Steve was great. We had an oil leak on a long road trip; he helped us figure out what to do about it.

My son has a mini cooper and the battery died. Simple fix right? We purchased a new battery and I installed it in just a few minutes. the car has always had some quirks since the day we purchased it, including a check engine light. We had this checked and supposedly fixed 3 separate times at another local mechanic. They replaced the o2 sensors and catalytic converter. The check engine light remained with an oxygen code. but now, after the battery, it started acting very funny and having new little errors and glitches. I stopped by the foreign aid and spoke to Steve about it. He explained the intricacy’s of the mini copper and that the battery has to be programmed to the car. I set an appointment and brought the car in a few days later. He ran the codes with his high tech computer system and we discovered the car had 4 batteries installed in its lifetime. The computer also told us that NONE of those batteries had EVER been programmed to the car. This explained so much. Steve was able to get the battery programmed and solve the issues. He ran the car and drove it for a few hours to ensure everything was working properly. During this testing, he discovered another issue that was being hidden by the battery faults. The car had a blown gasket seal. Oxegen code? We would have never known about this without the battery being programmed. He ordered the parts needed and we made the repair. We had the car back in a few days. I’ll be heading back to see the foreign aid soon, unfortunately, as this same car is now having transmission issues. I won’t trust anyone else with the mini cooper!

We were looking for a new repair shop for our Porsche and on a recommendation tried them out. We needed a full checkup as it had been a couple of years and a passenger window repair. After nearly 3 weeks, we called for an update and were told that they fixed the window and did the checkup but nothing needed to be done. When we picked up the car a day later, the battery was completely dead and it took nearly an hour to get it started. The gas was empty and we were told not to turn off the car until running it for about 90 minutes (so we had to put gas in tank while leaving it running?). The cost was $1,250 (seemed overly expensive) and then were told that if we used a credit card there would be a 30% service charge. Not impressed! Won’t be back!! Won’t recommend to friends!!!

My name is Randy William Morse I'm a disabled veteran. Steve Stewart and a wonderful lady by the last name of Wyatt donated me a 2003 Nissan Xterra! They were there when I needed them! God put these two in my life when I really really needed them! So I 100% have faith and with a glad heart know that anybody who goes to foreign aid to have their vehicle worked on will get absolute impeccable customer service! And I'm sure they will meet every need to remedy and resolve your vehicles issues! They are a company that really cares about people! And that says a lot about Steve Stewart and his shop! God bless Steve Stewart and his team at foreign aid! And God bless Miss Wyatt! And thank you thank you thank you!

So, I'm driving from the beach in California, and to Boulder CO where our Corporate Rocky Mountain office is for our corporation, Sales Pro Inc. and I badly need an oil change in my Porsche Carrera. We have specialized in crafting Sales & Marketing strategies for launching and expanding businesses for over 40 years, and with a client list that includes and is NOT limited to Google, MS, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Berkshire Hathaway, 20th Century Fox, The Aspen Skiing Corporation, BOA, Wells, Citi, AIG Industries, John Deere, Case, Caterpillar, American Airlines, United Airlines, Weston Hotels, Hilton, Hyatt, and over 3000 small Ma & Pa businesses...so you get the idea of our scope in crafting strategies that grow and increase customer base over the years. I blindly called Foreign Aid from a Google search and discovered a REALLY GREAT AUTO SHOP, and a even BETTER owner/operator in STEVE STEWART. Long story made short, I got the oil change the same day when in reality he was booked for two weeks, and I acquired a really good buddy that REALLY knows his profession, and is phenomenally excellent at service & setting price. Before you WASTE your time/money elsewhere...call Steve!

AVOID AT ALL COST - claims to support veterans, but treated this one terrible. Had my car for 2 full business days and got mad at me for calling for an update on running code diagnostics - hung up on me and then tried to convince me to keep my car there when I picked it up. This guy is not the guru he thinks he is, AT ALL. How he treats a customer who pays for $350 oil changes on a 2011 Volvo haha. Then he went onto unsolicited text messages into the evening and next day, definitely needs his credentials pulled

While driving to Phoenix on I-70 in our GLS 450, I had a coolant warning that turned out to be not a coolant issue, but some electrical demons popping up in the car. The rest stop guys recommended Foreign Aid, and Steve got me in on a Monday morning with no notice, diagnosed a faulty computer system battery, replaced it, and had me back on the road in 4 hours. He even lent me a car to take my dogs for a walk and grab a bite to eat. Good service, good guy.

Horrible experience. I would stay away from this place if you have a choice. Tow your car somewhere else if needed. Charged $350 because his feelings were hurt that we refused service after scanning codes. The $350 was for two hours of labor. My daughter wasn’t even in his shop for 1 hour. She is 20 and was scared and he took advantage of her. Shameful. Car was fixed under warranty in Flagstaff. This place is a joke.

A little while back I had some issues with my Mercedes. Steve went out of his way to fit me into his schedule immediately and went to every length that he could to possibly help me. He even made me a burger when it was lunch time! In the end Steve wasn’t able to help me with the problems I was having with my particular vehicle, (Sprinter) but if your vehicle is one that he can work on I highly recommend him. Thanks Steve!

Front right axle on a hard to fix 1985 VW 4WD Van went out. Steve identified the problem within minutes and had the van repaired and ready for us to pick up in 3 days. He even helped find us a rental car. We had a great experience.

So, we had our BMW 328dx under its 4th recall and took it to a dealership for the work. They suggested expensive unrelated work. We declined. After checking around, we found The Foreign Aid shop had the best availability, ratings and cost. Betsy on the front desk got us in and Ryan in the back got us out. Ryan worked beyond what was expected and perhaps even what was reasonable to get us on the road quickly so we could spend the holidays with family. To say we are happy is an understatement. Photo of the car back on the road.

Was quoted almost $200.00 for a quick obd ll scan on my vehicle for not even 5 minutes to read some codes, WOW!, look folks, just call around and do your research with other shops, this guy must think he's the only one around that can work on German vehicles, I got my codes read for free from another local shop, I paid $50.00 as a tip though cause I understand time is money, but not $200.00 for 5 minutes!

Had my a/c compressor blow up just outside of grand junction in my sprinter. The owner was able to order parts and get it done in time for me to keep my schedule, also he came in on a weekend to get me the van. A huge help!

They are so great at what they do. No overcharging, fast work, and very welcoming. I’ve utilized Foreign Aid for 2 cars, and I’m highly satisfied with the results. 10/10 recommend!

Went in for a timing chain replacement on my 2012 Mini Cooper S, only for it to cost $3600 and for the shop to severely throw my camshafts out of time and leave bits of broken plastic in my oil pan that also clogged up my oil pump. This shop has absolutely horrible customer service, and given the work they do and the price they charge, I'm straight up calling this a criminal business. Had I not caught their errors, my cylinder heads would've struck the valves and blown up my engine. Do not go here.

We just had a transmission replaced in our Mercedes ML500. We love this car and Foreign Aid (Steve) did an excellent job! He was very thorough in communication and letting us know what was involved in the process. Our car runs better than ever! Thank you Steve!

Steve looked at my '04 Volvo on very short notice and gave me an honest, no-cost appraisal of its condition. He could have made $$$$ on a big complicated repair but he steered me straight: "Drive it til the wheels fall off." Will do! Thanks, Steve, for saving me time, money and hassle!

Oil change on my Mercedes benz Sprinter van. All new motor on the AWD 2025 chassis. Steve and the boys took care of me, reset all the notifications and oil levels on the computer, no leaks, everything was wiped down clean. This thing is a beast right under 12ft. Tall..... It fit in his shop.
