PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, PROFICIENT -- AND PLEASANTLY PRICED : . If your surgeon is this good, you're lucky! My 1998 E320 Benz 4Matic Wagon had an intermittent, difficult-to-reproduce starting problem that was leaving me stranded at the worst possible times. Calls to MB-USA & trips to authorized dealers left everyone puzzled -- until I brought it in to the Tecknica Team. QUESTION: Why does a Mercedes have four wheels? ANSWER: To keep the computer chips from dragging on the ground (so the cynical joke goes.) Still, over half the problems I've had in 38 years and five MBs are beyond the scope of all but the most experienced and technically savvy mechanics. Many independents make a quick guess without really listening to the driver (particularly women!) -- then just "swap parts" until the problem is "solved," without ever discovering the underlying cause -- like a physician too busy to diagnose, hoping a broad-spectrum antibiotic will make the problem go away. NOT Tecknica. Out comes the oscilloscope, multimeter and the diagnostic tools to find the REAL cause so you won't have to return for another "guess." Courteous, friendly, reasonable rates and a real guarantee the real problem is found and fixed -- even the little ones that haven't YET grown into big ones. This IS a local business, which I appreciate, But if I had a problem with Benz, BMW, Audi -- or any technically complex machine -- even 100 miles away -- I'd still say "Tow Me To Tecknica!"

Too busy to work on cars even if you have parts and wait months. After waiting two months and sourcing all the parts for the job he took my car for three days and did nothing. If you're gonna go here maybe do it in 6 months or a year when he can handle managing his time correctly. He completely wasted my time and now it's costing me money to not have a vehicle for work. Two stars because he didn't charge for diagnostic.

I went there because my engine made a lot of noise.Jose checked my engine without charging me. Unfortunately, it was the end of my Hyundai Santa Fe 2007. He took 1hour of his work time to explain me the problem of piston and injection. And instead of taking my money to change my engine ($1000 at least), he told me to give my old car to vehicle retirement and with this money buy a other car. He showed me on his computer how apply online at the Consumer Assistance program. I’m new in this country and I had never heard about this program. I was so lucky to go at tecknica automotive and found Jose, an honest man. Moreover, he wrote a list of old reliable cars I could buy and the adress of Buggy bank. And to finish, he told me when he could check the car before I buy it. In conclusion, Jose is an honest and professional worker.

This is my first call when I have any car trouble. I’ve tried to get to this shop but both times I’ve called with my car problems, they have referred me to excellent outside specialists. Once he told me my shaking car was probably tires and just get new tires. He was right. The other time he referred me to a mobile ac specialist who did an excellent job. Eventually I’ll actually go over therebut for now this is absolutely the first place I call when I have any car trouble.

I had problems with my brake system ( brake pedal so spongy and go all the way doing to the floor ) I lost 70% of brake power I can barely stop the car in a low speed . I took my car to Jose cuz a friend of mine recommended him and it was a great choice . Jose is a nice honest guy he spend time explaining all the details about the problem in your car and inform you for everything he did to the car . The price also is reasonable . I’m happy with the results.
