This is a cut above the rest among auto repair shops. We were traveling out of State on a Friday morning, when we experienced an u expected engine problem. After pulling off the highway, we found Tommy's, and are so glad we did. Even though we had no appointment, and they were fully booked, they took immediate Care of us after we explained we were on a road trip. The service is excellent, reasonably priced, and you can tell they care about providing a a great customer experience. They also made follow up calls after the service just to make sure everything was satisfactory. It's too bad they are so far from where we live, or they would certainly have my business for life.

I have been going to this shop for a couple years now. They are quick a thorough in their work. But BEWARE, they will source parts from 3rd party dealerships that are overpriced. Recently had to pay for a part that was $3065, but MOPAR had the part on sell for $2240. I would have wanted to wait a couple days for shipping rather than pay an extra $800 but that’s just me. If you need your car ASAP you may have to eat the price. But they won’t shop around for better prices if they can get you out the door faster.

Mason has been helping me with a particularly difficult problem my car is having, and has been helping me communicate with the dealership and solve the issues in the way that most benefits me. Tommy's Hi Tech auto I was very pleased what was done my check engine light was on they fixed it replaced a sensor. Had two different people ask me did u need a shuttle ride somewhere glad they offered to assist to take me anywhere in Denton. Thanks Tommy's I will use yah again for a first time customer.

Terrible customer service. Don’t use them, they show fake promotions online and they don’t honor them. Charging you $115 for oil change is highway robbery, we all know the real cost for them is less than 30$. Bulk oil is cheap, and labor for an express tech doing an oil change isn’t more than $24.00 an hour. Maybe be more honest and conduct better business practices that make customers want to come to you. Also, make sure Mason gets some customer service training and doesn’t hang up on clients.

You know the horror stories about repairing import vehicles..? THE STORIES ARE TRUE! We had a headlight go out on our is300 when to the Lexus dealership, they wanted FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS to replace the headlamp. Lucky for us I knew about Tommy's Hi Tech! Trevor and Sid took care of us from Mobile inquiry to phone follow ups and updates. They showed us what was actually wrong and was able to do the same work as the dealership FOR A QUARTER of the cost! I do must of my own auto work but sometimes there are jobs that are just outside of my comfort level but it's good to know there are mechanics and businesses that care about transparency and quality craftsmanship as much as they care about their customers.

UPDATE: I was able to talk to a manager, Jason. He committed to looking into the issue, so I’m hopeful customers will again begin receiving accurate quotes. We’ve been using Tommy’s for decades. The service has always been good. Unfortunately, they’ve changed. Most recently, they sent us a quote for an oil change. At pick-up, the cost was $9 more, due to a “fee,” that they didn’t disclose when we approved the quote. They stated the fee was to cover shop supplies and disposal. It is perfectly reasonable to charge for that. What I don’t understand is why they have started hiding those fees when sending quotes for customers to approve.

I have a 2018 GMC sierra 1500 SLT. I noticed a couple Unfamiliar noises in my engine bay after I changed my transmission fluid and transmission filter. I was not sure if it was interconnected with the new noises I was hearing so I had it towed over to Tommys To get a full diagnostic just to be safe. They ran through everything, gave it a clean bill of health and gave me a very reasonably priced quote to Replace my catalytic converters in the future. Which will need to be done in the next six months, I will 100% be taking it there to get the work done. Lastly, I dropped off my truck Monday morning, they were done with diagnostics by Wednesday, but I could not pick it up until Friday due to work related issues. Tommys was super cool with me leaving it there for the extra two days, no questions asked. I will be referring to Tommys with all of the service work needed moving forward!

My fiancé took his vehicle to Tommy’s twice for the same issue. The first visit, they told him nothing was wrong and suggested it might be the spark plugs, which he replaced on his own. The problem continued, so he brought the car back. They charged him over $1,000 and still did not fix the issue. They told him he had to pay for the labor and the time they put into trying to find the problem. Paying that much and leaving with the same problem is unacceptable. Very disappointing experience. We will not be returning.

