My oil change took an hour. Even with the $25 new customer coupon it was still $90 after tax. Staff didn’t explain anything even after I expressed it was my first visit. Slow, expensive, didnt feel taken care of. Won’t be back.

I will never use take5 here in Wichita Falls to change my oil, this has been the second time they have done me wrong on pricing. After my first visit the manager had said he would give me a 75% discount for my dealing with the assistant manager, (they have a big sign out in front of the store that give 25% discount for military, first responders and veterans, I have both veteran and a first responders ID) the assistant manager told me that they only offer 25% on certain days. Which was not true after talking with the manager he said it was everyday .Second time I went, same person, started to argue about pricing again, while trying to sell me different services. I did get some what of a discount which was a 44% discount, my personal opinion is I want them to be more honest and honor what is posted. I hope no one else has to deal with this type of situation. Very bad experience.

Their attempts at upselling me on various filters and services were persistent to the point of discomfort. After having been a customer for years, this is the reason I will now be getting my oil changes elsewhere. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the products or services.

This was my first visit to Take 5 but Christian was very thorough and efficient and he got me in and out of there as quickly as possible. He was not pushy or overly sales-y but he made sure to offer all the services he thought would benefit me. I never got the feeling that he was talking down to me or anything like that that is typical for me in that type of setting. And to top it off my kids and I were immediately handed water bottles for the wait since there were cars in front of us. I will absolutely be back for services in the future.

Just happened to be in town when it was time for oil change. Thought I'd give Take5 a shot. Price was rather high compared to my normal oil change place. They did check other things not associated with oil change and offer other services, to which I declined due to price. Time spent here was kind of longer than I anticipated it would take. They have a sign when exiting to horn if you received good service, mechanic told me to honk horn to make sure it was working as I exited, trickery to receive a honk of satisfaction.

Awful guest service by manager Trent. Didn’t do everything they were suppose to do. Didn’t even check my levels or clean my windshield or even put air in my tires after I told them to check them. I had to ask again before they tried to shove me out the door before anything else was done. Handed me my checkout slip before they even did anything. Been going here along time first time I ever went that I didn’t feel they went above and beyond. Didn’t even check my ac filters . Literally put oil and a filter on for 80.00!

DO NOT COME HERE - I just got done waiting half an hour for an oil change just for them to tell me that they “only have the premium services right now” and would only charge me for the higher tiers. I’m pretty sure they were lying just to fill some quota, so I left and all my time was wasted. DO NOT get your oil changed here if you want quick and affordable service.

They explained what they were going to do and didn’t do anything without asking first.it was a bit more pricy than I had been paying but my car sounds way better after the service. These guys are awesome! I had an oil leak a few weeks back and asked them if they could just check to see if my car was leaking oil. Christian gladly assisted me and found that the oil cap was loose on my car and closed it. He even checked all my fluids to make sure everything looked good. I realized later that I lost almost all my oil in my tank because it was leaking out from the loose cap. I was so grateful for the amazing customer service these guys provided! I'll be back for an oil change here from now on.

It was roughly 93 degrees that day. The attendant immediately handed me and my son some cold water. The let me know what service would apply to my car. I made a choice and the service was provided very efficiently. They checked tire pressure all around and corrected them. Then they checked the air filters and advised they didn’t need to be replaced as yet. Honesty. That’s unusual. Very pleasant experience.

October 2, 2025 I was looking for a good place to change my car's oil when I got off work. I called Take 5 and spoke to Megan, she was polite and even sent me a $25 off coupon. I was like okay, this place might be worth a try. I got there, and drove up into the garage. While a guy took my info, I popped the hood and another guy started the oil change process. I had asked for economy, and the guy started telling me about premium. Then all I could see through the lifted hood space were three guys talking. I've been to places where they try to upsell their customers, and started rethinking my choice to try this place. When two guys come up to my window showing me my oil, and said my oil was still golden. Asking when I had changed my oil last? Even though I had all my fluids and tires checked monthly, my oil had not been changed since January 2024. They were amazed at how good my oil looked and said I did not need my oil changed. They were polite and took the time to explain things to me. During my oil change the service tech removed the airfilter to show me what it looked like, I told them I was going to replace it. I purchased a new filter after the oil change and found one of the three screws had not been tightened, and the windshield fluid cap was left off, and oil that had dripped off during the change was not wiped up. I attempted to call and talk to someone, but no one would answer the phone.

Take 5 is my favorite place to have my car serviced. They use Mobil One, they don’t try to up sale me. For example, the technician told me my air filter was fine and did not need replacing. But I did need to have my radiator flushed and he explained why. The technicians are knowledgeable and professional. I choose Take 5 every time.
