Definitely would not recommend. They left my car sitting outside for 5 days unlocked in the Sun. And Barry spoke to me in a condescending manner I really didn't appreciate. If there were going to Take 5 days to get to my car that I could have dropped it off 5 days later.

Stoney’s Auto is, WITHOUT QUESTION, the best shop in the Phoenix metro. GO. I promise — they’re worth every single penny, and they deserve every word of this and more. Car problems are usually overwhelming — expensive, confusing, and stressful — but they changed that entirely. From the moment I called (they got me in within 30 minutes), everything felt straightforward and honest. They diagnosed the issue quickly, explained what was going on clearly, and quoted me literally half of what a major mechanic shop tried to charge me. Other places were basically scamming me for problems that could’ve been fixed in a day. Since I had to stick around during the process, they actually placed the parts in my hand, showed me what was wrong, and walked me through how they were going to fix it: no gatekeeping, no pressure, just honesty (with some good jokes on the side). What stood out the most was how much they genuinely cared — not just about the car, but about making sure I understood everything and felt good about it. That kind of honesty and kindness is rare, especially in this industry. I ended up saving over $1,000, and my car now drives like it’s brand new (which is wild, considering the list of issues it had). It felt surreal driving off the lot with zero stress or doubts. I never thought I’d live to see that day hahahaha. When people say, “go with a family-owned shop,” they’re right. I was treated like family — through and through. To them: thank you.
