We were on way to the beach and our tire pressure keep decreasing. They were able to get in immediately and inspect the tire. We had 3 nails and decided to replace the tire. Service was fast, honest and friendly. What could have been an expensive inconvenience, turned out to be a quick stop. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Tire Traxx Express already had a 4.8 rating BEFORE I needed their services, and I thank all previous reviewers for drawing my attention to them— because IMHO it deserves a 5.0! Few occasions are less comfortable during a heat wave than finding oneself with a flat tire on a Sunday morning. But I am old enough now to anticipate that anything that happens to me will not necessarily suit itself to my personal convenience! How pleasantly surprising it was to find that Tire Traxx Express was open and fully staffed and fully capable of addressing my screw-impaled rear tire less than a mile from my home, in essentially less than twenty minutes! For those who arrive without cash, there is an ATM on premises which charges $3.25 per transaction; but for this actual repair I was only charged $30. I feel sure anyone who visits Tire Traxx Express will be more than happy to leave a nice tip!

There was a manufacturer problem with a tire I purchased from here. It was at no fault of the shop. I talked to the owner the day that it happened and said I'd be in in the morning first thing. He was there waiting on me to diagnose the problem of my high speed wobble and personally fixed the issue himself and replaced and balanced the brand new tire.

The owner is very nasty and mouthy. He doesn’t like if you’re a woman and know about tires and rims etc. He got loud with me then try to say I should act like an adult. I went back because I wanted an issue fixed but he was so nasty that I’ll never go back there. Normally if you have work done and it’s not right you would inform them of this but o guess he had a problem with that too. The lady manager was cool though.

This is the only place I will go in Newport News for tire repair or replacement. Honest, straight forward and fair. I have used most of the others but the last 3 times I have realized that this is the place for my cars. The others are hustlers and unprofessional. Just my 2 cents.

When no other tire store would touch my tire, they repaired it. My wife caught a nail and they took care of it within 20 minutes and it cost me $25! Way better than $200 for a new tire! No days if you get a nail and it’s not in the center, most places won’t touch it! It’s ridiculous

Unfortunately received a flat tire out the blue and called around to all nearby shops and they were the only ones to get me fast answers regarding that my tire size was in stock, that no appointment was necessary, the full price and time range very respectfully. I am very satisfied with my visit to the shop today in Yorktown. The Boss had me and my husband come into the shop even though that location was closed to help get a very big nail out of our tire and told us to keep an eye on our tire and if it starts to have any problems bring it right to him. I’ve used this service quite a few times. Repair or replace they’re good even purchased new tires and got a good deal. Since they’re not a full service mechanic can get in and out with your tire issues. Recommend 👍🏼
