Been let down twice here lately. Took car in needing ball joint replaced, they called and said they couldn't find anything wrong and that everything seemed rock solid. Fast forward 2 months, took car to Crawford transmission to get work done, they called and said they noticed i had a bad ball joint. I had them fix it. I decided to try TMS one more time cause they we're the only ones not booked up for a week. I needed a sensor replaced and they flat out refused to do it. So I called KCM and they said they could definitely help me out.

Stopped in hoping to talk to someone after needing some urgent surprise repairs on my car. After some nasty side eyes from who I can only assume was an employee for simply pulling into the parking lot, I went inside to ring the bell for service….no dice. I understand everybody’s busy these days but I have no interest in patronizing businesses that treat me like an inconvenience.

The shop was very helpful and gave me a referral for a good towing company so I could get my daughter's car there. They were quick to diagnose and give me an estimate of the repair needed and then the repair was timely as well. Highly recommend this shop.

This business is absolutely the best. I was having battery issues, and the mechanic was exceptional with his care. He gave me an accurate diagnostic, didn't try to up-charge or give me a fake charge. They stored my car for the whole weekend and diagnosed my battery issue, all the while checking what the issue was. It turned out I had a bad battery, so they gave me a temporary battery to get a new one. The best part was that they did not charge me for anything, even when I insisted. I absolutely recommend this shop for any service. Thanks for taking care of me, please go to this shop!

I've been here 3 times in 2 weeks with separate issues. They've taken very good care of me. It's not easy to find a mechanic you can trust but I highly recommend. Also they made sure I understood everything that was going on. Even took the time to record what the issue was to show me and took his time with me. I've came at random times and they always fit me in. With only having one vehicle I appreciate that so much.

Refused to give me a copy of my service invoice from a couple years back after denying my warranty claim. They stated “the owner passed away, and the computers crashed so we lost all the files”. Not kidding! I try to always support local businesses, but the lack of transparency here is astounding. I’d suggest taking your vehicle to a legit place if you can afford it.

I was on 57 North during rush hour and got a flat tire. I called TMS and the owner graciously agreed to stay at the shop for me until I could get my car towed there. They were able to order me a new tire and get me back on the road very quickly! They were very professional and pricing was reasonable and affordable. Will definitely be telling my family about this shop!

Update: October 11, 2024 - I purchased a 2014 Buick LaCrosse recently and took it to TMS because the engine light came on. Steve checked the car out and said I must take it to the dealer. Thankfully, I purchased an extended warrenty with car. Steve explained everything to me. And he didn't charge me for checking out my car. This is the best place to take your car! Thank you TMS for your hard work and ethics! Pastor Mike (Last Year, 2023) These guys are awesome! They have always been friendly and have helped me on several occasions. While none of us like to pay for car repairs, I would highly recommend TMS auto. I believe they are fair and get the work done on time. I made the mistake and took my car to another shop recently. I won't make that mistake again. Thank you TMS for being honest.

Took car in November 18th for a coolant leak, about a week before I was supposed to head to Pa for my friend's wedding. Flight non refundable. Took car in and was told I needed to have my radiator replaced $1,000, I let them know that I had a timeline that the coolant leak wasn't terrible so if it needed to be done soon I could do it after. Missed flight, got car back a week later, still leaking. Let them know it was still leaking, they said they'd make it good so I brought the car back. Parts don't come in for a week. They replace my return lines (something directly related to the leak). Return car, still leaking. I am extremely upset at this point. I let them know I will be driving to Pa for the Christmas holiday and I'd like to have the car back, not leaking, well before so I can make sure there are no other issues. This time I have to pay for the part (complete lower coolant hose, also directly related to original problem). Bring the car in and they return it to me the day that it snowed so I couldn't check reliably if it was leaking. The next day I open the hood, and the coolant is low. I brought the car in with a coolant leak that was minor and now I have to check my coolant every day. I will not be back. Including the rental car I now have to rent, the plane ticket from the wedding, the Lyft rides to and from and service itself I have dumped $2,000 into this saga without an end in sight. Save your money, they don't care, merry Christmas to me.

These guys do great work and go the extra mile to provide great service! A hole got punched in the muffler of my 2009 Subaru, and this muffler was only manufactured for a year when the car first came out. They were able to source one and they charged me an extremely reasonable price to replace it! They’re always very kind and helpful, highly recommend TMS Auto!

I went here based on reviews and they did not disappoint!! Quick. Efficient. To the point. As a woman going to a mechanic I truly didn't feel taken advantage of and it was super refreshing to feel like someone really just wanted to help me get my car running properly again without trying to nickel and dime me. No one was irritated if I asked questions and made sure that I understood what was going on. They lied to my face. Told me after a “test” that I needed a new alternator. After lying about contacting my insurance, I took it to a reputable mechanic who tested it and said the alternator is completely fine. STAY AWAY.
