My Toyota has been serviced exclusively at the dealership until today. I decided to switch to an automotive repair shop now that my vehicle has more than 100,000 miles on it. After extensive research I found Tomlinson Motor Company Service in Gainesville. Ms. Tami, and the two gentlemen I worked with Tyler and Scott, were amazing. Not only were the repairs made today, they were made with short notice, patience, thorough explanations and smiles. I found my new repair shop in Gainesville. They are truly the best!

I’m speechless. My son called Thanksgiving week with a headlight out and check engine light on. He needed help days before Thanksgiving in order to come home. Despite being fully booked and having a decreased staff during the holiday week, Scott brought him in! My son’s light was replaced and they looked his car over and told him it was safe to drive home. My son said Scott was positive and polite, as he was when I called later to thank them. It is rare to find this level of customer service! We are thrilled to have a place away from home to do car repairs.

They strike me as the kind of people that want to have a good reputation over the long- term and are not chasing the "quick buck." They also seem like they are going for a fair price on fair work. I came on on 8/13/24 to deal with a straightforward/ quick task that I was having trouble doing on my own, because of the positioning of something in my car making it hard to access. The person who I dealt with was able to squeeze me in between other cars, got me out quickly, and was very understanding about the whole thing. I can see why they have a bunch of 5- star reviews. I'd definitely bring my car back to them again and recommend others to have their work done there too.

We have used Tomlinson for service for more than a dozen years now and sent countless people there. They are honest and accurate so when they tell you something you never have to worry that you are being played. First time I went Toyota had told me I needed $3k in transmission work. Tomlinson found the issue was a $35 relay in the pedal assembly. :)

Let me start this review, by making the obvious statement, no one likes to have to deal with car issues. But the people at Tomlinson exceed any and all expectations. Their service is quick, professional, and expert. My daughter’s car has had some issues the past couple years, and the mechanics at Tomlinson have done a phenomenal job with transparent communication and pricing. I would like to add to this review that their front desk man Antonio is exceptional as well. He’s courtesy, and although as stated earlier car trouble is never fun, Antonio helps make the experience smooth, and enjoyable. Thanks for being the man you are Antonio, and thank you Tomlinson mechanics, you guys are exemplary. You’ve earned this family’s business for life! All of you be blessed in the mighty name Jesus!

Recently, in early October, I had an oil change and tire rotation at Tomlinson Motor Company Service Department. The first thing I noticed was that they took my car in and started on it right away. They finished in a reasonable time frame. The waiting room was comfortable and clean. Also, the guy at the service desk was very courteous and kind. It was a great experience. I bought my car at Tomlinson, no hassle and reasonable pricing. I feel the same way at service. Easy to make appointments. Tyler, who helped me today, was very clear about pricing and cost benefit. I’m very comfortable in the waiting room and rarely have long waits. Lee was my technician and he was helpful too! When I buy again, I will buy from Tomlinson, in part, because I really appreciate their service department!
