These guys are great. My car started fine this morning, but when I went out at lunchtime to run some errands the car wouldn't even turn over. I couldn't tell if it was the alternator or just a dead battery. Called Tarleton Oak Service Center and in ten minutes they had come to me (to save me a potential tow expense), checked to see if it was the alternator or battery, found it was the battery, and gave me a jump to get the car going so that I could drop it off with them for a new battery before the end of business today. When I called my dealership about this (I called them first), they told me to have it towed to them and they could squeeze me in sometime next week. Tarleton Oak, you guys rock!

I left my car to get the timing belt replaced, and was told I would get a call back when the car would be ready. I never got a call back, and when I called and was able to pick up my car a week later I found out they'd tuned up my car without letting me know and that this apparenty DOUBLED the original price quoted to me earlier in the week, for an already expensive repair. Nobody from Tarleton Oaks called me at any point to let me know. The work was alright but I really wouldn't recommend this shop if you want upfront communication about the price and the work getting done on your car.

So grateful to Wayne and Tarleton Oak Service Center! I was in town just for the weekend and had some scary break issues upon arriving to Charlottesville. Wayne diagnosed them, replaced the caliper and cleaned the breaks and turned the car around for me the same day so that I could get home with my car that next morning. He was super kind and went out of his way to make sure it would be done for me despite them closing early. Cost was very fair and Wayne's communication was great - highly recommend for folks in the area. Thanks again Wayne!

The regulator on my drivers side window broke this morning. Imagine having to leave your car IN CHARLOTTESVILLE with a wide open window!