Would not recommend to Anyone. Sent my daughter down to ask them price on fixing a heater hose leak. They said they would let her know in about an hour. They called her back with a $1900 quote. I called and talked to Tim. He said she needed an oil leak fixed, New shocks and struts and two new complete heater hoses. I told him she could not afford all that and she was just there for the water leak . He quoted 1100 and some change. Called my mechanic where I live and he said maybe $300 to replace hoses if needed. I called back and said she would have to go elsewhere. Cost me $200 dollars to tell me all the things I didn’t ask for. Her boyfriend’s father came down and changed the $31 connector that is on the heater hose that connects it to the heater core. I really would give 0 stars and beware of sending your daughter or anyone that doesn’t know much about cars to this place. Complete rip off!!!

Had my radiator and transmission replaced with Tommy’s for my 2013 Nissan Rogue. My car was under Carmax warranty care and Tommy’s was able to easily work with them and I to get my transmission replaced and radiator with lower and upper hoses replaced. Matt was an excellent mechanic, he did great work and kept me up to date on the status of vehicle. This is why I will always take my car to them for my repairs. Shout out to Matt my technician

Last Friday before the snowstorm of 2026, I had to have my pickup towed here to get repaired. I had damaged some major components of my front suspension. Brian was my service advisor. He got my truck repaired quickly and got me back on the road quickly, even with the delays of Texas being shut down because of the ice storm. My truck is running great and I am happy that it comes with a warranty on the repairs. The staff that I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. They fixed everything on my truck. They even put windshield washer fluid in the reservoir. I understand that is a small thing but to me it speaks highly of their attention to the details. Thank you Tommy’s Hi Tech Auto!!! I will definitely return here for my future automotive needs.

Tommy's Hi Tech has been our go to for all car repairs from alternator to radiator to simple oil changes and tire rotation. While I was waiting for my vehicle to be worked on, I overheard them recommended to a lady that she not have a barely leaking valve cover fixed until it became a problem, which saved her from an unnecessary repair cost. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

I’ve been to Tommy’s a few times over the years, but it’s been a while because my husband’s been taking my car to get an oil changed ever since he had a minor issue with his car at Tommy’s. I was in desperate need of an oil change and I stopped by take five first and they quoted me $115 and I thought that was really high so I left. I called Tommy’s and they said they had an appointment available in 10 minutes so I took it and me and my three kids went there. We were there for an hour and 48 minutes for an oil change. They did have a few sodas and bags of chips, which my kids were grateful for, but the place was not how I remembered it. The chairs were stained, the coffee maker really needed to be cleaned, and the bathroom was not working for a period of time while we were there because something with the pipes that they ended up fixing. After about an hour, we went to ask you know how much longer the wait would be and they said oh we’re gonna get it right out. There was a problem getting your filter off or something which I think was just lip service bc it took a significant amount of extra time. I will say when I left he didn’t try to sell me anything additional because he probably knew I was just ready to go. It cost $73 and I have a 6 quart traverse so I thought that was a good price but I definitely will pay the extra money to stay in my car for 10 minutes and have it done at take five next time. All the workers were kind. They are just overbooking and the wait is long and they aren’t up-keeping the waiting area or restrooms

Been going here for years. I work on my own cars but sometimes need alignments done and AC leak testing etc and they have a great European car mechanic. If I can’t figure it out, I take it here. Hard to find a BMW alignment shop but these guys do a great job and get you in quick. This place is awesome because they have extremely diverse experience so they can work on basically any car. Seems like they got a bunch of mechanics that specialize in certain cars and communicate and share tools etc. Want it done quickly with no excuses? This is the place to go. They have at least a hundred years of combined experience, maybe 200. Better than smaller shops with limited tools and labor experience - Tommy’s has a very well equipped shop. I get turned down jobs all the time (“car too low, NO BMWs”) but they always get my work done. Even had AC work done on my “GMW” a zombie car with an LS3 - with two AC pressure switches and two ECUs, this didn’t phase them. Customer service is stellar, they will give you a free ride home or call an uber and if any issues at all they follow up with transparent and clear communication. Had a small issue with a price mix up once but the manager or owner Trevor, personally called me and made it right. I was surprised that he was so on top of things and this attentive and thoughtful customer service is why I keep coming back. I continue to be impressed at the experience they offer each time I visit. See you next time!

After my car broke down on 2/11/26, I initially had it towed to a nearby shop where it sat for two days with very poor communication. Lacking confidence in that experience, I decided to have my vehicle moved to your shop, which proved to be the best decision I could have made.
