Unfortunately the morning hours are not consistent as posted. My husband went a few weeks ago and when he arrived they were closed. The person arrived a little later. It was about 9am by then. The smog was quick which was good. I decided to go this morning because of how quick it was. When I arrived around 8:30 there was someone waiting at the door. They said Ethan would be there soon. So second time in a few weeks that they weren't open as advertised. I was hoping it was a one time fluke but the morning hours might not be consistent. I did get my smog done there. I didn't want to wait because last time the person showed up around 9.

I came to this shop for my noon lunch-time appointment, but the shop was closed ! We spoke on the phone earlier that day, but now he was not answering the phone. I waited an hour but the shop never opened. WOW just WOW! I

Such an amazing experience. I pulled up and Antoine was there to greet me and told me to pull my car right in (no wait). He told my husband and I to head into the waiting area and that the process would take about 10 minutes. The waiting area is comfortable and there's a huge window to look into the bay (where my car was). He was right, it was no more than 10 minutes, we took care of payment (which included a $10 discount we found on Yelp) and after a brief personal conversation we were on our way. We will never go anywhere else for a Star certified smog. We love that this is a black and family owned establishment to support.

I called the shop to get the mileage that was recorded at the time of my smog. My display went out on my vehicle and I needed the mileage so the new display could be programed accurately. They told me there would be a charge for this service. So much for customer service. Plenty of places to get smog checked.
