I recently had my vehicle in the shop for repairs, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. My car was in the shop for over two months, and during that entire period, I received very little communication from the repair facility. It felt like I was constantly chasing them for updates. I had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic information about the status of the repair, and each time, the response was either vague or non-existent. What made the situation worse was the lack of transparency with both me and my insurance company. I had to contact my insurer multiple times to ask for updates, only to find that the repair shop had failed to provide them with the necessary information or documentation. It was incredibly disappointing to feel like my car—and my time—was being completely disregarded. After two months of waiting, I finally got the car back, but the whole process was extremely stressful and time-consuming. Communication is key in any service industry, and this experience left a lot to be desired. I would think twice before trusting this shop with any future repairs.

As these are the first words you will read in this review, I would NOT recommend you use this shop. I had my truck taken into the shop last year around March of 2023, the amount of issues and run around I had to deal with just to get my truck back in a poor condition. More than poor actually, somehow they managed to misalign my passenger door, very noticeable. Worst of all, the bed of my truck was not bolted down. Excuses were given, ultimately the blame was dumped on a “ex-employee,” very convenient. They said free of charge they would replaced the hardware with brand new. Anyways as there was no shops with fast availability I decided to try my hand at TexLand once more. Big mistake. Also in hopes the truck bed issue would be resolved. What was supposed to be a quick 18 day repair has quickly turned into 2 months. With the last 3-4 weeks being; “it’s going into paint next week” or “it should be ready by the end of next week.” Customer service is next to non-existent as I have been put on hold, ignored, hung up on, etc too many times to count. I sit here and type this reply in hopes to steer anyone away from experiencing this. Also as they continue to hold my truck hostage for who knows how long.

Let me just say the customer service that was provided at the location off Florida in Midland, TX went above and beyond my expectations! I hate that I had to take my car to the shop but if i had to do it all over again I would 1000% go there and recommend them for the paint and body work. Shop was very timely in getting parts and performing my repairs. My car was completely flooded from the rain and would not start. So far it is running well as you see in the video. I recently had my brand new pick up at their shop, recommended by State Farm for hail damage. The body work they completed was "fair but not great" but they literally trashed the inside of my vehicle which had less than 2000 miles. The interior looked like it had been used as an oilfield truck. I was repeatedly reminded that they were "short handed", but assured the interior would be restored to the condition it was in when it was delivered to their shop. I did NOT receive my truck back in PRISTINE CONDITION and will now have to pay to have it detailed myself, there is some type of fine shavings all over the interior. They did attempt to wipe the surfaces but left streaking through out, there are hand prints on the interior roof and a rattle somewhere on the left dash (which is driving me crazy). I was also reminded by Alex at the shop "Well we live in West Texas." The windows had never even been rolled down on the truck prior to taking it to them. I'm really just heartbroken over the whole ordeal and would not recommend the shop at all. State Farm informed me that I had the right to receive my vehicle back in the condition I took it in, and advised me to ask them to clean it, I do NOT trust that Texland could make that happen, the least they could do is pay for the interior to be detailed. Wish I had the photos that my husband took to upload, please proceed with caution if this shop is recommended.

What a frustrating experience with Texland Collision! The recent hail storm damaged my wife's car. I brought the vehicle in on July 3 for an estimate, but they “began repairs” before ever providing me with their estimate or getting my approval for work authorization. I was okay with it since the insurance was covering the costs anyways (first red flag). I always get at least three quotes before making large financial decisions as everyone should. They gave me an estimate that the car would be ready by July 25. But when I checked in that day I was disappointed to find that hardly any progress had been made. COMMUNICATION was the biggest and main issue throughout this process. I received zero calls for updates and no follow up communication despite being told I’d get call backs. They never confirmed my decision to proceed with repairs or provided any estimates. When I finally received the vehicle, there were some minor flaws in the paint like grains of sand or impurities they fixed which extended the wait. I believe that if I hadn’t reached out through the process the car would still be there to this day. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback. Mistakes happen, and while I can overlook long wait times or the need for re-repairs. Communication is important for a business to succeed. Providing updates and being honest on timelines is important. Even if it’s bad news for the customer. Along with properly inspecting cars before informing customers that they’re ready for pickup. This place came highly recommend from a friend. How they have good reviews is beyond me. Maybe I was just one of a few that had such a bad experience. They didn’t even seem too busy at the time. Regardless, first and last time coming here and definitely not recommended.

To say these guys were amazing is an understament. I got into an accident because of the snow, my whole bumper and passenger wheel hub was wrecked and they got our Mazda fixed up and back to us in a week and a half. A week and a half like what?! Just picked up my '14 Tundra from Texland. They did an exceptional job restoring it after the wreck. Great great great customer service. They were in contact with me if not every day, every other day to update me on the progress. Very quick service, had me fixed up and back on the road within 2 weeks (one week lost due to waiting on parts). I am not pleased with the transparency the Florida Street location provided and am mildly annoyed by the work. This is the first time I've been in an accident, so I have never dealt with insurance or body repair before. My car was at the Florida Street location for 4 months and 2 weeks. I've been driving my vehicle for approx. 6 days and have found an issue. For context, my vehicle is a 2025 Nissan Rogue, purchased in November of 2024, and taken into their care on June 30th, 2025. I chose this location because they accepted non-drivable tows, and at the time of my accident, repair shops who did that were hard to find. My experience with them accepting my vehicle was pleasant and gave me confidence in their brand. After the first 3 weeks, that confidence turned into annoyance. As my insurance rental was coming to an end, I decided to reach out to the shop. Since I hadn't heard from them, I was under the impression that my repairs were going well and I would be receiving my vehicle soon. Calling them is how I learned that they outsource mechanical work, my vehicle wasn't at their shop, and the shop responsible for mechanical work and suspension had not yet begun to work on my vehicle. These are important details that I feel should have been communicated to me ASAP. Advancing the timeline 3 weeks after learning this, when my vehicle was back at the Florida location, I was dealt a series of disappointments. I understood that informing me about my vehicle's delays was not their priority, so I was consistently emailing their adjuster. They had torn down my vehicle for body repair, and thus began a cycle of advancement in repairs, discovery of more damage, waiting on parts, repeat. After approx 1 1/2 months of being in this cycle, I was given an estimated date when the body and paint work would be done. On the date given to me for finalization of work, I called to see if my vehicle was ready, and it was not. The body work was incomplete due to missing parts which prolonged the paint job. This should have been communicated prior to the date given, not after I reached out, in my opinion. Moving forward several weeks, I stopped reaching out because I was tired of the disappointment. Per usual, no one from the shop was updating me either. I finally called to get an estimate on time, and was told that my vehicle was at 90% completion. That's when I learned about discrepancies with my insurance payments. Approx a week later, my vehicle was ready, but could not be released to me until the insurance payments were received, which is understandable. Approx 8 days later, everything was settled and I was reunited with my vehicle. After being with my vehicle for 6 days, I wasn't going to write a review, but the rattling from the sight of repair has forced me to acknowledge my annoyance. After 4 months of having my car in their care, I expected the work returned to be superior. The majority of it is decent, but for me, it wasn't worth the experience. The Florida location is not a business I would frequent or recommend, especially to those who need to be walked through the process or have extensive body damage. I hope this helps someone.
