This place is wonderful. I brought in my 92' Nissan pickup for a tune up because it is old and I need it to last. My truck is my prize possession and they impressed me in every category. They were kind and patient with my many questions. They were efficient and finished the work very quickly. Here is a list of everything I had done back in May. It is now March and everything is still running super great! Oil change, spark plugs, shocks, brake pads, rotors, bearings, tie rods, sway bar links, ball joints, alignment, plus 2 tires. I will absolutely bring my truck back here again and I will refer this place to anyone who needs car support. Great place, great people, very fine work. That is hard to find in Butte county. There's a reason this place has 5 stars! Well done and thanks for keeping my little truck truckin!

Called the day prior to my appointment asking for quotes on tires and alignment. JR gave me good (and honest) prices for good tires. Dropped off the next day and called me way quicker than i anticipated (he mentioned a 9-12 time block; literally like 1 ½ hour later). Thank you for the service JR, I'll be coming back

I am so thrilled to have found Tires Plus on Yelp. Junior the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable on auto repairs. I recently bought an older truck and it needed a tune up and other repairs. The mechanics at Tires Plus quickly worked on it and more importantly was fantastic on communicating with me throughout the process. Junior even called me after the car was repaired to see how the vehicle was responding. I am super impressed with this place. I think I've found my "go to" for all our future vehicle repair needs! Highly Recommended!!!

I came in with a screw in my tire, and they immediately serviced me. They worked SO fast, I was in and out within less than 10 minuets. To my surprise they did not even charge me, and were super nice! The guy even let me keep the screw as a souvenir, lol! I will be back with any other tire needs, I would recommend :)

I went to Tires Plus based on a reference from a great friend. I had my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Raised along with five new rims and tires. I can tell you that my experience was amazing from the consultation to the finish line, hence, the execution of installment. The owner and staff are transparent, honest and are truly in business to meet the wants and needs of their customers. It's no accident that Tire Plus is Chico's Premier Tire and Automotive center.

I got a flat on my way to pick up my daughter from Ballet. I was fortunate enough that this happened right in front of Tires Plus. They got me right in, set me up with a replacement tire. They told me all my tires needed to be replaced (I knew this was eminent prior to this). They gave me a great deal on 4 new tires which they installed/ aligned while I was watching my daughters recital the next day. The two men helping me, Roy and Dave were so nice and explained everything in detail while picking out my tires. I can't say enough great things about this place. Will be returning for all my oil changes and car service needs in the future as their prices are SO much better in comparison to my local car dealership in town. Thank you!

This is the only place I’ll take my car to, you don’t need to go anywhere else. Plus Roy is worth his weight in gold, very professional and always honest. Replaced the clutch on my Subaru Outback and put in near swing arm links recently. Roy is the best, can’t say enough good things about him and this shop.

Not a fan. Brand new motor put in to my husbands truck. $8500 later and it doesn’t even run. It died on vacation and the entire time on the way home. The AC was no longer running as well as before the new motor was put in. They said it died from faulty engine coils my husband put in - paid another $360 to replace them and they think they did us a favor by not charging labor when we could have purchased cheaper and done it ourselves. It didn’t even fix the issue. Went to 2Tech Auto instead after and after real mechanic work, not just a code reader, they discovered the actual issue. Now I’m out $8500 plus $360 just to pay another shop to do the work Tires Plus should have done. The current issue was not an issue before we brought it in. I could have purchased a new vehicle at the price we have paid for this. It’s a complete waste of time and as a female, I don’t believe they take me very seriously. Won’t ever return unless it’s a motor issue covered by the warranty on the new motor that doesn’t even function well. Go elsewhere!!

After a few years of good service I recently had a leveling kit and new tires installed. After 500 miles I was supposed to return. At 400 miles the truck was unsafe to drive and felt like the front end was falling off. My mechanic took a look and found several critical components were loose on the track bars and sway bars some missing hardware. Nothing had been torqued to specifications, When I called the business to notify them they argued that they do great work instead of trying to solve the problem. A big disappointment. Be cautious as mechanics with poor work like this can create a safety problem that is a hazard for you and others on the road.

