Please ignore my previous unfinished review! I thought my 2003 Mazda was a goner, it was falling apart! But Ted Wiens on Fremont Street in Las Vegas made that old car run like new! I highly recommend them for their integrity, their caring management, and their Ace mechanics! -- not to mention their pleasant waiting area with water and free fresh coffee, as well as their sparkling clean restroom!

The service at Ted Weins has been exceptional every time I’ve had a service done there. I’ve been getting my cars serviced there for over 10 years. I’ve noticed that they are helpful and respectful of everyone. Which says a lot about them. And if you get a Ted Weinstein Firestone credit card you get amazing discounts. Poor staff service and attitude by manger and upper staff behavior making videos embarrassing women when she is experiencing repair shop issues . Made long wait times wrong diagnostics twice and behavior still childish . This place did me wrong and yes I keep all recipets and I keep my Truck serviced and running!!

Such a wonderful experience. Especially with the store manager Frank. I hit a pothole, my front left tire popped, and I immediately came to this auto service since it was the closest. I frankly didn't know what to do because I was just panicking. But thankfully Frank, he took me in after a few minutes. One of the workers put the spare tire. He didn't accept any money from me, so I gave the worker a tip as a thank you. I feel cared for and I would gladly come again! Thank you, Frank!

I had a very disappointing experience at this auto service center. The front desk representative was rude, short, and completely unhelpful with my issue. When I initially called, he told me he’d call me back—he never did. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went into the center in person, but the same thing happened again. He took my number, said someone would get back to me later that day, and once again, I received no follow-up. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is frustrating. I expected at least a simple call back or some communication. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place based on how I was treated.

Moving to the area recently we had no idea where to go for auto care, a friend recommended Ted Wiens. Every member of staff we spoke with was kind and respectful as well as not one person treated us as dumb women. A reliable shop with a good reputation. To my family it’s worth spending a few more dollars for the reliable, quick service. Have been taking my cars here for years. Clem at the front is always friendly and when he recommends additional services I now listen after learning the hard way and having to have my car towed in for service! At this point I know he’s not trying to make a few extra unnecessary bucks. Great customer service and only the occasional hiccup here and there that was quickly and more than fairly resolved. I highly recommend.

Plenty of clean spacious parking. I didn't have to wait long unfortunately I found out why. The tire were not rotating, while it was claimed that the were on my Frontier. The cover to the bottom of my truck was not placed back onto the vehicle. I am truly disappointed in the technicians work. I will be finding a new location and please be aware of the work done on your car.

Brought my 2012 Mitsubishi Galant for an alternator/battery connection problem. They originally quoted me an ungodly amount but After discussing the price we were able to negotiate which I greatly appreciated. In the end they gave me a very fair price on the repair, I highly recommend this shop for classic vehicles as well. Hardly any shop in town can be trusted with a classic car and they haven’t disappointed me. Usually bring in my 1971 Dodge Demon for routine maintenance. Kenny, Chilo, Freddy, and Frank helped me out and were super cool as always. Highly recommend this shop, they’re more than fair and super chill guys. Thanks!

4/8/25. Time for an annual oil change. All done in one hour ! Great service from the Wiens team. Thank you. Yesterday (9/13/24) was another fabulous day because I now got all the outstanding services items for my Fiat Abarth completed. The last one was a biggie and I had several long conversations with Frank Gutierrez, the Manager at Wiens on Sahara Ave in Las Vegas, who personally took an interest in this exercise to plan it all. This time we needed to take care of the CV axles, a very important item which consists of 3 large and heavy items that need to be serviced every 100,000 miles or so based on the User Manual. A visual inspection showed some parts needed to be replaced which would require the mechanics to physically remove the drive axles, install news boots and bearings etc and reinstall them. It totally floored me that the job was completed in less that TWO hours by one of Wiens's guys who specializes in drive trains etc. It's great to just have these special repair folks available in one repair and maintenance shop. Awesome job. Thanks Wiens! It's that time of the year again and I am getting ready for the annual SMOG Check. My OBDII reader showed t two of the monitors showed incomplete. In talking with Frank G and Dan V. at Wiens, we decided to replace 3 of the sensors to ensure that the car would pass it's SMOG Check. Dan installed these sensors in less than one hour. WOW??. He knows his stuff and I am confident that the car will sail through the inspection next month. Thanks, Fred Wiens! My most recent trip to Ted Wiens was to recharge my A/C system on my recently purchased car that also had a leak because of a damaged air cooler. I was surprised to see the equipment that is needed to perform that task and it includes a leak test with a yellow dye that shows if there are some other leaks that did not get dealt with. It's a very expensive service so I was very happy to see that I got a 6 month warranty on the recharge. Of course I used my Wiens Credit card or charge card. So, it is time for an update as I have made several visits to take care of my car's maintenance. I did have a Dashboard light indicating an under-boost issue with one more underlaying turbo plumbing related code that "popped" up during the repair of the underboost and that added another sensor replacement on the list of things to take care off. That's what you get when you want to buy a car that does not have enough history information although my car had almost 40 entries in the CARFAX report. It did not itemize / detail the service activities that had been done. The folks at Wiens told me about a Credit Card, yes a TED WIENS credit card that provides some benefits to the user as well as some credit facilities. So I got that. Thanks Ted Wiens! Last month I did my most recent service / maintenance appointment. My car is running great. My assigned mechanic was great. Pricing for labor was reasonable and that is something important in these times. Original review below. I bought a great "old" car . It will be a real classic in 10-15 years. And, I knew I was going to need maintenance and lots of mechanic support. This is my story until now. There will be several posts because my car is special..really special. .See the pictures. My search got me to Ted Wiens, E. Fremont Street in Las Vegas who turns out to have a great set of people, a variety of skills and the willingness to go the extra mile. The TPMS Whisperers 🚗💨 Honestly, it’s no mystery why these folks have such stellar reviews—they clearly have a PhD in ‘Dealing with Annoying Car Lights.’ I rolled in with my TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) sensors acting like a moody teenager. They reset the sensors, but my car decided to have a brief identity crisis and forgot the settings immediately. I headed back, and they handled the ‘round two’ reset so fast I barely had time to finish a thought. Everyone was incredibly professional and nice, even though my car was being a total drama queen. If your dashboard is yelling at you, this is the place to go!

DESTROYED! They installed the new tires I bought and back home, I could not reprogram my pressure sensors. I was wondering why until I requested another mecanic to go investigate the problem… They destroyed my genuine GMC tire pressure sensors! They never told me, hide it, and refused any responsability. They are not reliable, not fair, not responsible and overall, totaly not professional.
