I had a terrible experience with [Company Name]. My car was towed without any notice, from a legal parking spot. When I called to get more information, the staff were rude, unhelpful, and gave inconsistent answers. They charged me an outrageous fee ($[amount]) and only accepted cash, which is a major red flag. The lot was in terrible condition, and the receipt had minimal or incorrect information. I later found out they’ve done this to others in the area. This company appears to prey on people with shady practices and may even be violating local laws. Biggest scammers stay away please do not support this business

Worst experience ever — complete scam! I came to Plaza First to grab some food and parked in the lot right there. After that, I walked just two stores down to quickly pick up one more thing. I was gone for maybe 10 minutes max. When I came back, I saw my car already being towed! This is nothing but a money grab. The towing company and the lot owner are clearly working together to trap people. No warning, no grace period — just wait for someone to step off the lot for a second and boom, they snatch your car. It feels like dealing with the mafia. They don’t care about helping the community or running a fair business — it’s just about taking your car and charging ridiculous fees to get it back. Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid this place at all costs. Don’t shop here, don’t park here, and don’t support businesses that let this kind of predatory behavior happen.

Scammer alert: Beware of getting towed by this company and, if possible, avoid parking/shopping at 1010 South Paterson Plaza. This company towed my car on Sunday 1/21/2024 at 2pm from 1010 South Paterson Plaza and charged me $300 (no receipts, no explanation of charges). I called them in less than 10 minutes after they had picked my car and I was told to pay $300 to get my car back. Imagine $300 for a parking violation (less than 10 minutes) even though the plaza clearly mentions 1-hour parking limit with no instructions for consumers regarding parking specification for in-plaza customers only (see attached photo). The charges as mentioned are $195 plus $45 storage fee but they will charge you an additional $60 saying that’s an early pick up fee even though the instructions don’t specify early pick up charges and absolutely no mention of closure on Sundays. They also damage your car in towing. My car is making some unexpected noises now. So if you are ever towed by this company, make sure you check your car before you leave the lot because that maybe an additional $ for the repair.

They towed my car within 5 minutes without any proper notice and then demanded $300 — way more than what’s posted on their sign. Even worse, they threatened not to give my car back even if I paid! They were rude, aggressive, and intimidating the whole time. This is not a legitimate business — it’s a trap set up to steal money from innocent people. BE CAREFUL. Report them if you can. The tow fee is $195 in this picture, and the storage car rate is $45; however, the guy told us that there is a late charge fee as well. Where is it written? No where, and then the guy I spoke with was very rude, which makes no sense considering I was planning to head to Antepli Baklava 2 after my coffee. They are simply making money. There was no receipt or nothing I told the guy to give me the Email and name of the owner he said it’s too long i don’t know. He just showed me the QR code and said $300. And it’s Saturday night I just parked there to GET MY COFFEE for 5 minutes. VERY RUDE

I wish I could give them zero stars. The staff were extremely rude and repeatedly asked about my nationality in a mocking way. They insulted me multiple times while I was simply asking why payment had to be in cash. Because of their discriminatory and unprofessional behavior, I will be filing a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities. No one should be treated this way.

I was parked for under five minutes when my car was immediately towed. I stopped the driver and asked to resolve the issue on the spot by paying, but he ignored me and continued anyway. I was then forced to pay $280 with added fees that were completely unnecessary. This is clearly predatory behavior and feels like a scam rather than legitimate enforcement.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! i wish i could give them zero stars. this is the worst towing company ull every find. towed my car within 15 mins from plaza in paterson and charged me $280 for 0.5 mile, charged me storage evwn though i got it released in 5mins after tow charged me for late release fee which makes no sense as well. stay away from this plaza, dnt every get your cars tow from this company discourage them by not giving them any business. they looting people.

My experience at this plaza was extremely upsetting and felt predatory. The towing situation here comes across as a coordinated setup that takes advantage of unsuspecting drivers. We parked briefly, and when we returned, our car was gone—no notice, no warning, no visible tow-away signs where we had parked, and no ticket left behind. We eventually discovered it had been taken by a nearby towing company that charged us $280 in cash, despite a sign stating $250. To make things worse, we were forced to walk through a dark, unfamiliar neighborhood late at night The entire situation felt unsafe, intimidating, and deeply concerning. Based on this experience, I strongly believe this plaza and the towing practices connected to it should be reviewed and investigated by the proper authorities. I will ensure this action takes place. EDIT: Earlier I wrote the owner smoked, I was incorrect, but I stand by the stench of weed all over the area. There were individuals on site smoking and it was very difficult to breath in that air.

When I asked for a ticket or any paperwork, the man rudely said there was no ticket while smoking a cigarette in my face. He was aggressive, dismissive, and clearly didn’t care about treating people with any respect. We had to walk through a dark, unsafe neighborhood in the middle of the night with our 4-year-old child to reach the lot. The whole experience felt threatening and unsafe. This is not a legitimate operation. It’s set up to take advantage of people and scare them into paying. We were just relieved to get our car back, but the experience was deeply upsetting. 🚫 Avoid this plaza at all costs. 📣 Report them if you can. No one should go through this.

WARNING – STAY AWAY! This place is running a predatory towing scam. We parked in the plaza to eat, and when we returned the next day to go to another restaurant in the same plaza, they towed our car within minutes. Employees even said the owner watches people through cameras and tows cars on purpose if you don’t immediately walk into a store. They literally wait and target people to make money. Our car was gone with no ticket, no notice, no explanation, and no paperwork at all. We were forced to pay $280 in cash to get the car back. The tow lot was in an extremely unsafe area, and they told us the exact minute we stepped off the property — which means they were watching us the entire time. This is not normal towing; this is harassment and a trap. This place operates like a mafia-style scam, preying on customers so they can tow and collect money. Avoid this plaza and their towing company at all costs. Do not park here, do not shop here, and do not support a business that mistreats people like this.
