Frank has been our mechanic for 20 plus years. He has done "big" to small jobs on our various autos. He is honest and friendly. A wonderful person to do business with.

They know their stuff. They quickly diagnosed my Chevy Suburban problem (check engine light) and told me what it would cost to fix. Reasonable cost and professional work. I next brought my 05 Mercedes and they did a brake job with OEM parts and way below the dealers quote. I next had them repair my Mercedes AC when that went out. Saved me money again. Will use them again.

Finally a place where you walk in and see that these guys know what they're doing. Most shops are a gamble but I was very satisfied. These guys took care of me and I was able to leave with 100% confidence and satisfaction with my truck

I brought in my truck at 4pm Thursday and told frank that the computer was saying the camshaft position sensor A bank 1 was bad. He told me it would be ready Friday at 10 am. I called him at 1130 am to check on the vehicle, he told me they brought him the wrong part he said he expected the new part in an hour and would be able to fix it a half hour after he received it. At 3:20pm he calls me and said my truck is ready. I go down to his shop pay my bill and he gives me the keys and tells me it is around back. I go to my truck try to start it up, still has the same issue... I come back tell him it hasn't been fixed, he looks at it, makes a call tells me he replaced the wrong one. I ask why he said it was fixed when it clearly isn't he says cause he replaced the wrong one. I told him that he had to have noticed it wasn't fixed when he started it up. He tells me to leave it with him till Monday, I need the truck tomorrow so that's not feasible. I told him I wanted a refund, he gave me the refund which was the only positive portion of this review. I wouldn't come here again.

Frank goes way beyond the call of duty in repairing cars, and does it at a very fair price. This is the kind of guy that you can rely on for almost any question or problem you might have. If you've ever had a bad experience that made you feel all auto shops are only out for the money then you need to come here - Frank is definitely the exception to the rule.

This is the place for honest car repair without "made up" problems. We've used Frank's for over 3 years after being referred by a very satisfied friend, and the piece of mind is worth driving all the way from the east valley when we need car repairs. Thank you Frank!

I drove into town from Chicago for Christmas and New Years. On the road I heard clunking from my front passenger side and knew it was my sway bar link. I also needed a spark plug change since I just hit 100,000 miles on my 08 Nissan Sentra. Frank was so helpful over the phone and calmed my nerves being from another state. I tried calling other shops in the area that where well recommended. They where not helpful at all and tried to over charge me. I pulled up to the shop and I was welcomed with a friendly hello. Frank came out, checked the car and I even agreed to an oil change. Being from Chicago, rust on the sway bar link really gave the guys a problem but Frank stepped in and stayed calmed. He tackled the issue hard and resolved it. In all I was just there for 1hour and a half, got my tune up, oil change, fluids topped off and one pesky sway bar link changed. I just wish that I had a shop like Frank's in Chicago.

If there was a zero star I would give Mike that! We took my sons C7 Z06 Corvett, Mike had it the 1st time 3wks and $2,000... Then because he didn't do the first job correctly. We brought it back again that time he had to replace the entire torque tube.. Two and a half weeks and five thousand dollars later we picked the car up! Now a month and a half later it is back in another shop!!! A specialized auto shop... Lo and behold, the torque tube was out again because it was not put in properly. The correct torque pressure was not admittistered. Absolutely a shoddy job ( Which he did tell me he's never worked on this type of car before) and now we have to pay one more time the labor!!!! Please check Anywhere else in town before you take it to that shop!!! $7000 and five and a half weeks my sons was without his car!!!! Of course, when I asked Mike to rectify this, He would not....so once again ,we will have to pay somebody to replace and fix what he messed up. Beware!!!!

