Not happy about waiting 2 hrs only to find out the part (door handle) that was ordered was not painted. The service person could have been proactive and checked before making me wait 2hrs.!! My time is valuable. Also now I have to go back once they call me to let me know the part has been painted. Then the service representative said, Because we’ve wasted your time we’re going to fill your tank up, well while driving home, I realized they didn’t fill my tank up. Don’t tell me you’re going to do something if you’re not going to do it.! I’m very disappointed in this service at Hyundai.

I had an appointment for 8:00 am. I dropped the car around 7:43 am. I requested oil change, tire rotation and cooling system inspection. Around 11:00 am I checked myHundai app and it showed my car parked outside the service area. Nobody called me or text me to let me Know my car was ready for pick up, I checked on the site provided by text message and it shows my car still on evaluation . 1pm 2pm nothing. At 3:00 pm I was mad already and decided to go and pick up my car with whatever the service was done. I told hem I was there to pick up my car only to been told that my car was done early morning and nobody called me to keep me updated and I needed the car to do my chores. Mr. Ponteiro and a young guy called Joe treated me like they were doing a favor to me, walking around nonchalant and not even a Hi, how can I help you or a Thank you for your business come back again.…let me tell you that I paid around $400 , it was not a favor it was a paid service . A service that keep your business afloat and a service that I would NOT RECOMMEND. This place is stupid,overpriced, bad customer service and I still waiting for a quote for a lightbulb that needs to be replaced. That’s how you do business?? Definitely going to another dealer even if I pay double I would prefer to go somewhere else. By the way. Mr. Ponteiro told me the rearview mirror had to be replaced in order to replace the blinker on the rearview mirror…well, you can actually replace just the light, I found the video how to do it on a YouTube video, it takes 15 min and it cost $20 on Amazon…thank you guys for trying to ripped me off over $500

Update: 2 Dec 2025 The General Manager (Nelson Taveras) contacted me about this problem. He was very apologetic. We discussed in detail and he asked me to come back and let them try to resolve my issue. Jim (Service Manager) called immediately and scheduled the appointment and assured me the service tech would look at it right away. I will update this review and rating after the appointment on 9 Dec 2025. I live 40 miles from this dealership. Arrived at 1030 for a 1040 appointment. At 1:45pm, I asked status of my vehicle- they had not looked at it. If they had told me they did not have all techs on hand, I would have left. Took another 30 minutes to have the tech look at it and then the tech stated could not duplicate problem. I finally left at 2:40. If I had not waited so long, I would have had the tech drive with me so I could show him what my complaint was. It is a slight judder when going SLOW up to 20 miles an hour. They reset a complete engine and transmission adaptive relearn but still seemed to have the same problem. Will just drive it awhile and hope it clears up. But the Jim (service rep) and Jim ( service mgr) were nice and the tech did get to it right away after my complaint so that is the reason they got as high as 3 star

Visited Coggins during trip to Deland from our home in NE Ga, where there are no Hyundai dealers. My Tucson needed oil change and alignment. Their service dept was so thorough in checking everything and found dangerous tire defect. Their waiting room is fabulous and service manager so professional. Wonderful experience.

Won’t let anyone else work on my cars. Have not had any problems with work not being done or half(you know what). Usually just routine maintenance because I also bought the cars from them and have little to no issues with the vehicles. Highly recommend these guys. Or they want the consumers to pay for the complete renovation that just finished. So disappointed in this dealership. Time to move on. No customer loyalty recognition.

Update: I am grateful to Mr. Nelson Taveras, General Manager, and the team for doing an incredible effort, support and professionalism in helping me out of my situation. He’s genuinely committed to helping me get to a better place financially, and worked hard to find me a new car, with lower APR and monthly payment. The relief I was felt after everything was sorted out was huge. Special thanks to Ms. Rashna, Mr. Tino and Peter, who personally assisted me throughout the process, your support, kindness and dedication didn’t go unnoticed. You helped turn a stressful situation into something manageable, and I’m genuinely grateful for your efforts you put in. 😔😔😔 I'm still fuming about the deal I got stuck with. Bought a Hyundai Elantra 2024 and they pushed me into a ridiculous loan with 14.24% APR and a whopping $702 monthly payment for 84 months, and as a teacher, I cant take paying such amount for that long term. When I tried to refinance, every credit union I talked to laughed me out - said I'd need a massive down payment. I asked them to help me find ways to at least lessen my monthly payment and APR, since I can't adjust the loan term (maxed out at 84 months), they said that I can refinance after a year, but nope! They just want me to trade-in with a $5000 down payment, piling on another loan 🤦🏻♂️. Any suggestions to get lessen this problem? I will definitely appreciate it.🙏