I bought a full set of tires the end of June and asked for an alignment. I also had other work done afterwards. Specifically told the owner my check engine light was on and was pretty sure my car just needed a new gas cap. After lying to me about what my car needed and not fixing the problem, I got a new gas cap. My car passed smog after that. Yesterday, 12/29, a tire blew out on hwy 99. The owner wouldn't warranty the tire because he claimed it was an alignment issue. I will never go back to Tires Plus in Chico.

Very happy with our first time experience here. I went here because of the outstanding reviews and this place meet my high expectations. The best part was that they took me in the same day and replaced my brakes. So grateful! Update 3 or 4 months later- I wound up having to take my car to the dealership for another issue, and they notified me that my new brakes and new rotors were already wearing down after 3 or 4 months and a piece of the brakes were installed incorrectly. I'm not sure if the wearing down is due to the quality of the brakes or how they were installed. However, I've never had anything like that happen before. I did call the shop, and they were great about getting me in right away and replaced both my tires and rotors since it was in the guaranteed time frame. I also showed them the video from the dealership, showing the brake issue and rusted rotors, which was great that I had. I'm updating to 3 stars because i would have kept driving with those brakes, had i not gone to the dealership and paid for a $225 brake inspection. Finding that out was really worrisome, time-consuming(had to take time off of work twice), and expensive.

I'd been going to this shop since long before Steve Smyth and Marty had to let it go, and was thinking that whoever moves in there has some huge shoes to fill. Well, they (Kahlid/Junior and crew) have done that and more. Personable, friendly, fair, prompt--and a real sense of community (I first went because they're KZFR underwriters). BTW my partner's dad had the Hudson car dealership at that site in 1948. We've got old Chico photos of the place, with the Hudson sign, looking north on Broadway, and Kahlid has framed some of them. Can't recommend them highly enough.

This place is the best they help fixed my tire for free and had great customer service! I took my gfs car and they did maintenance for it at a great price no problems and are very honest!!! I recently took my jeep and they helped me out and they saved me so much money and left her like new for a good price . I truly recommend this place it is the best. Junior is honest and they will help you.

I cannot say enough positive things about Tires Plus!!! I parked when I first got here and was greeted immediately. The gentleman had space in the garage so I was able to pull in. I unfortunately needed 4 new tires immediately or I risked the one tire blowing out. They quoted me $560 for 4 AWD tires vs Les Schwab quoting me $1,100 for the same tires. I was ecstatic! They had all 4 tires in stock and were done swapping them out in less than an hour. The customer service is unmatched. Everyone was so welcoming and genuine. I never felt swindled into a deal. This is why I support local businesses. They also offer financing with 90 days interest free! Walk don’t run (or drive?) to Tires Plus if you need new tires!!!!

JR and his team did a great job taking care of the alignment, wheels, and tires on my lifted truck. I enjoyed the customer service and how quickly they were able to get the exact tires I wanted. I was looking for inspirations for a set of wheels and JR did not disappoint, he showed me a set of custom powder coated wheels he had just finished and they were just what I needed to complete my truck. The quality of the powder coat and color is amazing it is difficult to find shops that do this type of work correctly. I highly recommend visiting this shop!

Pulled in to get some air in my tires and the guys there were very sweet and helpful and went way beyond just filling my tires! They patched up my leaking tires, rotated them, gave me a used tire for my really bad one, AND they even tore my dust cover off for me cuz it was dragging! Only stopped in cuz it’s right around the corner from my work but im glad I did. Won’t be going anywhere else for my tire related needs 😌 I just wish I could remember the names of the 2 kind gentlemen that helped me 🥺 but they know who they are, so, thanks again! 🥰