Around 1 1/2 years after taking my car here for just a replacement battery and I spark plug removal, I'm still affected by the decisions the owner made. Mike had to remove a jammed spark plug that was broken off inside the well. For that, I was charged over $300. He also recommended a battery replacement. I was sold an O'Reilly's Economy car battery for around $40 higher than it cost if you just go buy one there. The labor to replace that battery was $80. Steep. Especially since the battery had a bad cell. I dealt with that failing battery for a year before taking it back in to Mike's shop to see what the recurring problem was. I would play the radio after washing my car for 30 minutes, or just leave the key in the first position to charge my phone on occasion and my battery would be dead. I used every roadside call through my auto policy plus 3 out of 4 AAA service calls for the year just for jump starts. That's when I investigated enough to learn it was a bottom-of-the-line economy version. If I'd been consulted about what battery I would like to replace the one I had, NEVER WOULD I HAVE CHOSEN THAT ONE. It's Arizona. The heat here commands more forethought. At $179, it never occurred that it was a cheap choice, and one that must have sat around the shop for a long time. On the day I brought it in, the O'Reilly's rep happened to be there, tested it, and found the bad cell. I spent nights in parking lots and on the side of the road over that bad battery. They replaced it with another one that really wasn't right for a 2013 Acura Tl, 6 cylinder. Well, that battery didn't last very long. In about 5 months, AAA was rescuing me from another parking lot and I was grateful to buy their premium battery for just under $300. They tested my 2nd replacement from Vintage Motors, stating it was also a bad battery. I saved the documentation in case I end up in small claims status. You see, after having problems with that second one, I took my car back to Mike's shop begging for answers. I was afraid to shut the car off because it needed a jump start about half the time. On this visit, it was necessary to use a jump box in order to be able to leave, but the game changer that day, was that Mike forgot which battery terminal was positive and cross polarized my battery. The result was him sending his partner all the way to the Acura dealership to buy a blown fuse to correct his mistake. I asked for the name of the fuse he had to buy, but never got a direct answer. He even played it off (that's a lie in my book) telling me the locations of positive and negative are different in my car. I don't buy that now. I drove away with still-unanswered problems. I turned on the stereo, but nothing happened. I tried rolling up my window, nothing. My electrical system was damaged. After getting help from a friend, who helped me replace some fuses that had blown, I called Mike to inform him about the electrical issues. He wanted to put me on the calendar 3 weeks out. I experienced speakers that got dimmer and louder just by accelerating and braking and my window sometimes went up when I pressed the down button. I arrived at Vintage Motors after 3 weeks with a list of malfunctions and a big box of blue #15 fuses because my front accessory port was blowing one every few days by then. Mike wasn't at work that day, despite my scheduling this follow up almost a month before. His partner, Steven, entertained me while I showed him the obvious damage by taking him along on a ride where I showed him the way my speakers got loud when I drove faster, then got quiet and cut out intermittently when the car slowed down. Amazingly, her couldn't hear what I was living with since the jump box incident. What do you do next!?!? When someone claims they aren't hearing the damaged sound system!?!? I left that day, but called Mike again on a day when it was obvious the problem was getting even worse. Two packages of fuses later, I threatened court and he wanted me to come in in a month. I'm done playing and I'm taking him to small claims now. Acura charges $400 todx.

This is my got to guy most definitely, he is well informed and straight up with diagnosing problems with your car. Been going to him over a year now and I've always been more than satisfied with his work and his prices. Even have my car savvy friend who always does his own jobs on his cars to start bringing his cars for certain jobs because Frank does such a great job for the right price. It's rare to find such an honest mechanic but they exist and Frank is that mechanic. A+++

I have brought my car, my mom's car and referred several friends to Frank. Not once has he ever disappointed me. He and his son are always very helpful and are completely honest. There have been multiple occasions where they have helped me with my vehicle and not even charged me. I really feel they are in the business to help people and not take advantage. I read a bad review and could not believe it, but everyone has an off day and in the end if you read the review Frank made it right. He did that because that is the type of person he is. It certainly was not the norm for his shop. I will always recommend him! He has a loyal customer in me.

We took our vehicle to Frank after a friend recommended his shop to us. Our vehicle was having shifting trouble, little did we know it was due to a leak caused by work another shop did a couple weeks before. He fixed it for us, and when the leak started happening again a couple months later, he fixed it again free of charge. We have taken this car to Frank a couple times and he has always been honest and transparent about what needs to be done, and always does the work at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Frank to anyone.

Mike and his crew at Vintage Motors are THE best. The are always thorough, communicative and prices can't be beat. We have been taking our fleet vehicles to his company for over 18months and never once have we ever been steered wrong. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a TRUSTWORTHY mechanic. No scams, no bs, all honest work.