First started service here during the remodel and although it was chaotic everyone seemed very nice and helpful. We scheduled our first oil change and had a paint defect looked at which we were told would be covered by warranty and they would call to schedule but never did. At the next oil change post remodel it was brought up and we were told there were no notes or info about that ever happening. The manager made a comment we didn't buy the car from them and it was probably something that happened where we bought it despite the fact it was not but claimed he would get it taken care of along with our recalls at the next appointment and we would be called in 3-5 days when the recall parts came in and we would be given a loaner car for the work. Almost two weeks later no one contacted me and when I called in I was told my case said "Do Not Schedule" in regards to the paint issue and I was told I had to bring the car in during the week at 9am for the 3 hr recall work but couldn't guarantee a loaner car but was told I could pay for a rental. There is a lack of communication/documentation going on here and a lack of focus on customer satisfaction. We are taking our business elsewhere as a result. I'm very disappointed because I always shared how nice and helpful everyone was here and how happy I was with the initial interactions. Unfortunately, there is a lack of follow through. I should add that after the second oil change I also had oil handprints inside my car on the steering wheel and door. It seems like they are too busy and maybe some people are getting frustrated by the workload based on the interaction we had.

Remodel at the service center is finished and very comfortable seating. Jim was very sweet and helpful. I was visiting my mother and had scheduled ahead of time for my maintenance and so it was very quick checking in. Jim showed me seating area and kept me informed via text and in person. I’ve been coming here for 3 years since my husband surprised me with my beautiful 2020 Hyundai Tucson on Valentines Day 🤎. We usually come together and always feel special because we most times interact with the same service agent Raul. Until recently during renovations when the wait time was a little longer than expected we were able to meet the manager and he spent time with us and made sure we were comfortable and continually communicated with us giving updates personally. My recent visit he came out of his office to greet me as I arrived and he showed me the newly renovated building and it is awesome!! As far as caring for my car it is well maintained and give me no trouble, we are well informed about what is needed according to the mileage. If something needs immediate attention we’re told or if it can wait until next oil change, no pushing. We’re notified by email when it’s time to make an appointment for maintenance. I appreciate the reminder because sometimes I do forget. I’m really liking the new look🥳🥳

UPDATE 2/17/26: I had to return to Coggin DeLand Hyundai to have a bad USB charging port replaced. At this appointment, they also reset the service reminder, and checked the tire pressure on all the tires (which had not been done when I brought it in last week). They also checked out my air conditioning system since I was concerned about the recirculation light going off. I met with the Service Director, who explained that the information I had been given at my last visit about CO2 was incorrect. He provided me with detailed information on how the system interacts with the recirculation feature. He reassured me that there was no CO2 issues. He answered all of my questions, and apologized for the misinformation as well as the service reminder and tire pressure not being checked at my previous visit. He gave me his direct telephone number and email address if I had any further questions and concerns. He was very attentive to my concerns. I had thought my warranty expired after 3 years, but he informed me that my warranty was actually 5 years/60,000 miles. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I would give it zero stars. I came in and asked that an issue with my recirculation indicator be checked out. They said it goes out when there is a buildup of CO2 or gases in the cabin of the car. They refused to investigate it further. Two days later I was still upset that they would not fix this potentially serious issue. I was told the service manager would call me to discuss it. He never did. Another service assistant told me it was an error on my service invoice that listed the cause was a buildup of CO2. It was really moisture or humidity (even though it was a cold day, with no moisture and little or no humidity). I said I would wait for the service manager to call me. I was told that he said it was mist. Again, the service manager never bothered to call me. I had routine maintenance done on my car. I was never given an update until the work was completed after 2 hours. I found out that the service reminder indicator was never reset and it goes off each time the car is started. My tires were rotated but they never bothered to check the tire pressure. One tire is 2-3 lbs less than the other tires. Never have any service done here! They apparently do not know what they are doing, even on simple routine maintenance. If there is a potential serious issue, they will not check it out and fix it. My car is still under warranty, so I have to assume that they will not acknowledge the serious problem until after the warranty expires, and I am then responsible for the cost. It is such poor customer service when they are not honest with you, and the service manager dismisses your concern without even giving me the courtesy of talking to me, after being told he would call. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! AND I STILL HAVE A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION WITH MY CAR!!
