuesday morning, that my car might not be looked at until Friday. Later that Tuesday Randy called me and told me what the problem was and that my car would be fixed and ready Wednesday around noon. Expectations were not high, like normal, when dropping my car off at the mechanics. Needless to say, I had a great experience. I just found my new mechanic. Thanks State of the Art Import Auto Repair!

You can always count on Randy & Sarah's (owners) honesty, and being treated very fairly. You can expect highly competent automotive repair and knowledgeable skills. Randy has probably the highest certification as an ASE master technician. You will have to usually leave your vehicle with them though. And, make your own transportation arrangements. That being said, it's worth the effort. I am a repeat customer from several years back. I always feel good when I walk out knowing that the jobs been done correctly without being oversold like the car dealership commonly does! And, at a better price! How can you beat that?

Had a used car dealer bring a car there for a pre-purchase inspection and they saved me from buying a money pit. They were able to accommodate me on short notice and were very courteous and professional throughout the process. The car was so bad they called immediately to let me know they would not recommend to even go ahead with the inspection and there would be no charge. I will definitely use them again!

I've visited State of the Art twice - once to have my brakes and rotors replaced, and once after to have a noise in those same brakes checked out. I took my car in today to have the noise checked out, and I was assured that if it was an issue with the brakes, and the fault of the mechanics, I wouldn't be charged. They were true to their word, and I walked out of their shop without paying a cent. Their service is great and honest. Keep up the good work!

Sarah, Randy and the entire staff are absolutely the most amazing crew. They are always honest about what work needs to get done and what can go a bit longer. I have never felt so confident in an estimate or repair as I am with State of the Art. I will also add that always having a dog in the office is pretty fantastic as well.

I have taken three of my cars to Randy and Sarah for various maintenance and repairs - from oil changes to brakes (Accord and Pilot) to engine mounting bracket repairs (Pilot) and more. The work was always completed within expectations (they do a great job of setting a reasonable expectation that they know they can hit - and then many times exceed that expectation) and with the highest quality. I highly recommend State of the Art!

I've been a customer of State of the Art Import Auto repair for a several years. They've been honest, provided competitive prices, and performed quality service, and even gave me rides back to my local home when I needed it. Recently, I missed four appointments. We went back and forth over phone over months and there was miscommunication between us. My schedule has been hectic but regardless, I take responsibility for missing these appointments. When I called back to try and schedule again, the shop respectfully stated that they didn't think we are right to do business together in the future. I was disappointed that there wasn't more clear communication about the impact of missing appointments or reminders about when upcoming appointments would take place. The shop claims they made this clear to me but I have no record of it in their communication to me. I think it's important for prospective customers to know that it's important to keep appointments as successive missed appointments could result in the shop not wanting to do business with you any longer.
