I stop by this location for the first time. I have visited other Take 5s, but I prefer the service I received here. They all seem to be the same, but I like the two guys who fix my car and who suggested I get new air filters, which I didn't like, but I need them. đI'm sorry, I don't remember their names, but it was on Sunday, the 23rd of November at the Lafayette Street location in Tallahassee, Florida. Thank you,u guys, and for your service . I'll see you next time, you two are stuck with me now đ!!!!

The service guy broke the top of my oil dip stick off and wouldn't give me any other assistance to get my oil and other fluids checked. I need someone to contact me regarding this matter đ© I only wanted my fluids checked because of the weather please help. Here's a picture of the top of my car oil dipstick that was broken offin Saturday January 31, 2026 I'm a elderly lady on benefits I'm not happy that this situation happened unexpectedly never would have happened if the service guy would have taken his time and been patient I know it was cold still not an excuse he should have just left it if he couldn't get it out. I can't afford to pay for something someone else did. I usually go to the dealership but they were already closed.

Quinton and manager (Brandon I believe) are just fantastic. Theyâve serviced me for two oil changes. Theyâre cordial and clearly masters at their craft. Every auto place will always upcharge you, but these guys are honest and clearly take pride in their work. They will take the time to show you under your hood, educate you on your car, and suggest necessary services. Iâve been to many take 5 locations, and this one is always the best!

I had to travel last minute and couldnât see my usual place (Tommy Tâs) for my oil change. The assistant manager at Take 5 tried to upsell me on a lot, which I expected. But then he came to show me a measuring tool full of the âcoolantâ from my engine that had supposedly degraded completely into water, making it urgent that I flush and replace it soon before temps dropped to freezing. After my trip, I took my car to my usual people to check coolant, and they said it was still pink and perfect (and didnât charge me to check it!) which means the guy at Take 5 pulled water out of who-knows-where to lie, and try and scare me into buying a service I absolutely didnât need. Will never return.

I came and got the best service of my life! Brandon and a young man there I think they called him Q both very polite very professional helped me out showed me where my oil should be even put in an air filter and a cabin filter that I brought from somewhere else because my husband had bought them for me They were kind enough to put them in I was embarrassed to ask but they made me feel so comfortable. They also showed me where my antifreeze and water mixture should be they filled up all my fluids and were very knowledgeable and explained to everything to me. I'm an older woman sometimes I don't feel like I know as much as I should but these two young men treated me like it I was their mother and it made me feel so good They were so kind I will definitely be returning to this location for all my oil changes They have earned a lifetime customer.

I had a very good experience at the Take 5 on Lafayette and Magnolia in Tallahassee. My car had alerted me that I needed maintenance. I assumed it was referring to a needed oil change. An honest mechanic named Alex checked my record in the computer and saw that I had 2000 more miles before I needed an oil change. He checked my oil and other important things, including the air in my tires. I very much appreciate his honesty and plan to return to that Take 5 when I do need an oil change.

Worst time I have ever spent at a take 5. The manager Jakoi was so rude cocky and arrogant. He literally suggested we learn how to change our own oil from now on because we did not want to replace my air filter with him. And was talking to the other guy how lazy us college kids are and never learn how to do things our self. Which was ironic sence my boyfriend did know how to change oil but being in an apartment because of college makes it hard but judging how he never went to college he couldn't put that together. This man was clearly an idiot because his job literally depends on us not changing our own oil.... Go to the other take 5 oil down the road have had better service there.
