If you are looking for a reliable mechanic with fair pricing and quality workmanship, I recommend you try Toms Auto Repair in DeLand. I have gone to the garage several times over the last year and have been treated honestly and quickly. I have had electrical work, brake work, and more recently, major steering mechanical work and headlight harness re-work done on a Mazda Protege 5. The work is always top-notch, the estimates are always right on, and the repairs last....these guys are worth visitng (and then putting on the "My Garage" list).

Fraudsters , HIGH on PRICES. Rick and Casey are slick and slippery. Got a 2nd quote for work and was $207.50 less at LP & Sons. Top 3 auto repair places in Deland are LP, Total Car Care and Ted and Sons.

Brought a work truck in with limited AC Flow that my crews were complaining about. Same day, they had diagnosis (clogged evap coil due to no filtration and heavy amount of dirt being it's a work truck) and estimate. Even called me to verify some custom wiring before putting dash back together. Knowledgeable, excellent, and highly recommended!

I don’t know much about cars, but Rick and Casey do. They have always taken great care of my cars. They advise me of what needs to be done, but don’t suggest unnecessary repairs. They also do the extra stuff, like rotating tires and topping off fluids when I get my oil changed. I highly recommend these guys!!!

I don't even want to give them a 1 star. This place is the biggest thief I have ever gone too. I was given a quote. I already had my truck diag done. I told them this on the phone and exactly what I wanted done. Got a call the next day and he did work I did not ask them to do and wanted to triple my quote. Heied saying other stuff was bad that was not. He also was was trying to mark up the part by 85%. I would avoid this shop if you don't want ripped off..

Honest guys that will repair your car or truck. I have taken a couple vehicles here based on dealer assessment that this or that was leaking, cracked, etc. They looked at "so-called problems" and told me no big deal to repair, issues were not that critical even though the dealer made them out to be potentially catastrophic. That's how I know they're honest. So when I do need something done, Rick and Casey do it.

I am very happy with the service I received from Tom's auto repair. Took my 2013 Avenger in because of a coolant leak . They were able to fix it while I was at work and it was ready for me when I got off work. Casey went above and beyond by talking me to pick the car up from my house so I wouldn't have to walk. Thank you for the excellent service guys, will recommend!

was looking to get some work done on my truck, and rather than have the dealership do it, i figured i would try a local company. i had heard of toms before and so i went to the site, filled out all the info that you have to do, got the confirmation email and it says that someone will contact you within 24-48 hrs. i filled this form out on a monday and i waited for a reply....and waited.....and waited....and here comes Friday and no reply. how hard is it to respond to a email ? this is your policy to fill out the form and you say that you will get back with the person, but yet you didnt. very, very disappointed. the thing is that i can write this and give you a 1 star, but in the end, do you really care ? if , and i repeat, if you were to busy with work, then simply reply back and say that you are busy right now and check back in a week or so or i could schedule something with you.....but you couldnt even do that, which as a potential customer is frustrating.

This is the best place in all of Deland for auto repair. I can't say enough about Casey and his team. I brought my truck in for a second opinion. The first garage also located in DeLand quoted 5000.00. After talking to Casey and having him look over my truck. The problem was not even what the first mechanic said was wrong with it. Casey and his team fixed my truck perfectly. It's like it's band new again. I know this is just a review. Please take my word for it. After being ripped off by so many mechanics. I have to honesty state. That Toms Automotive is the BEST place to get your vehicles done. Thanks again Casey. A very happy customer

My driver side window fell into my door and I had a hard time finding someone to fix it. I checked online and found that Tom's had all 5-Star Reviews on their services on Yelp. I called them and they said they were busy but if I could leave it overnight, they would have it some by the next day. Within 2 hours after I had dropped it off, they called and said it was done and ready to for me pick up. The charge for the work was reasonable and they gave me a quote on another major repair I needed to have done that was several hundred dollars LESS than other mechanics had given me. They are conveniently located downtown DeLand I was very impressed with everyone I met with that worked there.

I went to Toms twice and Casey is amazing! Quality work and honesty. This is my go to for anything they do that my car needs now. I love when a mechanic is honest and doesn’t try to tell you that you need something you don’t and tells you what you do need even though they may not do it.
