This was a rather rundown car wash and some of the functions on the selector for the washer spray didn't work. The car really needed cleaning and I was looking for a car wash and I will look for a different one next time. And by the way I actually have found another one now over on Route 65 near Walmart and it is much better.

The owner Danny is the kindest and most honest mechanic you’ll meet. Him and his crew do great and timely work. Hagerstown is lucky to still have such a wonderful local mechanic .

One of the only places I've ever felt comfortable getting any kind of work done on my car. They go a great job and don't upcharge you with anything unnecessary.

This is one of the Hagerstown best kept secrets of a self-serve car wash. It is never busy. I have never had to wait to wash my vehicle ever. They also have to vacuum cleaner stations. I have never had an issue with their vacuum cleaner stations working. They're also very economically priced. If I had to wash my car on a Sunday afternoon and did not want to wait in the long lines like other ones I always go here. I have never had an issue with this car wash. I would always be respectful two other customers but I've never had anyone say anything to me about bucket washing my car in one of the bays. If you want to take your time wash your car and not feel rushed I would definitely go here. It's available 24/7 and it's fairly well let for the washing area.

Few car repairs nowadays are cheap. But Sullivan's is more competitive than most and the work is good. We've been using them for about 12 years especially on the older cars. Service has always been excellent, and recommendations straight forward. If it doesn't need done they'll tell you so, and not add things to fluff the bill. Thanks guys!

They were able to get my van in quickly to see what was wrong with it. I received a call back promptly and the pricing was decent, so I had them fix the issue. It was fixed same day, and so far, van has been running smoothly. Will definitely go back if/when we have any more issues!

Service from Danny and crew is unmatched in Washington County. If you want your vehicle fixed right the first time, don't hesitate to take your vehicle here for repairs. Expensive? No, you can't put a price on quality.

Don’t waste your time here. A family member of mine brought there car in for a coolant leak out of the heater hose the mechanic working on the car broke the hose and then charged him $500+ in repairs he then brought it back in hopes to be fixed correctly and they wanted another 300+ to fix what they broke. Worst place in the world to get your vehicle fixed don’t bother with them.

Wow! I can't say enough great things about Sullivan's Virginia Ave, Shell. Danny is honest! (I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra that has not had consistent maintenance (my fault) I needed break work and he gave me a price, but he had a look on his face, I asked him what was the look. He said I can fix the break issue, but there is maintenance that needs done on you car now, and if you don't do it, the timing belt could go at any moment and the break job will have been for nothing. The repairs were expensive but way less than a new-used car. I picked up my car yesterday, and it feels like I'm driving a new car. If you want honesty, go see Danny Sullivan. Ask him the questions you're afraid to ask... he will be honest. He's a good man. He's been working on my car on and off for about 8 years.... the same car!

This place doesn't even deserve one star. I brought my car in for a coolant leak repair, and they not only failed to fix it, but they actually made the leak significantly worse. Instead of offering any kind of compensation or even a discount, they wanted me to pay for another overpriced repair. To top it off, when I came to pick up my car, there was a literal puddle of coolant under it! The customer service was just as bad; I was treated like a nuisance instead of a paying customer. Do yourself a favor and go to a different mechanic. And if you ignore this warning and still go here, at least buy your own parts to avoid getting ripped off with their insane markups. Ended up paying $80 for a $30 hose and $120 for a $20 thermostat absolutely ridiculous.

My family has been dealing with the shop for at least ten years through numerous vehicles. Friendly mechanics and the guys take time to explain the repairs needed.

Sullivan’s Virginia Avenue Shell Service Center has always treated me right. Oil changes, repairs, you name it — fast, fair, and done correctly. The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to trust. It’s hard to find shops like this anymore. Highly recommend!
