Fixed a tire pressure sensor problem for $50 that I was told by other places would cost $300. He didn't even have to remove the tire to do so, just recalibrated something with the computer so that the malfunctioning sensor for tire pressure would work again (instead of taking off the whole tire). Thanks Jim!

Anyone who owns a car needs an honest, reliable mechanic, a professional who is passionate about what they do. I've been through the Gambit with car care professionals and I know when I've come across such a person, or people in this case. The maintenance shop and tires too is my go to when I'm in need or have an emergency. Jim is honest, and ethical and will treat you fair.

Jim is the best, my wife took our Odyssey to Witmeier Honda here in Chico and they gave her an insane quote for repairs and assure that the Alternator was broken and possibly the AC compressor could have "Black death" and might be the case to replace all of it + the power steering + the belts. I told her that was insane and we should get a second opinion so we took it to Jim, who check it out on a Wednesday and told me what needed to be replaced where the alternator and AC brackets and get new belts. He had done and running two days later. So if you have a Honda never go to Witmeier take it to Jim he is the best!

This place is awesome! The place was previously located over by the Burger Hut at E. Lassen and Cohasset Rd. The owner is Jim and he is super reasonable on pricing. Pretty much my go-to at this point for getting repairs done. Found about about him from a friend. It does tend to be pretty busy quite often, but the wait is very worth it for the saved expense. It's a shame all his reviews from the old location couldn't carry over to the new one for some reason, cuz it's still the same business, just more centrally-located now.

First off I didn’t want to leave a bad review like this but when a business takes advantage of your patronage after being a long time customer, ends up lying and didn’t fix the problem I paid them to remedy then it leaves to the alternative. I used to Trust Jim and used him for over 20 years and never had any issues with his shop, but no longer will I be taking my cars back to the maintenance shop. The last time I Took my car in for a new radiator. I Told him “I was losing coolant and had a leak, make sure it’s nothing more severe going on because I’m not a mechanic.” They put in new radiator and I noticed my gauge was still acting wonky. I called him and he said it was probably low on coolant. Which it was. So I paid for new radiator and system wasn’t working properly. I then called him told him I heard water slushing sound inside cab noise after the installation of the radiator. He said bring in and he would fix it free. My car was running better originally before getting a new radiator here. He also replaced few thousand in parts like new clutch, starter, motor mounts and oil change after pretty much knowing my car was done for. Jim never once mentioned head gasket problems in my car. Go here if you like being lied to, pay $3500 plus in repairs and then scrap your car for free because you got scammed. My car should still be running after paying and replacing major components on it.
