I had four tires changed. The price was the cheapest comparable to the area, and the work was done quickly. The front office workers were personable and honest.

Great experience! I drove my car in to the shop close to their closing time b/c of a strange grinding noise coming from my wheels. They were able to diagnose the issue and fix it even though some of them had to stay a while past their closing time. They were great all around and turned what could have been a very bad situation into a great one. Definitely a customer moving g forward! Thanks guys!

Was traveling through on our way to Canada when we blew a trailer tire. Called Steve Shannon in Scranton and they said to bring it right in. They replaced our tire in immediately, were very fast and efficient and very friendly. Great service!

Never had to worry about my auto service . Inspection or problem with my car Shannon has been the place I go . Always treated respectfully , work never done without my approval . If my car will take awhile to be repaired they always take me home and pick me up when repairs are completed . My car is in good hands at Shannon tire . Try them you won't be sorry 🤷

My husband and I had both of our cars inspected here this week. Fast, friendly service. Great prices. Our one vehicle has been giving us problems and we've had it to 3 different mechanics in the last 6 months. They were able to fix the problem along with the inspection for a very reasonable price. Highly, highly recommended!

Went to get car aligned was able to get an appointment within 2 days. The people there were very courteous. $105 which is about average for this area. Call to alert me when the car was ready. Provided before and after print out of alignment at pictures of the other side of the car areas that had to be adjusted.

I had my breaks replaced roughly a month ago from another place and was hearing squeaking from the front. I stopped by to have someone take a look. Mike greeted me at the counter with a friendly smile and asked how he could help. I expressed my concerns and he reassured me that they'll get it taken care of. After a short stay Mike had let me know that my breaks needed to be replaced after the lowest grade of breaks were put on my car. He reassured me that they would get my car taken care of. Less than an hour later I was checking out and enjoying the peace and quite coming from my car. I highly recommend not only Steve Shannons but working with Mike! I will definitely be back!

This was a terrible experience. My car was in this garage a week before for inspection that included brake work. A couple days later I’m driving down the highway and lose most of the braking ability. When I brought it back I was told it was a broken in half caliper. Google and mechanics I know say that doesn’t happen, where your team advised it is a common issue. It seems like your team did something wrong during install and cost me another chunk of change. To top off the inconvenience…No call to say it is done. When I called I was put on hold for 23 minutes and had to hang up and call back to find out my car was ready. No big deal right….My car had been done so long that you parked one of your vans in front of it. I asked the guy as I paid to have it moved so I could leave. “Sure be right out”. Sat there for another 10 minutes and thankfully the guy getting his car next to me left and I was able to shimmy out of the spot to finally leave. I get that things happen but when you back it up with absolutely poor customer service, you lose customers.

From the start of shopping around for tires, brakes, rotors and an oil change the staff at Steve Shannon’s were extremely helpful. Mike greeted me with a friendly smile and ask how he can help. I explained what I needed and was unsure or whether or not brakes and rotors needed to be done. He provided me with a quote with and without brakes and helped me shop for the best tires for my vehicle. My car is definitely gets a lot of miles put on it so I was looking for the best tires for my commute. Mike had asked what tire level I was looking for and gave me quotes for several different tires. After placing the order for my tires I had planned on returning the next day. Unfortunately my car had broke down and was sent to a garage where they held been fixing it for a few weeks. I had called the store and told them I hadn’t forgotten but my car was currently out of commission and I would be in as soon as I could. A month later my car was finally fixed and everything was ready for me to have the tires placed on along with the other several things that I had needed. Mike helped me at the start of services and at the end along with several other staff members (forget their names). Highly recommend!

