Brought a car in here, they held it for 7 weeks with pretty abysmal communication. I can forgive how long it took but the lack of communication is low class. Will not be returning here.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give them negative stars I would. I was told my car was done, water pump replaced. $644???? Then I dragged a friend of mine out to go get it, the garage had closed by this time. I go to crank it and nothing. It would crank but no fire. I left them messages as well as a note to call me first thing in the morning. I was highly PO'd due to the amount of money I spent as well as having to drag my friend out there with me. Well come morning time I had not heard a thing from them. So I reached out to him and I was met with an attitude and $240 more dollars for SPARK PLUGS. When I came to get it, it started up ONE TIME!!!! Now it takes about 67 cranks to get it fired. Don't go here!!!

This guy is a scam artist. Lied about the condition of an item, sent an employee to pick it up. It was totally unusable with visa le aged damage. Called him to return it, and he laughed and began talking down to us and hung up. 775.00 Stolen. Be Warned.

Tommy is a very dishonest. Brought my vehicle to his business for a timing chain and he screwed up the job and the engine blew. Brought it back to him and he said it wasn't his fault because the engine had no oil in it that is why it blew. Well it is his fault seeing he was the last to work on it. Asked him to replace the engine with a good low mileage used one. Charged me for it and never replaced it. All he did was rebuild the top half of the engine. I wouldn't trust him at all. Scam artist!!

I am editing my review of 5 stars for having a good meeting to a 5 star review after having work done. I bought a 1927 roadster truck and am not a mechanic. This vehicle had several fluid leaks from age and sitting a while. I brought it to T&L not knowing what would happen. They were able to repair many seals and such at a very reasonable price. I believe quality work at a good price can be found at this business.

Immediate help, fast work, low price with good advice. Great feel to the place. Well worth the trip to Clemmons. They handle everything mechanical or electrical. Will provide bodywork, but not their forté. Restorations ('35 Hudson Teraplane and hot rodded pickup) pictured are examples of their work and sense of humor. Note the hardwood inlaid truck bed. They weren't too snooty to work on my old Toyota Camry wagon with 230,000 miles on her, yet there were late-model vehicles in the shop. They speak racing motorcycles here. In fact, one of the owners is a champion driver many times over.

I know any time I have a problem with my car, Tommy knows what to do to fix it no matter what it is! I drop it off, and Melissa always calls me to let me know what needs to be fixed and the cost.
