Kevin from G and G Autohaus recommend The Car Guys to me. G and G is an amazing auto repair shop in Las Vegas but they specialize in Mercedes Benz and really don't service domestic vehicles. I took my 2017 Chevy Volt in for a water pump issue. It was diagnosed. A new pump was ordered and I scheduled the replacement three days later. They price was very good and the service was completed on time. I drove it around town for a few days and took it on a trip to Southern California which required a great deal of use from the internal combustion engine. I checked the coolant temperature often, driving through the desert in August. All good. It ran cooler and with greater fuel efficiency. The problem is fixed. Thank you Rich and the rest of your team at The Car Guys.

Want to get your car repaired the right way, The Car & Truck Guys is the one. I have a Mercedes Benz C 300 that needed brakes, they did an inspection on it and they told me only my rear brakes needed replacing, they were straight up and honest with me. I love that in a repair shop.

Great diagnostics of my problem. Also, found an adjacent problem while they were inspecting my car. Good service, great people.

Did I just find an honest mechanic?! Let’s be real, auto mechanics don’t always have the best reputation for honesty. I usually leave a mechanic shop feeling like I’ve been taken. I DIDN’T FEEL THAT HERE. I came in and told them about two things that I suspected were issues. After they’d taken a look, they called and told me that they couldn’t see anything wrong with one of the systems that I thought might have an issue. We talked through options and they recommended that I just keep an eye on it. I’d literally just handed them a chance to lie to me and yet they were straight up with me and recommended against a repair. The Car Guys will be my first choice for my future repairs!

Was going to get work done decided not to because the first person I talk to on the phone is a rude, uppity, and acts as if I know nothing about cars when I ask for a simple quote on how many hours of labor it would take for a speed sensor output and set ignition coil wiring harnesses instead of giving me a rough estimate like every other shop I have called, I have to explain everything thats going on with the car when the question I asked was simply how much will it cost to put these parts on. Shows that this shop is just interested in taking your money instead of just doing what you ask and then tell you what else they may have noticed while working on the car. Also : The reply you made proved my point I told you how much labor it would cost to put 2 certain types of parts on all I needed was a quote instead your thinking farther ahead trying to diagnose things I never asked you guys too so yes you are trying to take peoples money, yall just get upset when someone who actually knows something tells you your wrong. If I ask for a quote give me the quote and thats it dont try and diagnose over the phone and tell me what is and isnt wrong with my own vehicle.

Needed a new mechanic, did a Google search, found a few options, TCC had the best reviews and real comments, took the car in, zero issues or hassles, done on time and on budget. 5 stars so far, will be back!

Nice shop. Rich very friendly and knowledgeable. Had oil change, tires rotated, brake inspection, and brake fluid flush. It took about 2 1/2 hours. I had to return to have tire pressure adjusted. Overall, good service. I will use them again.

So the service was fine. The price of the part was marked up considerably and I was not happy with that. I was also surprised with additional charges added to the estimate. And a 3 percent charge for the use of a credit card. And they also forgot to reinstall the 2 protective plates that I had removed to view the problem. All in all not really happy with the entire process 😕

Great service. Honest shop manager tells me what I need to fix and what can wait which I appreciate. Doesn't try to run up the bill on me. Taken 4 of my cars only here for last 8-10yrs.

Great experience because staff is informative and professional. This team really work well together and the quality of their work is phenomenal. I have never had an Auto Repair business call me back 30 days later to check in and make sure everything is running well. I highly recommend the Car Guys.

This was my first experience at Car & Truck garage. I was pleasantly surprised by all the staff. They are very respectful and explained everything to me that needed to be done. I’m not exactly knowledgeable when it comes to cars and mechanics. But they took the time to explain everything to me and they warranty their work which is very unusual. So hopefully not anytime soon but when I do need help again they have my business forever.. Thank you.

Awesome experience with The Car Guys, particularly with Rich and Josh. Took my BMW X5 for inspection and oil change. Had to push my appointment by 2 hrs. Service Advisor, Rich was very friendly and accommodating. His staff is very professional. After oil change, they did a thorough inspection and gave advice on next steps. I liked the crisp communication with no sales pitch. Just talked about problem and how to resolve. I am glad that I found a reliable shop with fair prices. Thank you Josh and Rich.

Took my car here after going to a national mechanic chain, went in for their second opinion. The quote was reasonable and extremely detailed meaning there are 0 surprises when it comes time to decide what to do. All the reviews complaining about the 3% credit card fee must not realize how many businesses do that and just dont tell you up front. The office staff was very professional and had top notch customer service. As for pricing it was very reasonable and like I said completely transparent in the initial quote. Not to mention how quickly they got me back on the road!

Wish I found this shop a lot earlier, they are very honest and straight shooters. I brought my older Kia in for repair and after trying a few things to help keep my cost down, it ultimately didn't work so I brought it back in to try something else. After digging in some more on my check engine codes, they decided the repair would cost me too much, and instead of trying to talk me in to doing it, they did the opposite and talked me out of doing it. I am not sure there is another auto shop in Vegas that would give me back my keys and tell me NO charge for the time spent on my car as well as some parts they paid for. They earned my trust with that one gesture, and I will be sure to recommend them to anyone that ever asks me if I know of a reliable mechanic.

TLDR: Recommended by a trusted source who has their 4 vehicles serviced here. Rich and the gang are outstanding. Oil change and overall checkup. Needed two air filters, which I knew. Authorized those. Happy with the pricing. Zero upselling on useless crap. The service and speed could not have been better. Starbucks a block away. Walked there, returned, service complete moments later. Adding longer details about a competing company: Really want to build a relationship for future service issues. Moved to Vegas 7 mo ago. Found a company that also has a few locations. Great price on the oil change. And just before they wrapped things up I was given some gorgeous, professional-looking paperwork showing black and white photos of things they checked on my car. The guy at the counter said I see you need your “whatever” replaced. He pointed at the picture, supposedly showing it was falling apart, and I saw the Tech’s recommendation in red on the paperwork. How much? $1600. Yow!!! The counter guy assumed the sale and said they’d have the car ready in a few hours. Uh… no. I said I’d have to schedule for later and I’d call. Honestly, the picture showed me nothing. And then I read their disclaimer on the paperwork, that said items will also be listed based on the manufacturer’s recommendation. And this piece was “recommended” to be replaced anytime between the current mileage and 50K miles from now. Wow. Exactly what dealerships do. Which is the reason I want a good independent dealer. And now I’ve found someone I trust.