First time going and definitely returning customer. Employees were welcoming and great. (Customer service 50/20. ) Plus. A place who saves dogs and not just let them run wild and get hit by cars. Always be best place for me to go. (Had a very friendly doggo that was lost running in traffic be held there.) held him until they got the chip read and found the owners. Love the staff🦾

Had tires rebalanced. Didn’t get a block away and knew they weren’t right. Needed an alignment Charged $55 and was told that it couldn’t be done because of a rusty tie rod sleeve and giving a price of $260 for repair. Took my vehicle to Kost tire. Tired balanced and alignment performed .. called for a partial refund. Took my number and was never contacted. Lost $143. Just my personal experience

I brought my SUV into Steve Shannons for an alignment after having some work done (brakes, ball joints and new tires put on). Immediately upon leaving the steering felt off, there was no play in the wheel, any correction was an overcompensation and it felt like it was swerving. When it rained or the road surface was wet the rear end felt like it was turning sideways. I called the shop back, explained what was happening and was advised "The aligment wouldn't cause that, all it does it straighten out your steering". They recommended I take it back to the mechanic, so thats what I did. I paid for a days labor to be told my tires were bald and my alignment was off. He asked to see the print out I got from the alignment shop, I showed him, and it was never filled out/provided to me. I called Steve Shannons back a second time, spoke with the same gentleman, explained again what I was experiencing and what new information my mechanic gave me, and again was told "The alignment wouldn't cause that". At my insistance they agreed to get it right in and redo the alignment. Afterward the same gentleman explained that the 1st time they straightened it as much as they could, but they were able to do better this time because it was warmer. He made it sound like a mechanical issue with my SUV instead of a problem they should have told me about at pick up. If they knew it wasn't straight, why wasn't I made aware of the mechanical issue immediately instead of given the keys to ride off to my death? He showed me the paperwork that was ommitted at my 1st visit showing the rear tires were in the red and "toe in"? I felt and still do that my ignorance was taken advantage of. I didnt know to ask for the report with my reciept or what the numbers meant. I trusted who I thought were professionals and in return I was without my vehicle for approx 4 weeks, had to pay for alternate transportation, I had to pay for a 2nd work up at my mechanic, patronized and gaslit, and I had to buy another set of tires because the ones with about 600 miles on them were completely ruined.. not to mention I literally almost died. The shop made good and fixed the alignment at no cost. I called the main office and Brain sold me the tires at their cost (a $15 savings from the original amount I paid), anyway, thats why they got a 3 on the stars. Im not ungrateful for trying to make it right but it wasn't enough. This has been a horrible experience to say the least and an honest review of my experience.

Mike was a great help and very professional. He is very knowledgeable and very helpful. We drove 2hrs. From NY, I we didn’t need an appointment to complete the car inspection. The entire process was done in 30min. Will definitely be returning to complete any car work I will need in the future.

Went in for state inspection. Total price is $82. Was very quick, in and out in less than 30 min, if that. Price on the board was $42 for inspection , but that doesn’t include emission, not sure why it’s listed if it is just a part of the mandatory requirement.

The best place with the best people! I had a flat tire last week and stopped by to see if they could help. They carefully inspected my car for about 50 minutes, explained the issue clearly, and told me it was fixed — no need to replace the tire. They even refused to take payment since it wasn’t actually a tire problem. I truly appreciate their honesty and professionalism! They are reliable, trustworthy, and kind. I’ll definitely come back here for any future car issues.

Very unprofessional experience. I spoke with Mark the day before and asked if I could drop my car off that evening since my wheel started shaking after hitting a pothole. He said that was fine since they don’t take appointments. Around 6 PM I left my car and placed my key in an envelope with my name, phone number, and the issue written on it and dropped it through the shop’s drop box. The next morning I called around 9:30 AM after hearing nothing. Mark told me he saw my car but couldn’t find my key. After putting me on hold and calling back about 40 minutes later, he asked if I actually left it and if I could bring another key. My car was already there, so that obviously wasn’t possible. While I was on my way to the shop with my mother because the situation made me uncomfortable, Mark called and said the key had been “found.” Apparently the manager had taken it earlier that morning without realizing it and left with it. When I arrived, I was told I should probably go somewhere else if I wasn’t comfortable with their services. At that point I agreed. However, I then had to wait over 40 minutes for my key to be returned. Eventually the manager’s wife came in and handed me the key while the manager himself stayed sitting in the car outside and never came in to address the situation. Losing a customer’s key, asking them to bring another one, and then making them wait nearly an hour while the manager avoids speaking to them is extremely unprofessional. I will also be submitting this incident to corporate for review because customers should not have to deal with situations like this.
